During his first training session an associate (called a "Sensei") gently guided him and then let him work independently. When our son had questions, they were there to quickly address them. When I arrived for pick up everyone was upbeat about what they had accomplished that day. That was over a month ago now and we are still going strong. We will likely even increase our membership at some point. I was scanning through the reviews and Janet M. incorrectly wrote that they charge $75 an hour? Wrong. We are pleased, the owners are wonderful and very involved with their clientele. This business is spotless and everyone is very careful to follow COVID safety guidelines. Want to try something new? What was doing the teacher at that time I have no clue. But I can tell that the environment is unfriendly and unsafe anymore. Super disappointed and upset about the decision to participate in their class events.

He is a very social kid, but not much of a sports player. When the postcard for Camp EDMO came home, I was sure he would roll his eyes, but instead he said he wanted to give it a try. He chose game coding and, day one, he was hooked! His group is creating a video game. It involves potatoes, so that's already funny! The activities, the staff, the general vibe, are wonderful. The counselors are so good at encouraging him to use his creative side to its fullest, and rather than try to change him, they have allowed him to be confident with who he is and how he thinks. That said, I really want to give credit where it's due because the owner absolutely made it right. He acknowledged that the last-minute cancellation was not handled well, took responsibility for it, and went above and beyond to make up for the inconvenience to our family. He stayed in communication with us, checked in, and made it clear that he genuinely cared about fixing the situation. Coach Linny was also fantastic. The kids really enjoyed working with her, and I appreciated that she made the sessions fun while still holding them accountable, keeping them focused, and making sure they were putting in effort. While the cancellation was frustrating, the way it was handled afterward made all the difference. Things happen, and mistakes happen, but what matters is how a business responds -- and in this case, they truly stepped up and turned a disappointing situation into a positive experience. The month prior to the party, we met at the site and walked the space to get a visual of where everything was going and all extra details. The day of the grad party, Erika and her assist, Suzy, arrived on time and ready to set up. We had ordered: entrance signage and balloons out front of the venue, five balloon bunches as table toppers, a large gold ring w/ balloons and a cream lounge chair, I even ordered tablecloths for the dining tables from Erika. The balloon gold ring back drop (for the photo ops) was SO adorable, everyone loved it. The table balloon bunches were perfect on the dining tables and the ribbons too, on the bunches were beautiful, many strings of ribbon and bows. It was beyond perfection and made the room so adorable. Erika and Suzy also came back after the party was over and gathered their items and helped tear down the balloons, which I really appreciated.
