I'm autistic and overstimulated at this point so I just say no, water is fine. And that was a little ehh, but the food was absolutely the most disappointing part of this experience. I ordered a burger with bacon and cheese and their curly fries on the side...the fries were barely warm, and not a single element of the burger was seasoned. It was offensively bland, and on top of that, the bacon was floppy. Burger was undercooked as well (menu says they're cooked to medium well, it was about medium rare). I took 2 bites and was totally done. It's really a shame because you can tell the quality of the ingredients is good, but the execution was just kind of embarrassing. Like...salt and pepper the meat at least, please, c'mon. The milkshake was pretty good, though. This place is an institution, but I think it's leaning a little too hard on that reputation and has let the quality of its food slip.

It didn't feel like a place that we could have fun at -- for example, I remember the last time we were there, the host was YELLING at everyone about how many times we could sign up to sing, and if your name wasn't PERFECT spelling then they would not allow you to do so. Not only did he yell, but he also humiliated these girls in front of everyone during his 5 minute rant. That made me and my friends realize we're not coming back, because it clearly made those girls uncomfortable + the audience in shock. Other than the karaoke experience, this place is very nice and I do recommend it. Sadly, I don't think I will be returning here at night / bar vibes (regardless of karaoke) for these reasons.

So I'll share this on Yelp too so others are aware of their poor customer service. Unfortunately, the experience ended up being very disappointing. Service was extremely slow and disorganized from the start. About 15 minutes after ordering, a different waitress brought food to our table that we hadn't ordered, then quickly took it away without much explanation. From there, things only got worse. Our meals came out slowly over the course of 30-45 minutes, just one or two plates at a time, with no communication about the delays. Our four-year-old waited nearly 45 minutes for a simple order of fish sticks. Even basic service was lacking. We had to ask multiple times for something as simple as an apple juice refill, and it still took far too long to arrive. Toward the end of the meal, our waitress stopped checking on our table altogether, which made it difficult to order dessert. The food itself was pretty good, which is the only reason this isn't a one-star review. However, the poor service and lack of attentiveness completely overshadowed the experience. Overall, it was frustrating and disappointing, and we don't plan to return.
