If I could rate a half of star if could. First off they do there walk through the day before, packers show up will some wardrobe boxes and some 2x2x2 boxes, and two 16 yrs old to pack someone posessions. These teenagers do not know the difference between a phillips and straight screw driver, they cant follow instructions. Looking forward to my claim in a few weeks when half of my valuables are broke or missing because my stuff is getting shipped in 1000 2x2x2 boxes. Ive never heard anything good about lynn moving from other Soldiers moving, should have put them on the do not use list. read more

UPDATE: The company name was "Lynn Storage/Moving" in 2020 (which has horrible reviews) and has since been changed to ILS Relocation. Upon further investigation, it seems that employees of the company intended to steal our items from the start. The weight tickets associated with our NTS showed that the weight of our shipment was taken over a full month after it was picked up from our HOR. The estimated weight was 2000lbs but the weight ticket indicates 600lbs. Based on the contents of the NTS, I think it's obvious that the weight ticket does not reflect the actual weight of our items. The 3 hardwood dressers alone would've been around 600lbs. They brought their offer up to $3600 based on $6/lb of the fabricated weight. Whereas it would've been $12,000 if the true weight was indeed (and most likely) around 2000lbs. We have since transferred this claim to the MCO and the MCO is offering us full replacement value (per the contract) - which is over double the final offer ILS Relocation provided. And this company is Veteran owned. Shameful!!! You can rebrand but if you refuse to be held accountable for actions in the past it still makes your company unreliable and untrustworthy. --------- They lost the entirety of our items crated for long term storage (military)! We are a military family and before being stationed in Hawaii 3 1/2 years ago we put all of our family heirloom hard wood bedroom furniture in long term storage with ILS Relocation. Since being stationed back in the mainland and requesting the release of our items back to us we have been notified that they cannot find our storage. It was my great grandmothers and I'm sick over it being "lost"/stolen. They dragged us along for 4 months with claims. They haven't been apologetic at all over losing our items and very argumentative in the claims process. For 2 full bedrooms sets of hardwood furniture, including: 2 bed frames/head boards/foot boards, 3 dressers, 1 cabinet, 1 desk, 2 nightstands, and 1 rocking chair their initial offer was only $550/set. Absolutely shameful. Do not use this company for long term storage if you ever want to have your items back! read more

Worst moving company ever. Arrived 5 hours late to pack, disassembled several things that never should have been disassembled. Promised me they would reassemble everything at the destination. Then they arrived 2 days late at the destination, and because they were late, they left about 80% of the items disassembled. Promised they'd send another crew to assemble everything, but after 3 days of waiting, we hired a different company to complete the job. This included assembling a piano they left strapped to a post inside our new house. Their VP lied repeatedly to us over the phone about getting another crew to our house. He also refused to give us a credit after we had to hire another company to finish the job. The language they used around my children and my wife was disgusting. In all my days (and I'm not young), this is the worst company I've ever dealt with. Please please please stay away! read more

I'm still waiting on delivery and considering the other reviews I'm a little nervous. Gentlemen were nice, but unprofessional in their language. They came unprepared for the task. I had a 500lbs tool box and they didn't have ramps. Their idea was to unload everything and then lower it out of the truck with two guys. By God's grace, another company was nearby who had ramps so they borrowed them. From the other reviews I've seen, it appears that my experience was far better than the poor servicemen who had the unfortunate experience of hiring this company. I most certainly would not go out of my way to use this company in the future. read more

Update: August 7, 2018 my son still has no furniture. Apparently it was picked up and left Lexington on August 1, 2018. Still has not arrived in Washington. Called Lynn Moving and they said it should be there. They said another company picked it up. I asked what company and Corey said he would have to check. Have not heard back tried to call and they are now not answering their phone. This furniture was picked up on June 30, 2018. Now not sure where it is. read more

WORST MILITARY MOVE EVER! Driver drove my HHGs across the country without a valid license and admitted to wrecking three times. I was continuously lied to by the general manager Alec Stevens who claimed that his driver was so incompetent that he drove 4 hours in the wrong direction and that's why he missed my delivery date. I think he stole that excuse from the movie "Dumb and Dumber." My shipment finally showed up 10 days late with about 70% of my stuff either damaged or completely ruined. The driver of course couldn't get on post so I had to find another driver to drive the truck on post for him. Alec Stevens lied constantly about the location of the truck and whenever I would catch him in a lie he would either blame the driver or said he misspoke. Apparently the truck broke down three times on the way out here but I am really not sure if it ever did. The driver of my shipment at one point left the trailer unattended in Mississippi and drove the semi back to Louisville KY before returning a day later to pick the trailer back up. As long as the current management is in charge avoid this company at all cost! The worst management of a company I have ever seen! read more

I really don't know where to start with this. I called numerous moving companies and was given many estimates on our move. Some took days to get back to me. But as soon as I called Lynn's, Brice was quick to get me an estimate. Their rates are great. He quickly got me on the books and explained every detail. So fast forward to this morning. 3 guys showed up to my storage unit right on time. Quickly loaded everything up and headed to my old apartment. They loaded the apt and said they had to go back to their warehouse real quick. About 20 Min later I get a call from the manager stating 2 of the guys were having problems and would not be returning. But he was sending out another crew to unpack my belongings. At that point John and Amanda Blevins and devlin and John Ireland showed up. They got everything unloaded. Devlin was in my crew all day and was amazing. He took pride in his work and was extra careful in wrapping all the TV's and mirrors. We ended up being very happy with the end result dispite the turmoil of the day. I just want to give a big shout out to this last crew for being easy going and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend this company if ur looking to move. read more

I hired this company based on a very nice, personable salesperson. He turned out to be anything but representative of this company. They estimated a move to colorado, and then charged me over twice the amount, holding my goods hostage until paid, despite the fact that only half the goods were even in the vicinity of the new home. The promised delivery on the 10th, and lied about when the truck left Louisville, saying it left on the 8th, when it didn't even start out until the 9th. It didn't arrive until the 10th in the evening, and even then only half of the shipment. The other truck arrived the next day, but the crew (I had been promised 6 people to unload) of three only worked a couple of hours before they quit, complaining, and semi-loafing the entire time. They returned the next morning, but one of three slept in the truck the entire day, and the other two were extremely non-productive, complaining the entire time about how hard they were working, and apologizing for the bad service. We ended up arranging for two local movers to help them, but as soon as they arrived, the contracted workers basically left all the hard work to them. Additionally, they had to wait until 1:30 AM to even get paid. They refused to come back the next day to work with this company. The next day, another two local movers were hired to assist, and again, the contracted workers basically sat back and had the local movers do the hard work. We now have been on the 4th day of unloading, and the truck is still 1/3 full. The goods unloaded are damaged,in some cases beyond repair, very valuable items that were promised to be crated were not crated, and were damaged in transit. Packing of the truck was atrocious, with no care at all to the goods being shipped. The parts to the grandfather clock, pool table, dining table, and beds have still not been located. The parent company is in Virginia. I will be filling a complaint with the public utility commission as well as a damage claim, but also plan to file suit for fraud, intentional misrepresentation, and punitive damages due to the intentional distress caused myself and my family. I also have incurred over a week's income loss as a result of this malfeasance. Never, ever, ever, use this company. read more

Ok, so they just moved me in July and it was one of the worst moves I've had done since being in the military 18 yrs. They missed a whole day of working, came late both days of packing and moving. No calls to let me know they were going to be late. Then sent two kids with no experience to move my valuables. We waited an additional three hours because they couldn't figure out how to move by sleep number box spring down down narrow staircase. They didn't list my biggest/ most valuable items on my papers and broke my box spring, and a few other things. They sent no one with experience to guide these young workers that could have cut the moving time shorter. The workers had a great attitude all the way through this frustrated move. Do not even attempt to file a claim against these people for broken or lost items if you have filed a claim against another company in the past for pcs moves because they hold that against you. We left Ft Knox with a fully working washing machine only to get a broken one at delivery. We waited several weeks for a repairman to come out and look at our machine where he decided that it was damaged in transit. Bonnie Montgomery is in the claims department and apparently knows more than any appliance technician and has decided that the machine didn't have enough damage for her company to take the blame - here is a blurb from an email from Ms Montgomery prior to the repairmans visit ----"They have contacted me and let me know that you are set up for the tenth. They are also setting up a third part to look at your washer. Once the repair firm determines the problem a decision will be made on the washer if they determine it non transit related the responsibility for repair on the washer will be yours. The mechanical condition of the washer is not known to the movers at any time so we must rely on the repair firms evaluation. Thanks Bonnie" Clearly that is a blatant lie. If Bonnie doesn't want to pay Bonnie won't pay. She also sent us an email from Southwest Resources where employee Kristen lied saying they spoke to Mr Appliance again and they agreed the damage couldn't be from the move. Ironically when you call Mr Appliance they have ZERO notes about speaking with Southwest aside from setting up the initial appointment but again Bonnie does not care about the truth. They also lost a box containing 324 dvd's we know this because we have a log of our dvd's that were in the case, a subwoofer, a pair of running shoes, laptop battery and cord among other items. According to Bonnie we should get 1/3 of the replacement value of the dvd's- won't even counter to cover 1/2, my shoes won't be replaced even though from the start of the claim I stated that things were not organized and we had all sorts of things in boxes where they shouldn't be and just for funs sake she won't even make a decision on one of the items so we can put this nightmare behind us. Our metal trash can arrived completely covered in rust on all sides - it was marked that it had a dent a stain on the front (the sticker from when we bought it never fully came off) and although right in their abbreviations there is an option to mark rust it was not marked, but low and behold Bonnie denied that too! And let's not forget that it took 7 weeks for her to help replace part of my sons crib that they knew was missing from day ONE and to get that accomplished I had to call QA at Fort Sam if it hadn't been for that call she wouldn't have even bothered to do anything until she decided the claim was done. read more
