Cute and clean nail salon! Got a gel builder manicure with pinkish cat eye nails, as well as a basic pedicure. This was my second time getting nails done by Leena. I appreciate that she is meticulous with my nails, and takes her time. The first gel builder manicure I had with Leena back in April, lasted a month without any chipping! I really enjoy coming to this salon because it's down the street from my place. It's clean and they have a wide range of colors. However, there are some people I would avoid at all costs. I came here twice and left with injuries each time. I came here with my mom a month ago and I had a technician named Hana. She was nice and I had a great time talking with her. However, she gave me a cut on my ring finger because she was filing too hard. She also didn't cut my cuticles but shaved it while shaving my nails. She shaved so much that I have a red 'C' on my nails, and it hurts when I put pressure on that area. I can't get a manicure again until I grow out the damaged area. The ridge in the photo is on all 10 fingers. I brushed it off as one bad encounter and came back again. This time, I made an appointment with Tammy specifically for my mom. We sat down and Tammy wasn't the person helping her, it was Hana. My mom said Hana looked upset, was rough, didn't cut her cuticles properly, and even hurt her skin too. I'm a little disappointed that despite setting up an appointment and asking for a specific technician, they didn't even honor my request. My pedicure session was upsetting too. I forgot her name, but an older lady with glasses helped me. She snipped the side of my toe nail with cuticle scissors and was trying to yank that piece off - a part of it was attached to my nail bed. It hurt like crazy and I expressed multiple times that it hurt. She said it's because I have too much skin under my nails whatever that means. Im bleeding and there is a small hole where she tried to yank the nail. When she was done, she was rushing to get to her next client and walked into my foot in the process. I told her that the nail polish got ruined. She just dabbed it with clear coat, then said "done" and left. I just paid money to have 9 toes with nice polish application and 1 messed up one. Sorry, not posting a picture of my feet though (for free?). I understand the salon gets super busy, but I don't think I should be getting anxious when someone files my nails or uses cuticle scissors. The lack of care and concern was upsetting. I also felt dismissed when I expressed that I was in pain or when the service I paid for was ruined. Shout out to Tyler for taking care of my mom, he was gentle and made sure my mom was comfortable. I highly recommend Tammy for nails. She is meticulous and her work lasts for a long time. read more

Looking at the reviews I was expecting a nice relaxing morning going in for a gel pedicure. But it was not at all relaxing. The vibe was rushed and unorganized. The color selection is all over the place, they don't give time to look through the colors before the sit you to start service, the lady brought "a sample of colors" just a couple for me to pick from... none of which I liked but that was all I was able to pick from. I made an appointment online and walked in on a Wednesday at 12:45. They were relatively busy! I believe Chloe was the girl who did my pedicure. I got the #2 (I think deluxe?) with gel. She helped me pick a different color because my original one was too sheer HAHA. They also offered me water. I will say they keep the door open, so bugs fly in. I was the chair closest to the door and a bee landed on my leg (to which I swatted away but still). Overall, it was nice! I don't necessarily have as much other pedicure experience so for what it was worth, it was nice. read more

I had a great experience! I got a spa pedicure, which I rarely do. I'm super ticklish and more often than not, the nail tech hurts me. But Thu was very gentle, and while I did feel a little ticklish, I did not have any pain. Secondly, I got a regular gel manicure. I have never worn fake nails of any kind. I'm very lucky to have strong nails that grow really fast, so I've never needed them. I asked Vivian for an almond shape and chrome gel polish. She knocked it out of the park. My natural nails totally look like falsies. I have never been so happy with a manicure before. She was also very gentle and didn't cut me, like some nail techs have. I was just a transaction. I don't even know the name of the woman. She just said Hi and that was it. She didn't even know I was having the VIP herbal treatment. I had to tell her after she was done with my nails. My gel French manicure is already lifting after two days and she didn't even go all the way to each side of the nail. One of the items you get is the paraffin wax and she was "massaging" my hands while my hands were in the bag of wax. What?!?! And then all the wax was smooshed to my nails getting underneath them. Everything was going well up until asking if they could allow me to see a swatch of two colors I liked from the apres astral gel line. I was in between picking P04 Intentional and CE10 Major Arcana cat eye. The vibe was very reluctant or like my request was too much. I picked the P04 intentional color. That was not the color they put on my nails. When I said I think this is glitter and not what I picked. She said it was and that it was pretty. I thought I would get a chance to address the issue with the front desk. She never asked how my visit was and she didn't have change so I had to tip forcibly even without getting the color I wanted.
