I've been here twice, Lyly the owner did my nails both times. The first time things looked good and she was nice, the staff was friendly, my pedicure came out very good. However, when I left I noticed my I still had excess acrylic on the side of a few of my nails that weren't removed in the filing process. No biggie, stuff happens. The second time, she's doing them again, a nail came off and I needed a fill, so another worker was doing my gel pedicure and when she put the UV light down, it touched my toes which messed the polish up. I told her about this when I removed my foot so she didn't have to file it down and start all over. I guess when you take them out before they dry they all wrinkle, so she told me this and I told her I didn't know that would happen but she saw where the light hit my nail and messed up the toe nail polish. Lyly was doing my nails and immediately got an attitude with me and started to tell me it was my fault and I quickly checked her saying that not only did I not know the polish would do that because that's never happened to me before but to check her tone when she talks to me. She started speaking Vietnamese to the woman who was doing my pedicure at I just decided to let it go. I thought it was over but she was being really rough with my hands while she was filing them with the machine filer, she was touching all the cuticles and pulling my hand forward when I reacted to them touching my cuticles and I told her to stop and to fix her attitude. She eventually got the point and decided to be as professional as she could've been when it was time for me to pay. I paid in cash and let them know about the 20% off they have on yelp, she honored it and I tipped the other day woman who did my pedicure. I didn't tip Lyly though which is a shame because I tipped her a lot last time. I thought I found a decent nail place but I guess my search is still going. read more

I have been looking for months for a great nail salon here in Fullerton. Lyly spa has been amazing! I booked At appointment at 11 today walked in Mi did my gel X nails and Hana did my pedicure. The absolute best experience I have had a nail salon. Hana really took the time to get all of my cuticles, then to top it off was just so sweet! Now Mi is an expert with the gel X nail extensions. I am trying to grow my nails out and she recommended what I should do to help grow them out. This was my first time here and I'm super disappointed. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I got these nails done for a trip and I'm upset I have to leave with nails I hate every time I look at... idk the name of the woman who did my full set but she did them SO RUSHED and her work obviously reflects that. I asked for almond shaped nails and I got egg shaped and what's worse is as you can see in the pics a lot of them are uneven and one of them the paint laid unevenly causing that bubble/bump. If you know you get busy during certain days/hours have more staff available or let people know it's gonna be a long wait time instead of rushing through clients and putting the integrity of your work at risk for reviews like this. I also got a pedicure and that was great! On some good notes the place was clean and their prices are very fair. It was $46 for the full set with gel polish and $36 for the pedicure with get polish so $82 total plus my tips. read more

I just want to Begin saying it is hard to find a really good nail salon that takes pride in there work. Me and my daughter came in one day we got pedicures and they were ok and the price was good so I decided to come by myself three weeks later to get another pedicure and the person who helped me was really sweet her name was MiMi she did a good job on my feet I decided to get a new acrylic set and was helped by Jessica from the start I felt rushed and pressured into getting my nails done I thought she was doing a good job at first until I gave her my reference picture and she said that it was no problem she can do any kind of design so I trusted her as you will see in the pictures below my nail was so bumpy and my real nail was showing on the side it was all bad long story short, she wasn't able to do this design that I asked for she tried six times to do it and I just kept on telling her no it's not coming out how I wanted it so I left very unsatisfying now I have a full set that needed to be designed I wouldn't recommend coming here worst decision ever for acrylic, nails The first pictures are of the nails Jessica did and the second picture is my reference picture the rest are when I got them fix and the girl who did my nails the second time knew the assignment and straight killed it. And just FYI I redid my nails at Luxes Nails in Buena Park nail techs name was Kylie she so nice and knows what she's doing. read more

The final product came out great. And the standard prices were great. I had an issue with the woman at the front door. I showed her a picture of the nail I wanted that is supposed to be from this salon. The nail is completely clear and obviously a tip. I even specified to her that what I like about the nail was that it was so clear. The woman told me clear tip with clear acrylic. Now I'm not a nail tech so this sounded fine to me. Then she asked me about shape. She asked coffin or some other shape that sounded like those pointy cat claws. I have never heard of "coffin" shape. I asked her to explain and it sounded like a square tip. I asked for oval. she shaped the nail and it was too pointy. I pointed to the nail bed and explained I wanted the tip to be the same shape as the nail bed. "Oh- square oval." Well that's not exactly what I said. so I got this square nail with edges rounded. I asked her to make it more oval and she said then it would be exactly as before and was very frustrated. So apparently there are only 2 shapes for nails. Pointy and square. Oval does not exist. Next she put the acrylic on. it was not clear. I asked her if it was going to be clear when it dried. She got mad at me and stated she told me if I wanted clear I needed gel-x but I insisted on acrylic. I did not. I had never even heard of gel-x. It is her job, as a nail tech, when she sees a picture of a clear nail to say you need gel-x for that. Why even mention acrylic? So I got a different nail tech. the first woman was setting the prices and I'm pretty sure she jacked up my son's prices after this whole incident. But I was happy with the other girls and my manicure came out adorable. read more

I have been coming to this location for the past 5+ years!! I have literally stayed coming back even through 3 different ownership changes! & yet I have never experienced such bad customer service than today's experience with the most current owner Lyly. Listen, I am not one to be picky about my nails but when I'm paying $100+ I expect to get what I like. The lady that did my toes literally left all the calluses on my feet, the massage was literally so half-assed she didn't even touch my actual feet just my legs, & she over cut my toe nails and when I asked for the shape to be super square I got a round "square." I asked for them to be corrected and another girl assisted me, but I was still not happy but she kept making excuses saying they were too short. Like of course they are too short, the messed them up!! I then ask for the filer myself and attempt to correct them, but there was not solving them, they were ugly. As I am paying and they are having troubles with Apple Pay I am looking at the price that I'm about to pay and I simply cannot leave without saying something. I ask Lyly (POLITELY) if there is a way that she can fix them as I am unhappy with the nail shape and the calluses and she blames me, claiming that I did them myself and she saw me. I respond by saying that I did not like them to begin with and took it upon myself to fix them & if I have to do them myself why am I paying her then?!!!!!! I ask her again if she will fix them and she ignores me! 5+ years coming to this location, I've seen it change names/owners 3-4 times!! & Lyly is the one that ends up losing me as a customer! She might not realize it now, but losing a loyal customer will affect her! I had to get home and reshape them the best that I could with the remaining nail that I had left to work with, I just hope they don't start to hurt for them being too short! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO NOT DO THEIR NAILS HERE! There are PLENTY of other nails salons that are happy to fix your nails when they don't come out to your standards bc YOU ARE PAYING $100's of dollars EVERY WEEK/2WEEKS YOU SHOULD LOVE THEM!! Rude ,unprofessional staff with no customer service skills. They rush through the services you get and get upset if you don't want gel polish. Instead of making sure customers are happy with the service they pay for they get defensive and start talking about the customers assuming we dont Understand their language. You can never assume because someone isn't your ethnicity that they don't understand your language. Not a way to run a business and not an appropriate way to act towards paying customers. read more

The salon is really pretty and clean, the staff was friendly, I asked for a full set, gel and one color and I was out the door in 45 minutes which is great! I am so glad I discovered this new nail salon! I noticed it when I was getting my daily Starbucks (same shopping center!). I was looking for a new nail salon because I was not happy with the salon I had been going to for quite some time (you know, when your acrylic nails start to lift within a couple of days, I warned them that I would not return if it kept happening... REALLY! Yes, they will be getting a bad Yelp after I finish writing this great Yelp!). This salon is literally 5 minutes from my house. I walked in and it was so bright and cheery and clean looking. Several TV monitors to look at, a variety of options to entertain you. But who needs to be entertained when the nail lady, in this case the owner LyLy, has a conversation with you while she does your nails. I am a talker, so I prefer to have a conversation while getting my nails done. That's how you get to know people!! LyLy was amazing! Super nice and friendly. And she knows her nails! She explained why my nails had been lifting (from the other shop) that it was how the powder had been placed by my cuticle. She told me that my nails should last 3-4 weeks. LyLy was very detailed, making sure my nails were shaped perfectly and also the same length comparing each hand. I decided on a crystal design on two of my nails. I let LyLy decide what she wanted to do and she did not disappoint! Oh, and did I mention the price??? Today I had my old nails removed (they were lifting anyway and I wanted a fresh start!), then a new set put on, beautiful Gel polish AND a crystal design on 4 nails. The price was very reasonable!! I paid less than I did at my old shop just getting a fill! I have received so many compliments on my nails! I keep looking at my nails and how beautiful they are. I am beyond picky when it comes to nail salons. I gave LyLy Soa and Nails a chance, and I LOVED IT!!! I got a gel pedi and a full set with gel. There were no surprise fees and no pain at all (some places I have been poked or literally bled). The price was way lower than I expected for the amazing service and nails I received!!! I have literally told everyone I know about this place and it's now my regular spot! Lyly herself did my nails and was so sweet and OCD with my full set (they were literally perfect!!)
