Bustling bar on a Friday lunch hour!
    Brian V.

Outstanding meal. I started with a Magner's which is reason enough to try this place out ! Brody ordered the broiled (not fried) haddock and subbed a salad for the fries. I was all about the English Pub experience- Fish and chips all the way! I ordered a side of creamy dill salad dressing to replace the usually tartar sauce. Brody's sandwich and salad both came this red onion which was a great Add to my fish and chips. The creamy dill, haddock, fries and red onion made for a tasty bite. There was not a drop of food left on either of our plates! Great meal on a fun atmosphere on a Friday afternoon. Our server , Nazee, was new and did a great job serving the food and checking on us while we ate for drinks. Enjoyable meal while visiting VA for a soccer tournament. Cheers!

Wow! This was a phenomenal stop, and I'm not just saying that because we drove in for business from 4 hours away! First of all, Kylie was amazing and treated us like Queens, including our puppa on the patio. She even brought water for our little girl and was delightful, cheery, and attentive, even though we were the only ones dining outside that day. We began with the spinach artichoke dip with pita. Delicious, warm, and even the oil from the dish was finger licking good. Look at that cheese pull on the first bite! Being back at a Park Lane I, of course, reached for Magners, a phenomenal Irish cider that rarely available elsewhere. For lunch I had the seared Ahi Tuna. It came with delicious sliced ginger, wasabi, a bed of greens and peppers, as well as a spectacular, thick soy dipping sauce and tempura crunch straws. This was an ample portion for the price and I was not left wanting whatsoever. My guest had the Tavern Club, stacked high, and their first time trying avocado! They devoured half and some of the house made tavern chips and was left needing a box for the other half of this huge club. If you're looking for a great meal, scotch and bourbon list, as well as wonderful imports and man domestic beers, this is the place to go. If Kylie is available, make sure you ask for her!

Met a friend here for lunch. We arrived a few minutes before opened at 11am. While we waited, many other locals showed up. By the time our food came, the place was half full. It's obviously very popular and a lot of people know about it. My friend got the salad with chicken on top. It looked good. I got the burger and it was absolutely amazing. Everything was cooked exactly how I requested. It was cooked, medium rare it had blue cheese crumbles. I had extra lettuce and the lettuce was a very high-quality and fresh. Would come back here.

I'm met some friends to have lunch before a movie. I thought I was meeting them in Fredericksburg, but apparently I met them in the UK. The atmosphere was an English pub. I loved it. I sort of wish they had pub music playing, but nonetheless I enjoyed their pop playlist. I am gluten-free so I had the gluten-free goat cheese dip with crudités my friends all had something different. Friend one had a plate of chicken tenders. Friend two had a sandwich and fries friend three got the Monte Cristo and friend four had the fried fish. Everything smelled awesome. My friends all raved about their food. I enjoyed my goat cheese dip very much, and I took pictures because describing the food would be impossible since I didn't taste it, but I can say that it came highly recommended by my friends. The service was friendly. The parking was decent. I would definitely go back.

A cold night calls for a good burger, and PLT has never failed us. Tonight was no different. We were greeted as soon as we stepped inside. We went straight to the bar and took our places. My wife ordered a Cranberry Paloma. I took an Old Speckled Hen. When I came back from the bathroom, the drinks were already waiting. Adriana, the bartender, was friendly and sure of her craft. She mixed drinks the way a person does when they take pride in simple, honest work. I ordered the burger. My wife had the chicken salad. The burger was right--hot, steady, full of flavor. The salad looked light on chicken but heavy with bacon and a thick piece of cheese, which made up the distance. We had another round. Then we headed home through the chill, satisfied with the choice and certain we'd return. It was the kind of night that stays with you, not for any one thing, but for the way everything felt just as it should be.

Again off to Parklane for lunch we had a fantastic Monte Christo and my wife wife had makers mark Bbq Chicken both were good and proper temp with wonderful plate presentation The hostess was her usual friendly and happy personality. The waitress was very good and friendly even tho she had never waited on us before. We are regulars but we have never had a bad experience. We have also been to England and the atmosphere and hospitality is genuine European and highly recommend

We had a most pleasant mid-Saturday afternoon lunch at Park Lane. Four plus stars. Above all, service was stellar. And you gotta appreciate the small finer touches like bringing out plenty of very high-quality napkins. For appetizers we ordered the Tavern Chips, Pickle Fries and Spinach and Artichoke chips. The Tavern Chips were okay, but they were billed on the menu as piled high with cheddar cheese, bacon, scallions, and BBQ sauce. Nah, not really, the toppings were sparse. The Pickle Fries were good and the dill dipping sauce was delicious. However, I didn't really like the tall kooky cone-shaped holder for the fries. It was too tall on the table to see what was down inside the cone. The Spinach Artichoke dip with pita wedges was quite good. For entrées we ordered the Monte Cristo, London Broil and fish and chips. When I saw the Monte Cristo sandwich, I wasn't sure what these ball-shaped things were. The sandwich slices got their curious shape from being tempura fried. Our friend said he loved it and would definitely order again. The London Broil, served with mashed potatoes, mushrooms and green beans was very good. When we asked for medium-rare, they were actually cooked medium-rare. The amount of mashed potatoes was skimpy, the size of an ice cream scoop. Still they were seasoned well and good. I loved the batter on the fish. Really, batter is better than breaded. I'm glad that it wasn't my entree though, because they were ale-battered. I really don't like anything beer-battered. And because beer-battered is so commonplace these days, I never seem to able to eat fish&chips or onion rings anymore. Hell, I think they even put beer in the pancakes at Original Pancake House. Music was played at a solid level that didn't impede conversation.

I've been here twice and I am hooked!! It's a British style pub with some traditional British fare including comfort food and desserts. The bar selection is also huge (beers, liquor, etc). I ordered the fish and chips and a Strawberry basil mocktail. Amaaaaaaaaazing! Also, the fish and chips are half off on Mondays so definitely worth a try! You won't regret it! Our server was fantastic as well :)

We came in for the Monday half off fish and chips. This was my first time, and I would say the fish and chips were great here. The setting was pretty cool. Nice fancy tables, giant bar. The waitstaff were awesome. I will be back.

Growing up in a h hospitality hom, i can easily say the quality is there. Everything is made from scratch. Our server was so sweet and kind. Helpful with the choices & decisions at crunch time. I got the beer battered fish (for 18, I would have liked 2 pieces of fish) bbu t the entire fillet was crispy and i had to let out cool down when th get brought it out. My boyfriend had the Shepards pie. (He is never very responsive with food but he raved about this to the point that we asked to talk to the kitchen.) It was hearty and flavorful. Really yummy beef gravy on top. l love Brussel sprouts and these had sweet Thai chili sauce and bacon bits (a house made recipe). I could have made that my entire meal. The brownie sundae was super moist as well. During the meal, it was a really good portion amount (at first I thought it was small) but it was spot on. If there was a downside I'd say the alcohol was a little more expensive then I would have expected, but that would be about it. I definitly feel like we've found a hidden gem. If you want high quality Irish comfort food. This is definitly the best one I've ever found. I wish I had taken more pictures but it was so good, by the time we thought about posting this review,, we had eaten most of it already.

Wow, what a quaint British pub in the middle of Vienna. Parking is a little tight for this area,…read morebut you can definitely find some spots in the back on a weekday. I ended up biking and there's a bike stand really close by. My friend was craving fish and chips, so we ventured out this way. Because we came on a Thursday they had a deal going where if you ordered a pie, you could get a beer for free. Of course I had to partake, so I ordered the special pie, which was a masala, chicken, curry pie, and it was quite good. A bit small for the price point but with the beer included totally worth it also because their fries are so good. I could demolish over a pound of those fries. They were thick potato and maybe the extra added bonus of having to use a glass ketchup bottle added to it. My friend and I were also taught how to properly hit the ketchup bottle to get the ketchup out by the bartender. You find the 57 on the bottle at an angle and bump you palm there that instead of hitting the bottom and hoping and praying that ketchup comes out. It actually worked or at least it was more efficient than trying to hit the bottom of the bottle upside down. I had never had a hand pumped beer before, but it was quite good. They are a warm beer rotating and it was quite good, it especially paired well with the pie or fish and chips.

My husband is a die-had Arsenal fan and was overjoyed by the chaotic bar scene he encountered as soon as he entered. The City + Arsenal game had the entire bar packed with fans from both sides pulling up random seats wherever there was a free space. We came a bit late into the game but found a seat in a quieter area of the restaurant that still had good television access. With the dreary rain outside, it felt like we had settled right in a proper British pub! Food wise: - For my husband: Wings were generous, grilled, and delicious with interesting flavors - For me: Fish and chips were light, flakey, and came with some of the best house cut fries I've ever had. - For the kiddos: Although they had a kids menu, my daughters decided to split some pancakes (basically crepes with raspberries and cream sauce, scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Portions are more than generous and the managers were bustling around, talking shop, and thanking everyone who walked through their door. We will definitely be back!

My soup was quite delicious and so was my burger Animal Burger. It was juicy, flavorful and definitely a good order. Everyone else agreed that their burgers (Savannah Burger & Burger Royale) were very enjoyable. The regular fries were fine, nothing particularly special but still tasty. The sweet potato fries were on the colder and soggier side unfortunately; however, that is a typical gamble of ordering those fries.
