I think Alt Rebel sometimes is good for buying unique items if it's priced right but selling your clothes, here is not worth it. I've sold items here twice and you're basically getting ripped off. I understand they need to make money, but it's just a really bad deal if you are a seller. What makes it worse is if you have brand new items to sell, they still price it too low and you're practically giving it away at that point. I had some brand new Zara items with the price tags attached, a leather Ibrahim bag, spanking new Jeffrey Campbell leather heels that I never wore and a very detailed quilted dress from Anthro that I only wore once. For all of these items and more I was only given $119 and that's just ridiculous! Basically, if you're a seller, you are literally maybe getting at the very most about $8 to $15 per item, if that and it's a joke. Everybody knows that going out to dinner costs about $100 these days, so with $100 you can't really do much. I personally would not recommend selling your very high price luxury items at Alt Rebel. read more

I highly recommend this establishment. The staff are super cool, fashionable, & offer great customer service. And their selection of clothing, shoes & accesories is sick! I like that the store is clean and organized. It's not like your typical thrift store where everything is all over the place. The staff is okay, they weren't the greatest, but also not the worst. I think they could have been more welcoming to the customers especially the ones who staff the fitting room area. Cost for some items aren't bad at all. You can find some brand new items with tags still on them for cheap and then you'll come across some that's just not worth what they priced them for. Overall, it was a decent experience. My favorite place in the arts district to shop! They have the coolest stuff, very good pricing. Sometimes I'm even shocked how cheap it is for how cool the item is! Also I sell my stuff with them sometimes, you have to schedule far in advance but it's worth it, they give you a very fair price for your items, which can either be store credit or half of what they offered you in cash. Found this place on Yelp. During my work conference, I made an effort to visit this place. I booked a local e-bike and biked over to Alt Rebel. Located in a very hip art district. I felt safe locking my bike up. The shop is very clean. I found a top that I'm actually wearing today and got a compliment! The staff allowed for me to try it on, no questions asked. Very cool, all their items are pre-washed in order to sell you a clean item. I like that and never heard of other re-sellers doing that. Consignment type shop. Buy and Resale type of store. This place definitely has some pretty good finds as far as style and quality- but the price tag on the items is pretty steep. So is it really a find? I like how they specify between authentic and replicas on the shoes. The store is nice. It's a whole vibe in there with the music and the decor. Simple but effective layout. I love this store go here pretty frequently but every time I visit one of the employees (Rachel) is always so rude and gives off the worse energy, I've had friends come here and also say that she always has attitude. The downtown area is really getting busy with yet another new thrift clothing store. This store sits right on Commerce Street and easy to find. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon where there were all kinds of thrift businesses set up. We perused the store and my daughter managed to find a cute top. I liked the art that was splashed on the walls by artist Dray. Busy store with lots of shoppers. They are looking for trendy and 90's clothing. If you have any, bring it on down to sell. There are men's and women's clothing here along with shoes too. When in the area, be sure to stop in and check it out. read more

I've really tried to give this place more than a few chances but they are always unfriendly and NEVER greet you when you walk in the door. Their clothing and shoes are overpriced, especially their designer handbags. The one thing that annoys me the most is their Instagram page. They post videos often and it seems like they make fun of their customers in a lot of the videos...mocking customers when they're disappointed or unsatisfied. I found that to be pretty tacky. I've had my business for years and would never dream of doing something even close to that. When I was vegas, we hit up this store in downtown. Lucked out and found street parking right outside the store(went in the late morning/afternoon). They had an interesting selection of merchandise. Wayy better than the ones back home(none of the basic,typical stuff you find in most stores of type). After sifting through the racks and taking in the store(I mean,look at it) I found a couple pieces of clothing to try on. However, it's the structure that I think can allow a customer to feel a bit more absorbed into the clothing and miss the ambiance of the space. VALUE: 4/5 The pricing here is similar to Buffalo Exchange, however their selection is far smaller. I will say that they have a superior in store credit system which can pay you significantly more for clothing. Just again, much smaller pickings. I called a few weeks ago to confirm the men's styles they were buying. I didn't want to make a futile trek downtown. The gentleman answered with "Yes, we buy men's Lululemon and Bonobos." So I scheduled an appointment and the soonest was a week and a half out. I thought, "Can they really be that busy?" I arrived on time for my appointment -- still thinking it's a bit weird to make an appointment to sell clothes. But whatever. The guy who helped me said it'd be 30 minutes or so for them to get back to me. Within 5 minutes, I was called by another guy and he said they won't take any of the clothes. Let me be clear: I understand that these establishments have to make money and they're particular about what they buy -- that's not the problem. The problem I have is the gentleman who answered my telephone call a week prior told me incorrect information. I suggested to the guys at the counter to advertise what brands and styles they're currently buying. This would save many folks the trek downtown. But perhaps that's what they want -- people in their store. Bad experience and won't return. Also, the store was not busy so that whole appointment thing is unnecessary. Buffalo Exchange doesn't require appointments. read more

Alt Rebel is one of the best thrift stores in the downtown area! Everytime I walk in I'm greeted and welcomed by staff, great indie music is playing, I always feel so comfortable shopping here. The staff is super friendly and easy to make conversation with! I love the 90's grunge inspired look and feel of the place, even the clothes they sell is reminiscent of the 90s. Its like Depop... but better!The prices are jaw dropping, its unbelievable how affordable their stuff is for how trendy and in demand they are! The owner is genuinely the nicest person I've ever met, and adds to my list of reasons to keep shopping here! This is my new favorite store hands down, and has only been open for about 2 months or so. It's all recycled clothing and accessories, and the items in there are truly unique and different, some vintage and some more contemporary, and the store is female owned! Major bonus points. THERE IS ALSO SOMETIMES A DOG WHO IS SO SWEET AND CUTE. My very not into fashion partner has slowly been getting more into it, and I took them here to find some new clothing pieces. I think we've gone 3 times now and the items they've gotten are so wonderful and in perfect condition. The store is well decorated, good music is always playing, the prices are fair and reasonable, it's so well organized, there is so much light in the dressing rooms, a sale rack, and you really won't find more than 1 of each item which makes it way more fun. I've now gotten 2 shirts and an epic dress I feel so wonderful in there. Downtown Vegas is quieter lately due to covid, which makes parking easier (hooray!) and easy to social distance. The store is open 12-6 everyday except I think Tuesday, and I'll be back there ASAP to score some unique items and keep dressing my new fashion forward partner up.
