JMarie Skin Studio is located in Prospect, South end of Longmont. Very easy to find and lots of parking outside of location. When I arrived and walked in the door, the spa smelt amazing! They have essential oil candles burning and defusers running and it was so pleasant and welcoming! The lobby is very clean and organized. With COVID the staff collected my name, number and temperature and then had me fill out the once a year new client paperwork. It was about 5 electronic pages and completed quickly. My appointment started and Jessica was very informative about what I would be experiencing. I felt comfortable and heard. My lovely boyfriend arranged for me to have the Hydrofacial (medical facial) with dermaplaning, UV light treatment and an Immune Boost IV!!! This is the tip-top package of the facial experience. My man is a keeper, that's for sure! During the process Jessica took the time to explain what she would be doing next and each step was so satisfying! This amazing experience also included a hand paraffin wax treatment! All in all, I have made a follow-up appointment for an aromafacial and a FREE CONSULTATION with Charlotte about laser treatment that is highly recommended for my skin type. Thank you, Jessica! You're fabulous and I can't wait to have my next treatment!

She did not mark the points to inject, nor used rubbing alch9l to clean my face. She also did not ask if I wanted a numbing cream. I also asked for fillers for my smile lines. I went along with it then went home. 2 weeks passed and I as the other lady stated here, I did not see any difference. I reached out to Jessica letting her know. I went back in and she again injected me. Once more nothing came of it. In fact things were worse. I again reached out and she initially said to come in and she will take another look. We'll, by now I was upset and cried over the state of my face considering I spent 1500.00 to get this done. She proceeded to ask me if I was suicidal. I found this to be out of line and unprofessional. I did not go there to get my head shrunk but Botox. She finally said I need to find another injector for she is not the right one. I had lost my job so this was all I had and I wanted to put my best foot forward when going out to seek employment but she would not fix the issues she created and I am out a lot of money and my face has more wrinkles than when I started. I would NOT reccomend this med spa to anyone. She will not fix the problem she created nor refund your money. DO NOT GO TO "Rewind Med Spa" in Longmont. RUN. !!!!!!!!!!!

Though it is a tiny price to pay for two wonderful and healthy children, the journey to get my…read morestomach/abs back to a place I feel confident in has been a long one! My abs were always one of my best assets but after two c-sections in my late thirties, things were very different. After my first daughter everything was fine but after my second I had moderate-severe diastasis (a little more than two fingers width apart) and an umbilical hernia. I figured eventually things would go back to normal with diet, exercise and some targeted core work. I worked out diligently and lost most of the fat off of my stomach but the "pooch" of my abs remained stretched out and just wouldn't go down. Prior to babies I worked in the aesthetic field so I was familiar with all of the different devices and though some helped with skin texture/laxity nothing made my stomach or waistline come back "in". I did physical therapy with a diastasis specialist for 10 weeks, met with two plastic surgeons about tummy tucks (which seemed way overkill for what I wanted to address), and finally met with a general surgeon who told me he couldn't do much aside from repair the umbilical hernia and that I should just 'accept my new body and embrace it'. We are our own worst critics, after all! I took his feedback into consideration and decided against surgery but I continued to struggle with the lack of core strength and the issues that caused. I love to workout and lift weights but nothing was the same after two c-sections. My abs were separated, yes, but they were also cut apart twice and if felt like my lower abdominals just weren't awake. Without being able to fully brace my core I was wobbly and my body tried to compensate by transferring weight and force to my knees, hips and lower back which resulted in many sore nights and trips to PT and chiro. I had heard about Emsculpt years before but in August of 2021 heard from a friend that it really helped her get strong again in her core. I got the package with Dermatology Center of The Rockies-4 total, 1 every week and I cant say enough about what a HUGE difference it has made. I started out on a very low level for my first treatment--the abs near my incision weren't even awake and the sensation of contractions for those lower muscles was very odd but by the end of the first treatment I could tell that things were "waking up"! By the second week we were able to go up quite a bit and I was a little sore afterwards--a great feeling. By the third treatment I felt very strong and after the fourth I noticed an extreme difference aesthetically but also strength wise. I was back to feeling strong!! The treatments do not hurt and there is no downtime. I brought a book to read and the team at Dermatology Center of the Rockies was very attentive during the treatment. I came back after 2 months for my follow up pictures and I am absolutely thrilled. What an incredible treatment to have that does so much aesthetically but also functionally.

I asked about the cost of burning some lesions and she mentioned it would be 5/$75. She did not say that was cosmetic only and that pre-cancer lesions were different. My wife and I counted the times Dr. Warren burned lesions off each of us. It was 5 or less for each of us. Long story short, I was charged for 15+ lesions removed (none of them cosmetic apparently). The communication purposefully deceptive as Dr. Warren knew we were concerned about cost. Upon receiving the bill, I protested and received the map of lesions removed. There were 6 in one spot (one burn, six charges)...none of them communicated to me or us. BE AWARE, Dermatology Center of The Rockies billing practices are dishonest and unfair. They over bill the insurance company thinking the patient won't worry about paying the difference. So sad.

She informed me that it addresses almost every skin issue and that it would require 4 laser treatments. [The aforementioned interactions were conducted through email; she had not evaluated my face.] Wincing at the price of the package, she suggested I apply for a credit card. Because I was unwilling to go into debt over such treatments, she said that I could pay for half of the package at session number #1 and that the rest is to be paid at session #2. Because that seemed more reasonable to me, I went ahead with paying for the first 2 treatments. The first laser session triggered my rosacea quite a bit, but I was still game to keep going with the work being done. So I went in a month later for Session #2. This time resulted in somewhat less inflammation, but I saw zero results a month later. In fact, my face seemed slightly more dry and lined. I was beginning to wonder if I was just an atypical candidate that shouldn't be wasting my money on treatments by this particular laser. Since the treatments barely hurt and the sessions took all but nine minutes, I went in again for another sess. Yet again, a month after session #3, I observed zero improvements plus irritation. Hence, I requested a refund for the fourth session. "I don't do refunds" was her reply. So I asked if I could get some neurotoxin in my glabella and maybe a product instead of the final lasering. "I'll do the glabella" was her reply. Okay - no product for me. The value for what I had paid was not exactly equivalent to the amount of neurotoxin she was willing to inject, but I took what she was willing to give. Flashback a bit to session #2, when I was due to pay for the 2nd half of the laser treatments. It was an especially icy day outside. For safety's sake, I thought it would be wise for us to reschedule. I contacted Michelle by phone to which she assured me that it was safe outside to drive over. Feeling nervous, I asked my future ex-husband to drive me over to her location in his SUV, because it has a 4-wheel drive. He shook his head in disapproval, but he agreed to take me anyway. As he and I headed over to Michelle's business, he remarked "Amy, this is really NOT a good day for people to be out driving. Of course that woman told you to come anyway - she knows that you're giving her over 800 dollars". In addition to the laser, I had undergone what is called a "medical facial". All seemed fine until she placed this blindingly bright light over my face that apparently goes with the protocol. Even with my eyes closed, it created an upsetting burning sensation in my eyeballs. I just sucked it up and figured that this is what her other clients must go through, so it must be fine. During this portion of the facial, she never came back in to check on me. "It will get better" was what she said as she left the room. For me, it did not get any better. My eyes were watering. I became concerned about my vision being impacted, so I wiggle my way out of the offending apparatus. [I had just been at the ophthalmologist's office prior to the facial, but I am going in again to have him reassess the state of my vision.] Next, foolish me STILL trusted her enough to have her inject neurotoxin into my face - mainly into my masseters for bruxism. When she rang up the price, it struck me as a rather expensive bill. She informed me the neurotoxin supplier had increased its prices. Okay, I could understand that; inflation is ubiquitous, right? Well...the next morning, I awakened with tremendous jaw pain and a headache that wouldn't cease. I was perplexed because I had been treated many times before, with marked improvement; so this was an unfortunate first for me. Because I was in agonizing pain, I contacted Michelle and mentioned the pressing issue. She informed me that the issue was "breakthrough clenching". I then asked to come in for a touch-up in that area because I figured that I just needed more units to be injected in order to resolve the pain. She said that she was booked that day, and had an opening in a few days. For relief, I then requested a prescription for the interim. After all, she is a nurse practitioner, so she had the authority to prescribe medication. "I don't do that" was her reply. I can understand not wanting to prescribe an opioid, but she wasn't willing to prescribe a muscle relaxant or any high-powered ibuprofen. She suggested that I massage the area. Note: Don't expect her to provide you with adequate neurotoxin program points either for services rendered by her.] With all this in mind, I determined that it was about time that a critical review was published about her business. She claims that she has never had an issue with a client before. This is unlikely to be true; I believe it's just that no one has yet published a review of their negative experience with her. Do not let the nice lady persona fool you.

First off, I called to see if I could get in early (I had gotten off work early). The woman working said no, the woman I booked with - the owner - wouldn't be there early. So I opted to do some errands. When I came out of the errands I had three missed calls & a message from the woman I originally talked to saying the woman I booked with wasn't going to make it but she could do it but only if I got there early. What? That was super unprofessional. I really wanted the appointment with the owner, but I needed the treatment so I got there and started. The woman seemed flustered (which I expected since my treatment was pawned off onto her) but did a good job overall. She smelled like smoke, I could tell she tried to hide it but I could still smell it, so that gave me a pretty instant migraine. She was really nice & attentive but overall the whole experience turned me off. She did discount my service which was nice, but I probably would have asked if she not offered since the whole experience with the appointment was kind of a mess. I never got a phone call, email, text, or message from the owner apologizing for not making my appointment or any offer for another treatment discounted with her. I'm not sure I would have gone back. So overall the microderm treatment itself was nice & the mini facial following was nice. The tech did pretty intensely squeeze a bump on my face that later turned out to be a broken oil gland underneath my skin, my dermatologist wasn't too happy it was squeezed so intensely after seeing no results in the beginning.
