Had a very easy consignment experience with Lynn's World. We are redecorating a bit and wanted to replace our two white leather couches. Not wanting to deal with trying to sell them online, etc. we came across Lynn's World. I submitted an inquiry online with photos and answered a few follow-up email questions and, voila, they were interested in the items! I opted for their pickup service which cost $100. The staff arrived right on time and moved the couches out and into their truck. I received an email with the contract details including the payoff amount and more information such as how the payoff reduces the longer the items are there, etc. I called back a month later to find the items had sold within 10 days. Great news! It was clearly noted in the contract that I would have to call and check if the items sold. They sent a check right away after my call and that was it. Easy! I have been shopping at Lynn's for a very long time. In fact, most of my furniture is from their store. In the old days Lorna would be my go-to person. She never once approached me. When I had a question about something I'd go and find her. She said she knew when I found something, I'd track her down. I still love Lynn's but it doesn't have the same feel without Lorna. (boo hoo) Some of the sales people now are either pushy or "too familiar" which I don't like. Also, they don't seem to have a lot of knowledge about their merchandise. But I still find that Lynn's has hands down the best in gently used furniture. Very high quality and not all banged up like some other places. I only have one regret and that is that I didn't buy two absolutely beautiful side table lamps. Oh, and that Lorna is gone. read more

Lots of mixed feelings tonight. My wife and I were shopping at Lynn's last October when she tripped over the only step in the entire store and broke her foot. No help nor assistance from the store staff whatsoever while I helped her out to the car. She's been bed-ridden for two months and now being the end of December, she's finally able to walk a bit with a medical boot. Loss of work and wages. Still a couple more months out till she'll be able to go back to work. This store is a hazard. Too much clutter and not enough safety protocols in place. read more

What can I say about my wonderful experience at Lynn's World consignment! ‍ Yesterday they were having an amazing 50% off sale and I seized the opportunity and splurged on my amazing finds! Not only do they provide a wonderful cozy environment but they also have complementary coffee to enjoy as you walk around the store. After only taking a few steps in the store my eyes locked on all these amazing things that I wanted I wish I could've taken the whole store. The staff is very amazing and are always doing their best to find you the best deals and give you the most premium discounts available. If you can't find what you're looking for they go out of their way to give you the best shopping experience and help you with any concerns or needs you may have. ⁉ They are very knowledgeable about the products that they sell and offer to bring your items to your home for a super low fee. Which is wonderful because I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to fill up all the stuff in my time Prius! Update- - - - - I've been in here several times since my original review. They truly do have unique pieces at a great price. The variety works well for my sense of style. I called ahead of time looking for Angela but she wasn't on schedule. I was ready to shop so I popped in anyway. I found great pieces once again. I left with a console table, several vases and decor pieces. We also found a large piece of artwork to go on our massive walls at home. We didn't have the space in our car to take it along so they will hold it. Another thing I love about this place is that they offer reasonable delivery with courteous personnel. I might chose that option. Anyway, I was helped by Mona. She is a new associate. She's just as sweet as Angela. The owner also assisted me with several things at the register as well. Overall, it was a pleasant experience even without Angela helping us. It's only fair to update the public and update the business about my happy experience. Original review- - - - - Angela is the best! She took so much time working with me and my husband and attempted to get us everything that we wanted. She even walked the floor with us to locate pieces that could match. We were actually getting ready to leave until we started engaging her. She is the prime example of complete customer service. We just moved to Nevada from California into a new 5 bedroom home, but we only have one bedroom worth of furniture. Angela's assistance has now fixed some of that issue. I loved working with her so much that I have requested for her to keep an eye out for additional items that I didn't see on the floor but desperately envision in our new home. She has a great eye for detail and we've informed her on our personal style so I'm sure she'll find great items that we will love. I give the business 4 out of 5 stars because there were several other female workers just sitting around that made no efforts to assist me and my husband, then when one of them saw Angela working with us she came over and interrupted our conversation. The best consignment shop in Vegas! This was our most pleasant and productive experience in Las Vegas, on the hunt for nice living room furniture at a fair price. Selection was incredible, well laid out and the sales staff excellent. Made up our minds, leather couch and 2 recliners and out the door in 30 minutes. If I moved to Vegas I'd be able to furnish my house here in a heartbeat. Not to be missed are two totally creative bathrooms created by an artistic employee and owner. Real magic happened when I was leaving to rent a truck to go 3 miles. I joked with a stranger pulling up next to my car asking if I could use his truck. He asked how far I was going, then said sure . WOW! Soooooo impressed, we actually got GREETED when walking through the door, and with A SMILE, where do you find this these days! The selection was off the chart and nicely arranged especially for having so very much. To top off my fist amazing experience was meeting EVELYN! There were floor associates roaming the many, many aisles but while looking at all the baubles and small treasure cases, clearly involved in paperwork, stopped what she was doing answered our many question while opening allllll the glass cases and then went walking up and down the aisles answering more questions. Evelyn was so friendly and passionate, it was like being with a friend. While paying for purchases, coming across JOSE, noticed no matter how often the front doors opened, he never missed making you feel welcomed to their gigantic store. Way overpriced! No service. Establishment is unkept . I put a sofa and 2 chairs- 1 yr old - paid 8,000.00. They're selling them for $2200.00. Unfortunately during the consignment process there were several mis-communications that resulted in incorrect consignment agreements. I was quite upset and sent a letter to the owner's of Lynn's World. I was immediately contacted by owner Merra Cordier. She was compassionate, kind diligent and professional. Unlike many and most business owner's today who are only concerned about the bottom line, her over-whelming desire was to "do the right thing". We came to a mutually satisfying resolution and again her professionalism and dedication as a business owner was so refreshing and welcome. I just need to get something off my chest right now. I know this review is long but please bear with me to the end. I've been upset for two days now. I have been going to this store (also known as Purple Chandelier) for the past 13 years, since we moved here from Northern California. I'd visit the old location also and found the owner and clientele to be lovely. A few weeks ago I found a dining room set with chairs that I LOVED. I was buying china that day and asked the sales girl, Gigi, if she would ask the owner/manager if they would be willing to separate the set, as I didn't have a need for the table. She was supposed to call me back the next day, but didn't, so I called her and she said no, they weren't interested in doing that. I returned to the store on Sunday, September 11th and was greeted by a great salesman named Kevin. He asked what I was interested in and I showed him the chairs and told him that I was told several weeks before that they couldn't separate the set. He asked me to wait and he went to speak to the owner/manager, Ted, who said he would separate the set and gave me the price, and I said, "sold" and thanked him very much. I asked about the "Hold Policy" and they said 24 hours. I told them I just wanted my husband to see them and that he was working but we would be in before 5:00 on Monday afternoon. He put a Hold sign on the set and told Gigi that I would be in Monday. I left and then returned with my granddaughter to show her also. Kevin and I spoke again and I said I'd return on Monday to buy the chairs. I was elated. Now for the good part. I called in the morning, spoke to Gigi again and told her we'd be in when my husband got home. When we got there, a women named Marilyn approached us right in the area where my chairs HAD BEEN. SHE SAID THAT SHE UNFORTUNATELY SOLD THE SET AND THAT IT WAS ON A TRUCK TO CALIFORNIA. In a matter of hours after having been there for several weeks, quite a coincidence, right? She admitted that she saw the hold sign, "but it was only on one chair" she said, and they only hold for 24 hours. At which point I told her that it wasn't 24 hours yet and that I called Gigi to tell her we would definitely be there. I was really upset, almost to the crying stage. She was very condescending and said there was nothing she could do. I've worked in sales and in several consignment stores for years and was always taught that customer service was a big factor in the business'es success. Where Ted and Kevin were so helpful, Marilyn made me never want to deal with the store ever again. I believe she was lying to me and probably had the opportunity to sell both the table and chairs together and didn't care about the Hold Policy. Why have one if it's not going to be followed. It's really sad that she would sell it right from under me for less than $200 more. I'm old fashioned and believe that when someone says they are going to do something, they do. Marilyn obviously didn't get the integrity gene, I feel really duped. I really hope that Ted sees this as I believe he should know what happened. Karen T. read more

One of the items I had put for consignment on July 20 appeared to be "lost" but then miraculously found in "broken". To make things right the clerks that were helping me agreed to pay me the original price for the lamp, $59.99 as good will. When Ted was advised of their decision he came out to inform me that he never would have agreed to give me the price that Lynn's had appraised it at. His attitude was demeaning and he insinuated that I was taking money that I was not entitled to. After today's experience, I would rather donate to charity than do business with Lynn's ever again. First visit, I was greeted by a very friendly staff, I really appreciate the hand holding and very helpful staff. I'm just acquiring a home and needed a lot. What impressed me was how keenly interested each staff member was, I like mid century modern and they had some unique pieces, in the end I ended up spending two hours there and managed to get 3 bedroom sets, living room and family room pieces,,, delivery is only 50 dollars and in my case for a truck load that's a deal. I'm Afraid to go back, dangerous on my budget, I was impressed the diversity of furniture, all good prices. We found so many unique pieces and the staff, especially Kevin, were very helpful and attentive. Prices were very reasonable and their immense selection is amazing! They are so much more than a 2nd hand store - their furniture and household items are, for the most part, of very good quality.
