As a bride, the last thing you want to worry about is hair and makeup not going the way you planned. My hair and makeup were scheduled weeks in advance through their online booking. A few days before, they rescheduled my hair to a time that wasn't ideal for a sunset wedding. (10:30AM. I had to cancel my hair). Secondly, on the day of, at the time of my appointment (after driving an hour out of my way, literally parked in the parking lot) they canceled my makeup saying they were out of town. I cried. It's unfortunate and unbelievably unprofessional. I ended up crying on the side of the road because my wedding was hours away and I had no leads. Never again trusting this place. I really recommend booking with Lucas! He always gives me exactly what I want and warns me if he feels like a specific style won't work for my hair texture since my hair is extremely wavy. This is the second dedicated blow out salon in El Paso. It is located inside the TIME shopping center in Montecillo. The place is very small but totally cute. There is room for 2 stylists, one washing station and a makeup station. The music is fun and the stylists are very friendly! Their website has all the appointments set up, so it's easy booking! I Came to this wonderful salon on a Thursday for a braid. As a first time client I must say I would definitely go back. Upon walking into the salon everyone was friendly and personable. I was greeted quickly by Marissa and offered a drink of my choice. Very clean salon and a lot roomier than their old location(which I had seen by passing only). Marissa did an excellent job on my braids. They came out perfect and she took only about 30 minutes to do. They use high-quality hair products from The brand living proof. lack of professionalism and customer service knowledge. I asked a simple question on facebook about their pricing for an event and instead they deleted my comment. Blow dry bar charges $30 for a blowout and these people are trying to charge $100. What's the difference? they won't bother to explain just delete your question and critique . they obviously feel they are too good for it. read more

Let me just start by saying that I have been getting my haircut at Tousled for a year now and this recent experience will make me look elsewhere. I went in with my hair grown out for graduation asking for simple layers that would start below my shoulder so I would not lose any length. Alondra was the person they placed me with and I am assuming she is new to cutting hair because after two and a half hours she managed to not only cut off a drastic amount of length but she also gave me horrible layers that now start above the base of my skull in the back and they did not blend at all. So much so that I had to have another stylist come and try and salvage the work she did. I do not know why they would have someone so inexperienced working at a place like Tousled. It truly burdens me to say that it was the worst haircut I have ever had. read more
