There are individual booths set up as studios where artists work making, sculpture, jewelry, painting etc The old turn of the century building is set up to display the produced art of these and other local artists. As a result there is a Huge variety of artistic styles to choose from. Also,all of the art I saw was priced right. Usually one of the things you find in these types of cooperative shops is overpriced work. Not here. The other thing that stands out is the quality of work. It's all pretty good. Again,in a lot of places,displayed work is average at best I'd say this is a great place to add to your list of " finds" if you're looking for art. Go!

As soon as I walked in I was warmly greeted by the proprietor of this gorgeous establishment. She inquired about my decorating project and offered suggestions of items that will work with my color scheme. She stocks unique, quality pieces that will surely add a touch of elegance to any room. If you can't find what you are looking for on the showroom floor she also has an online catalog with more options. This time, we stayed at a nearby hotel and walked into the Galleria so we did not have to deal with traffic and parking. The last time we were here, our impression was that the mall was mainly upscale, expensive stores. In 2026, there are a lot more moderately priced stores that are intended not to be so exclusive. After walking around for a while, our main activity was for the kid to do ice skating. It is basically $20 for unlimited skating, although it has to be continuous. You can't leave and come back. The price includes skates but you have to buy socks if you did not bring any. She was not very good at skating to begin but got better and better as time went on. We were there about 1.5 hours and that was enough. The activity seems to be attractive for kids, teens, and even adults. There were even a few people who seemed professional level. The kid begged us to do skating again the next day so she obviously enjoyed it.

I had to come back a few days later with my wife to show her. The work by Steve Uriegas and Jeff Bergus were some of my favorites. It's a very laid back atmosphere, we felt very welcomed, great people. It's exciting to see downtown Plano adding so many great businesses. My wife and I can eat some great barbecue at Lockharts, go next door to view some art and take a piece home hopefully, then get some dessert at Dude Sweet Chocolate all in the same block.
