Only problem I have with them is that most companies I've worked with will apply the service call fee (~$125 in this case) towards the actual repair if a repair is needed, and Register Appliance does not. Generally, the service call fee is to cover the cost of sending a service tech out when no actual service is needed--and maybe covering a very, very simple fix (like tightening a loose hose or something). In this company's case, this is not true. To be clear, I was informed of this when I booked them, so this was NOT a surprise, but I was also in a bit of a tough spot, as my mother needed a working dryer immediately.

He finally called and said that he emailed a company and was waiting for an email back. Then he said he was really busy between "50 calls a day" and an upcoming knee surgery, but he would let me know what response he got back. We never heard back. I later texted that we found a part and would replace it. Come to find out, that part wasn't even the problem!
