Our son wanted to visit here and I think his mother and I enjoyed it equally as much because of all the earlier video games we grew up with were there.

Went to the improv and saw Pippen here recently. Affordable shows and small venue but it feels very cozy and local.

A little disappointed that there wasn't much to do. It was packed. I think they had too many schools going all at once.

The Sci-Tech Discovery Center is a math and science hands-on museum and is more fun for younger kids.

What a great museum and I cannot believe I had never been here before. The Frisco Heritage Center…read moreis a great example of preserving and honoring our past while remaining relevant to our current times. They have a great selection of exhibits from Frisco's rich heritage, along with writings from current authors, including the critically acclaimed Dallas Texas Children's Author Cindy J. Vanous. In addition to the exhibit including Vanous' work, there was also a soccer exhibit that kept up with contemporary times as well. One thing that I thought was really cool was that on the day we were there, the Swedish Men's World Cup Soccer Team was visiting the museum as well.

A young girl painted the western wall when you first walk in and it is quite impressive. There are model T cars and dummy models dressed up from the different eras - they were fabulous. There is a whole display about the Pullman Rail Road cars - loved seeing and learning about this one. There's a section for athletes, western stars from the early 20s, and special exhibits that are displayed until the end of September. Around the museum are old homes decked out with beautiful flowers. To enter them is every other weekend and today was not the day, so we will come back to walk into the homes. The whole experience is free. And there are many wonderful opportunities for selfies/pictures. This is a place you should come to visit if you're in the Frisco area. It's definitely worth it!

It is for sure for someone in your life that loves trains and train models. It can be a quick little visit if not doing the larger tour of things outside and inside, we stayed about 30/40 minutes. They give you a little clipboard with a scavenger hunt, kids and adults, that really helps kids especially take more time to look at all of the things in the display. The folks working, along with the two or three other customers that were train people, there were very informative, helpful & nice to my youngest as he was the only kid there. Plus, for me make a day out of it and plan on going to the video game museum and/or the little learning play area in the same center. Especially based on the amount of time we spent there and the length of time we had taken to make the drive out there, so with our visit we did the video game museum cause my youngest loves both things. There is also a performance space there if there happens to be a show the same day, but the day that we went there was some sort of recital for a school or possibly a stringed instrument players contest.
