We moseyed on in here on Christmas Day after walking off our lunch at Cha Cha Coconuts to find Tee dressed up as Cindy Lou Who! This was quite the welcoming and she was very kind to us. Of course I wanted a toy gator and a duck and she recommended some really good drinks to go with them. You can see these in my picture. Tee took the time to get to know us, was very personable and kind. On a normal day they do have food but on Christmas Day they did not serve any. They have bar seating indoor seating and outdoor seating. There's many cool things to look at throughout this bar. I highly recommend that you check this place out because it's very unique and you'll have fun. read more

My friend wanted to find a place with fish and chips in sarasota, on the Armand Circle. His wife doesn't like seafood. So we had to find something to fill the bill, and we came here. This is place is not something I would choose, it truly is a hole in the wall Irish Pub and very limited pub menu. I was along for the ride, and I do like fish and chips. Clearly, most of the patrons were there to drink, not eat, and were over their limit when we arrived at 5pm. We ordered 2 fish and chip dinners and 1 salad with a special request of blackened chicken placed on top. Not on the menu, no problem. Our waitress, Jordin, who is also the bartender, was amazing. She serviced the bar and tables with a smile and with unbelievable service! There was only one other person working there, and that's the guy at the grill. It's a two person show and it's amazing how they can pull it off. I was impressed and told my waitress/bartender she was amazing with her excellent service and positive attitude! Thanks Jordin!! It's unfortunate the food didn't measure up to the service, yet the fish and chips was far better than what I expected from the look of the place. The fish and chips were good, nothing spectacular, the french fries were okay and actually the coleslaw was good, very good. The fish and chips had more of a dry breading upon it, almost resembling something that you would bake in the oven. The portions were large, the price is overpriced, given the location probably; fish and chips $23.00. Refillable soft drinks $3.95. Pricing as of 3/10/2025. The surprising star plate was the blackened chicken atop of the salad. They should add it to the menu. My friends wife said it was delicious. Went there the weekend before St Patrick's Day looking for corned beef and cabbage. I was told they would have it in 2 days. I settled for fish and chips. It came out and the breading was so burnt, so I peeled it off and ate the fish because inside the fish was hot. The fries were cold. Pros - bartender with dark brown hair and British? (ha- funny for an Irish Pub) was really nice and social. She was friendly to my son and wife too. Cons - 1. this place has no A/C or fans, so it's very warm and humid & stale inside. 2. there was a musty / moldy smell inside. I'm assuming because of number 1 above / no air conditioning. 3. prices for either beer / shots / cocktail drinks are way overpriced. I understand it's Armand's Circle, but other places around this area are less expensive and more reasonable. 4. no tvs to watch any sports or any visual entertainment. 5. no jukebox to play any music on. So taking numbers 1 thru 5 above; you pretty much get served an overpriced drink and sit in a hot and smelly "pub" with nothing to watch, listen, or do. But at least the bartender is friendly. My grandson had to use the bathroom and couldn't wait, this was the closest restaurant and they would not let us use it even though it was an emergency unless we bought something I said fine. I had heard many'o'story about 'The Sisters' before ever meeting them and visiting their pub. Back in the day, before I was born, Lynches was on LBK, rather than Ledo (the circle). LBK were brats and moaned about everything... One time they complained about the sign being over the property line. The sisters eventually got up there and cut part of the sign off with a saw... It hangs on the wall in the current business. Finally in 2003, the sisters went to the circle and business is great. They do a great job taking servers in, teaching them, and then ushering them, now skilled, into the world. We visited for a little happy hour with my fiancé, the inlaws, and friends. We shared a smoked salmon nibble and enjoyed a few rounds of drinks. The pub was pleasant and staff were prompt, polite, and gracious. The sisters even sent dad a get well card when he was very sick battling cancer. read more

Seats are comfy. George was our waiter, if that was his real name. He didn't seem thrilled to have us BUT he was the only server on. The food wasn't the best but it was hot and filled a void. We were walking by and the menu looked good. Now, during this pandemic, everyone is wearing a mask. Once you sit down, you may take it off. There was Irish style music playing, even U2! Our server was very friendly and helpful. We ordered our drinks then took a look at the menu. I had an orange cocktail, which was made with vodka, citron vodka, triple sec and fresh orange. It was very refreshing! My husband had a smithwic, and it was good! They also offer a QR code to scan and see the menu on your phone. The menu offers typical Irish food, as well as burgers, fish tacos and chicken sandwiches. My husband and son each had a chicken sandwich, one was buffalo style and the other one was grilled. They both came with a side. They chose fries. I had the fish tacos and they were delicious. I also had fríes as well. The fries were seasoned perfectly and the portions weren't too big. We didn't have dessert, but they had a key lime pie and a red velvet cake too. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're in the mood for Irish food. The place had a steady flow of customers who ate and drank. The food looked good but I don't know for certain. This is our third try and each time the bartender is less than friendly. I thought my beer was rather flat , she went back and poured a small sample and just showed it to me. As the only bar in the circle, Lynches certainly caters to a particular crowd. A crowd that I sure love. Any patron or bartender that I have met at this establishment have been incredibly welcoming and nice. My wife and I recently purchased a condo on Ben Franklin drive, and have made this our recurring stop when we visit. Don't ask for an extra plate or to switch the cheese on your salad bc they either won't accommodate (the cheese) or they charge extra (the plate). I Love it ! A real Irish Pub. This was my first time there. The atmosphere is adorable. The "Sisters" are the best. I even met their brother Gus who was visiting from Ireland. Considering that it was a chilly and rainy night, I really enjoyed the cup of real Irish stew followed by a decent sized serving of hearty Cottage pie. Everything about the place is honest and endearing. They made me feel like I have been a regular for years. I can promise that I will be back. My only negative is that its a little expensive for a casual pub. I had a craft beer and a glass of premium liquor but they were a lot more than the same drinks at other local places. I do have to point out that they are located in a very high rent area so the prices may reflect their cost of doing business there. Again, I WILL be back. Amazingly nice people. read more

If you are going for small portions and high prices go there. The staff were pleasant but not protecting themselves with mask or gloves. The only take out place that had no concern of the existing virus. There are other restaurants to order from that great with mask and a smile.
