We stopped by Läderach at Sawgrass Mills while looking for a Father's Day gift, and it turned out to be such a lovely experience. The store is beautiful, cozy, and impeccably clean, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. We were offered samples, and the milk chocolate with hazelnuts was absolutely delicious. My older daughter is very picky and was looking for something special. She wanted strawberry chocolate, and one of the associates (I wish I knew her name!) kindly suggested a milk chocolate bar with strawberries and tiny crispy pearls inside. My daughter absolutely loved it! That employee was amazing--so patient, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to her for making our visit extra memorable. Another thing that impressed me was the packaging. Everything was wrapped so beautifully and felt very luxurious. The sturdy paper bag with the Läderach logo, the elegant tissue paper, and even a complimentary greeting card made the whole experience feel extra special. It's those little touches that make a difference, and I really appreciated that they included all of it at no additional cost. We ended up finding the perfect Father's Day gift, and Dad loved the chocolate too. Where do I even begin with Läderach at Sawgrass Mills? Do I start with the free chocolate hazelnut sample they casually hand you when you walk in, like they are not about to ruin all other chocolate for you forever? Or do I start with the store itself, which looks less like a mall shop and more like a chocolate museum curated by people who take cocoa very seriously? Maybe I start with the smell. Kerry was the associate that gave me excellent customer service when I purchased some chocolate here. He explained about all of the different chocolate they have and let me try two pieces. He explained that all the chocolate there has been imported from Switzerland. It was all yummy. I purchased the cappuccino chocolate and the dark chocolate pistachio. Every time I pass this chocolate shop the well dressed man holding the tray of fresh milk chocolates asks if I want samples and if I'm allergic to nuts. Well I'm not allergic to nuts but I'm trying to watch my figure so I can still fit into the mother of the bride dress in a few months. Dang, so I ate a big sliver of chocolate and it was so smooth and delish. Then I ate two more and probably gained a half pound. The slabs of chocolate and the chocolate covered cherries looked great for gift baskets. I'm gonna try to walk around this shop next time. read more

The overwhelmingly strong scent of fresh chocolate pulled me in to the store while shopping at the Sawgrass Mills Mall. As soon I walked into the store I was pleasantly greeted by the two employees. I was given a taste of the fresh chocolate hazelnut which was amazing. Numerous chocolate gift items on small display tables for mid-high prices including large heart shaped chocolate for $17.00. Also, large chocolate bunny rabbits and big sheets of various chocolate that can be broken into smaller pieces for sale. You can definately taste that the Swiss chocolate is high end and worth it. Laderach chocolate company is a fabulous candy store in the Sawgrass Mills Mall in Sunrise Florida. We frequent this mall and love this store because the chocolate is so good and they let you sample to see what you like. Our associate we use every visit is Chardonnay ! Chardonnay is such a nice person and an excellent sales professional. She keeps us updated on the latest arrivals and breaks down the ingredients in any flavor we ask about. This store is a home run and blows away the Godiva store that use to occupy the same space. All the chocolate does not have any peanuts . Again this store is fabulous and the chocolate keeps you returning. Chardonnay is a fantastic representative of this company and an expert in the products. Definitely 5 stars read more

Not being one to indulge in sweet offerings in general (Salt & Straw ice cream excluded), not to mention at a shopping mall, I am blown away by the chocolate I have now been introduced to at Laderach Chocolatier Suisse. I say save the calories for the good stuff....make note, this is the good stuff. Our friend we are with this day said we should stop in knowing we have never had it before. Sales ladies behind the counter are friendly, easy to chat with about the chocolate, quick to offer a general sample and/or samples of any of the giant bars that lay perfectly stacked in the display cases separating us. One bite and I know this is probably the best chocolate I have ever had. Dark chocolate is my jam, so I am now looking only for this. I am then sampling all of the dark chocolate options that sound appealing to me (pistachio and dark chocolate, caramelized hazelnut and dark chocolate, raspberry and dark chocolate). Are you kidding me? This chocolate is ridiculously delicious. I know that one could say that about all chocolate in general, but I saddle back to my point of "save the calories for the good stuff." Clearly made with exceptional ingredients based on some coveted incredible recipe from Switzerland, this chocolate is fresh, pencil size in thickness from the big bars they are snapping off our samples and purchases from and am advised will be good for up to 3 months (but who is kidding, our purchases will probably make it 3 days before entirely consumed). This stare is large and has an entire side full of pre-made up Valentine gifts and boxes that I have not even looked at because I cannot pull myself away from the display case and the samples and my taste buds have exploded with happiness. A great place to buy a gift for someone or an indulgent gift for yourself, this is clearly a higher end chocolatier in the world. A gift from here says something about the person giving it. The fabulous aroma of fresh chocolate just draws you in when passing by in the Sawgrass Mall. I was cheerfully greeted by a Chocolatier Associate named Chardonnay. She was very knowledgeable and professional. Once she gives samples and you begin to taste she describes what flavors you maybe experiencing as the flavors satisfies your palate. The selections are endless and while they are constantly changing there's something for vegans as well to ensure there is never a dull chocolate moment . The ingredients are authentic, fresh and flavorful. By far the best chocolate experience I ever had!! It's sad that Godiva had to close due to the pandemic but at least we have this option. Do I prefer it over Godiva? No. But is it good and high quality chocolate? Yes. The Swiss say it's the best. But then again it depends who you ask. There's also Lindt at the mall, which I prefer over Godiva anyways. But all I can say is that I haven't come across any luxury chocolate that isn't good. I love them all. I think anyone looking for a gift or just to treat themselves need to stop here at least once and buy some. But if you're a Milka or RitterSport kinda girl like me then there are two kiosks inside the mall that have them. Idk for how long Läderach will remain here but I hope they stay long. Cheryl seriously needs to work on her customer service skills... She's very unfriendly and maintains to make customers uncomfortable for unknown reasons. She offers very poor customer service. She seems to give an unwelcoming and lethargic personality. She doesn't recommend anything after I asked her for suggestions on types of chocolates. I'm guessing she isn't passionate about chocolate. I don't think she practices safety food protocols since I saw her use her cellphone and then touch various chocolates without washing her hands nor using gloves while attending a customer.
