During his first training session an associate (called a "Sensei") gently guided him and then let him work independently. When our son had questions, they were there to quickly address them. When I arrived for pick up everyone was upbeat about what they had accomplished that day. That was over a month ago now and we are still going strong. We will likely even increase our membership at some point. I was scanning through the reviews and Janet M. incorrectly wrote that they charge $75 an hour? Wrong. We are pleased, the owners are wonderful and very involved with their clientele. This business is spotless and everyone is very careful to follow COVID safety guidelines. Want to try something new? What was doing the teacher at that time I have no clue. But I can tell that the environment is unfriendly and unsafe anymore. Super disappointed and upset about the decision to participate in their class events.

He is a very social kid, but not much of a sports player. When the postcard for Camp EDMO came home, I was sure he would roll his eyes, but instead he said he wanted to give it a try. He chose game coding and, day one, he was hooked! His group is creating a video game. It involves potatoes, so that's already funny! The activities, the staff, the general vibe, are wonderful. The counselors are so good at encouraging him to use his creative side to its fullest, and rather than try to change him, they have allowed him to be confident with who he is and how he thinks. You're never too old for a craft party!…read more I realized that as I watched Lyndi spend an hour setting up the decorations and supplies for my daughter's Boho Crafts 13th birthday party this past July. She brought in beautiful tapestries and coverings for the sofas, scarves for the tables, vases and bowls and tassels and all sorts of bohemian pretties to dress up my home (I didn't want her to take anything back with her when she left!) The care she took in setting the scene really showed, and my daughter and her friends were completely in her thrall during the 2.5 hours she spent with them, walking them through two crafts: dream catcher and painted rocks. When the girls first arrived, they busied themselves with putting on some temporary gold tattoos, and then Lyndi gathered them around a circle tapestry where she led them through a calming ritual, and a focus on why they were there, to celebrate my daughter's birthday. They took turns talking about my daughter, being intentional on their friendship with her. It was so touching to hear them say sweet things about her (this mom may have shed a little tear.) They then had fun ripping fabric and choosing beads and feathers to make their dream catchers, and then selecting designs and paints for their rocks. She brings so many supplies with her, and is so easy to learn from...she has a calm and settled personality which is completely engaging. The time flew by, and I didn't have to do a thing! I spent the time with a couple moms who had stayed, and we ate and chatted our way through the time, completely relaxed. Lyndi puts together craft parties for all ages, so I am definitely going to set something up for my girlfriends soon!

The owners, Kyle & Emily, are personable, thoughtful, generous and people of extremely high character. Each one of my son's teachers has loved him greatly, and the staff in general has always gone out of their way to make us & him feel comfortable and taken care of. Not only are they warm people of high character, but they have been reliable, with clear communication, and highly educated in child development. He has adored his time there, and my husband and I feel such warmth in our heart for every person who works within those walls.
