Holly is a magician. If you've never had a Lymph massage - you don't know what you're missing. She has a lovely small room at a Salon Republic that's cozy and warm and has floor to ceiling velvet drapes, sea life projected on the wall and soft lilting music playing. This is instantly relaxing. Using various modalities (cupping, massage, hot stones, etc) she encourages muscles and facia to release whatever the stuck stuff is toward the lymph glands to drain naturally. You feel clear. Supple. Stress free. Lighter. Elongated. Relaxed. Balanced. Blissed out. I've had two 1.5 hour lymph massages with Holly and both have been amazing. The first one relieved the soreness and tightness I had been feeling for years in my hips and knees. i have maintained that feeling, but feel like regular lymph massages need to happen to keep my lymph system from getting backed up again. After posting my last review, holly reached it to me and offered to refund my massage and give me another massage myself that would be more in line with my concerns and I had a fantastic experience. She explained that the other therapist specializes in a type of massage that is really intense but some clients are looking for that experience. She said she's working on clarifying what the different massages are but the healing massage I got with holly was so relaxing and gave me all of the results I was looking for. My inflammation went down and my bloating and swelling accross the board drained. The massage was not painful in the slightest and super relaxing. She also gave me a lot of suggestions of how to deal with my bloating other ways. I can tell she really cares about her business and providing holistic care to her clients. I would definitely recommend getting a massage here and maybe getting in touch with holly first to figure out which treatment is best for your body. I had been looking for someone since I moved here in 2019. The other places I found didn't have the therapeutic experience I was seeking so I waited until I found Holly in March and I am so grateful I was patient!! At the start of each appointment Holly brings a calm soothing energy by creating easy conversation around a thorough client intake. She asks questions that build trust and lead to a more personalized and effective treatment. She also has a very beautiful way of demonstrating her knowledge of trauma without trauma bonding, projecting, dismissing etc. Holly is a valued reflection of empathy and understanding with her presence, the way she speaks, the way she listens, the way she responds and the way she empowers. She truly holds space so you can just relax and let healing coming in. I was not sure what to expect when I had my first session in March. Holly starts the session with some breathwork to calm the nervous system and prepare for gentle release. Her approach is subtle and deeply effective. She uses some manual and very light bio electric stimulation to awaken the lymph system, while calming the nervous system. She then uses suction to create Lyft and space in the tissues to foster drainage. The entire experience is calming and soothing, while being deep! She ends with a lovely facial massage and sculpting using this very refreshing cucumber oil. Throughout the session Holly uses essential oils to help ground, center and calm. The next day after seeing Holly is always amazing!! The birds chirp sweeter, the sun shines brighter and I feel lighter in my own body. After the first session I lost 6lbs. While weight loss wasn't my goal, it felt like weight I was retaining from trauma that needed to be released, so it felt healthy to lose that much the first time. Overall I felt like a tired little fish in a dirty fish bowl and after seeing Holly I felt like a happy fish with a clean tank! After experienced a traumatic even in 2016, my light green hazel eyes turned dark brown. The morning after seeing Holly they are bright green! I had my first Lymphatic Contour Massage with Susan this afternoon and it was GREAT! First and foremost Holly and Susan made sure I understood the massage and the procedure, explaining how the massage intensity works and possible results (ie tenderness bruising swelling etc). Luckily I get deep tissue sports massages pretty often so I'm used to having those kind of temporary results I felt incredibly informed before the procedure started. SUSAN WAS AMAZING and consistently checked in with me regarding pressure and density. It was such a different massage sensation and I loved it. After the massage, I immediately knew I wanted to come back and focus on my abdomen and legs more. About 4 hours later, my body still is a euphoric noodle with minimal swelling. I went to Holly for the Lymphatic Draining & Bodywork, because I have been holding on to fluid in my legs, hips, arms, face and chest (basically my entire body) due to auto immune issues. Other than eating clean and trying to sweat a lot, I didn't realize that there was a procedure to help get things moving. After a quick search on the world wide web, I found Holly and booked an appointment immediately. All I really have to say is "DAMN" - but that's not a helpful review, so I will say more. Immediately after having the bodywork (which is gentle, and relaxing), I could already feel that my legs weren't so heavy, and most stomach didn't fill so full. Today, I can see definition in my hips, legs, face and abdomen that I haven't seen in about a year. I can also see my lymph nodes in my hips, which makes me think they are working! Because I immediately felt so released, I booked three appointments at once because you can get a discount, and I'm so glad I did. I will be going back, and making this a part of my wellness routine. I feel like I've finally found something that helps me address an issue that almost nobody can see or feel but me . Holly is such an incredible healer. I went to her for multiple reasons my skin was inflamed because of a sluggish lymphatic system and she helped my skin so much after each treatment. Overall redness and breakout diminished from perioral dermatitis. I also have had some scar tissue from breast augmentation (capsular contracture) and she's really helped my implants soften by doing lymphatic massage to help with the fluid and inflammation and also some fascial work. I can't say enough good things about her. She's worth every penny and I always look forward to our sessions.
