The woman who answered the phone seemed confounded by my request and said I needed to sign the contract and send it back. I explained again that I had questions that needed to be answered first. He also let a lot of water drain out onto an unpainted plywood floor with was aborbed into the plywood and took days to dry up. He complained about heat in the boiler room and how small the space was to work in. Finally on day three he was connecting thermostat wires to new boiler when he discovered some prior service tech had wired three of the 4 zones to one zone so now when a thermostat is calling for heat all zones are activated to reach the temp that zone 4 is set at. He claimed to fix this was too time consuming and complicated and he had other customers that needed his services so he left without ever setting up another appointment.

Since he did the work, every aspect of the system related to the job is functioning well. He procured replacement parts for me and his markup was such that I paid only the same price I'd have paid at the store on my own. Ecker Electrical is a small electrical contractor from Trumansburg. He was extremely informed of code knowledge. He really helped navigate some of the issues that were very very concerning regarding my old house in my old old wiring. And on a serious note that I had a coworker who who died tragically in seemingly electrical fire recently so it made me extra paranoid, extra urgent. Like I said, Tim was great just giving us all the issues, risk factors, preventative measures we should take. Just seeing fires going around from old electrical work you know it made me feel very secure to have someone who is very very knowledgeable and can anticipate problems. he was great to work with. He actually had his truck breakdown and he came in like like a superhero on a motorcycle just kind of cool and you know you got everything done, coordination with other trades, he worked around every little hiccup, hit his deadlines even though he had a lot of challenges, so I really appreciate the work in the meeting those goal, especially coming from a small business, It could be extra challenging, logistically. My experience with Hubbards Plumbing went from a 5 in 1988 when Hubbard installed plumbing in my…read morenew home, a 3 summer 2013 and now 1 star. 1988 Hubbard installed the B vent in home carpenter did not finish B vent correctly code officer passed all work in my home and according to Hubbard the Code OFficer did not do his job. 1988 two months after home finished tub installed by Hubbard in bathroom where the B vent was staring at Hubbard yet not a word that it was unsafe. The next 26 years Hubbard maintained all plumbing: low flush toilets ( B vent staring at Hubbard while installing toilet), sink, hot water heater and all plumbing maintenance. All those years the B vent was not finished correctly yet Hubbard never informed me of this error on builder part. April 2013, I requested a bathtub be installed and was scheduled for June yet called and never got a service call appointment. May 2014 home inspected for sale Chad Hubbard arrives and tells realtor and buyers : it is noted the B vent is a fire hazard, not code compliant, and potentially noxious fumes. Chad Hubbard states " as you see Anne I cannot state all is well when there are several life safety issues" When a plumber ignores "several life safety issues" in a home that he has maintained for 26 years I question how safe my family and friends are when doing business with Hubbard Plumbing.
