The masseuse was great. There was off street parking. I've been to the other location in Silverlake. It's very bohemian and for some people it does not look very clean. It can come off as needing a really deep scrub everywhere. There's no privacy in the rooms. They're all curtains and so they pin the curtains shut, but you can clearly hear the person and the masseuse next to you. So you don't have a private feel. The price for 90 minutes including tip was $198. They had two small infrared saunas, but you walked by them on your way to the bathroom and there was no privacy for those people either. read more

I'm from out of town and booked The Rock Star, Infrared sauna with deep tissue massage with Wanda, and she was phenomenal! The place is aesthetically, beautiful, and really inviting and warm. I loved my masseuse as she was very tuned with my body, and aches and needs to working out the knots. Be aware that each room is not entirely enclosed, but rather divided by curtains so there is a bit of issue with noise, but not enough that it would bother me. The Turkish Soak, Scrub & Oil Massage 90 minute package was a perfect part of a birthday gift! Hello, Nice To Meet You: From the moment I walked in, at Noon, Gabrielle was incredibly welcoming & showed me around, even filming a quick videoclip & taking a few snapshots.(Thanks again!) She walked me over to the changing room & lockers & closed the curtain. I was told to change into the robe and slippers. Also, given a shower cap in case I didn't want my hair to get wet. Luxurious Milk Bubble Bath: Next, I met with Jasmine, my masseuse, who was welcoming as well & had a relaxing bubble bath waiting for me, along with soothing sounds of a fountain, relaxing music & low lighting. She left the room & I relaxed in total bliss. Smooth Sensation: Jasmine returned, told me to disrobe, au naturel, lie on the table face down & she would return. We booked a couples massage and we were able to get in quickly. It was for a morning week day, so I know that is always a little easier. We picked a 90 min deep tissue and enjoyed the benefits of the Thai style stretching and walking on us. I love a good Thai massage and the ambiance and employees were great. It was just what we needed and the whole thing was relaxing from start to finish. It is metered parking only, so make sure you have time to get a spot and pay. Massage therapist had no clue what she was doing. For 30 minutes she only touched my back, and I could feel her nails digging on my skin, instead of the pressure. After 30 minutes she ended up having an argument when I asked her to increase the intensity of the pressure. She brought her manager in the middle of the massage session as a witness, so that I don't complain about the massage later on. I feel like the massage therapist wasn't trained to provide such services: 1) you don't put pressure on spine especially cervical spine with your elbow/ or bony prominence. Massage muscles not the bones. 2) Cut your nails when you provide such services. 3) Ask client's preferences about the pressure and the area that needs to be worked on. 4) You don't bring your manager in middle of the massage session, especially when someone is partially naked or trying to get relaxed. Some of it was relaxing but then also was quite painful when digging in to my shoulders. Since I rarely get massages, and my shoulder get kind of tight, I figured it sometimes might be painful to get all the knots out. Afterwards, though, the pain definitely continued and in to the next day, where I am now taking Advil due to may back/shoulders still being in pain; hope it gets better soon. Just unfortunate to know feel like I paid ~$125 to get injured. Wife said hers was nice and relaxing but she didn't use enough pressure, even when saying they should use a bit more. read more

The Thai massage was great. The customer service was shockingly poor. When I walked in for my appointment the woman at the reception desk was eating. She didn't nod or acknowledge me. After she finished a couple of bites she finally looked at me and said, "You're Maya?" I said yes and she got up and pointed where I should go. Upon leaving I bought a couple of lounge pants and she told me, "We don't do receipts when you pay using the card you booked you're appointment with." I asked if she could email it and she could not. The very next day I went to return the pants as they were too large. A different woman at the desk did not greet me as she was on the phone. Not even a smile or a nod or a finger held up. Then she looked at me and said, "Uh you have an appointment?" I explained that I wanted to return the pants and she asked for my receipt. I explained what the woman the night before told me. She was surprised. And she was unable to access payment records. She asked me to wait and have tea while she called the woman from last night. She came back and told me their policy is to not take returns. I explained that I purchased just the night before. There were no signs posted regarding a no refund policy. I walked back to the front and there was the woman from last night. Again the refund was refused. They offered a credit or an exchange. I won't be back. read more
