If I could give more stars I would! Mark and Glenn are the best. We had a big maple break off a few huge limbs in our back yard during a wind storm last weekend. They were quick to respond, actually came and gave me a quote about an hour after talking to me. This was impressive because everyone was backed up big time after the wind storm that came through. They didn't try to BS me into cutting down the whole tree, and they took a brush pile of stuff I had in my back yard for a year away as well. Don't listen to the post about the neighbor complaining about them walking in their yard, it was my fault! I didn't tell these guys to look out for the 3 square feet of new grass that was down, but I immediately roped it off and the grass is fine. The property line is confusing and I don't honestly know where my grass ends and the neighbors' grass beings. It's right in the pathway to the gate on the side of the house. No harm no foul. The price was great. I got a few quotes and they were the best. Service to match. I would call them back in a heartbeat if I ever need them again. read more

Glen came over and was very knowledgeable and gave me a very reasonable quote for cutting back a very large Spruce and some overgrown evergreen bushes. The only ones that came out and looked at the tree that needed trimming. Others said just send a picture. The last time I had a tree trim those guys didnt want to climb the tree. The people with M and H had a guy in the tree trimming all the dead and broke branches out. They cleaned up after they were done. I will call them again if needed. read more

I had two trees in my backyard removed a couple of months ago. I am happy with the result. The tree stumps were also grinned down as well. These guys do what they say. Of several service providers I reached out to they were the most responsive of anyone. I have three enormous trees on my property. They brought out a bucket truck and also had guys dozens of feet in the air on ropes trimming. They cleaned everything up and their crew was all very nice. I have literally never met Glen or any of the crew but they have come to my home twice (once to take down a dead tree and once to trim a tree) The work ethic of Glen/this company is refreshingly professional, very communicative, articulate and knowledgeable. I called originally very early one morning in early June 2018 looking for a tree service to get rid of my dead tree and they were the only service that answered the phone with a smile... bright and early in the morning. So I do have educational & hands on experiences in both arbor/botany sciences as well as construction. For I'm a licensed scientist, & so actually do know some things about trees. Second, my Dad & I completely gutted & remodeled my large hm, both inside & outside framing, siding & roofing, from ground up. So trust me when I say you do not want to hire these clueless "tree gorillas", for that is what they truly are. My neighbors' 30 ft maple, that borders on the very edge of my property, had lost one of it's primary trunks in a windstorm, since it had never been trimmed, fertilized nor had any routine watering in over 25 yrs. So 12 M&H tree gorillas show up at 7:15am & rather than ask what pathway they should take to the backyard, they stood & walked all over my property in which it was VERY obvious that new dirt & grass seed had been planted. Then when I confronted their supervisor, "Mark", at first he completely denied it. But when I pointed out the many significant boot prints & offered to show him my properties' videos, he could no longer continue lying. Yet still, he never even apologized. Instead he goes on a yelling rant and begins mocking my 100 ft beautiful, bi-annually fertilized, trimmed & routinely watered Elm that is in my backyard, calling it a "weed". Yup, I'm not kidding. For if you're stupid & don't know what you're doing, you then attack & bully people that then confront you about your stupid. Second, this maple that had already suffered significant damage with the loss of it's 1 trunk branch, but still had one extremely large, trunk extension protruding at a 70 degree angle & of course the tree gorillas did nothing with that, because again, they know nothing about trees. As a result, my friends & I are now making bets on when that will break & cause damage to their property as well. Personally, I have used DLC for years, as they are true tree arborists & not a fly by night, clueless & unprofessional outfit that M&H is. read more

In the past, we hired a different company to trim some bushes on our property and they did a below average job at a much higher price. M&H has extremely reasonable rates with outstanding results. M&H Tree Service is HORRIBLE. DO NOT USE THEM. These guys definitely DO NOT do what they say. Several weeks ago, they agreed to remove a number of trees from my property. The work included two small trees in my side yard that needed to be removed before May 22nd so another contractor could put egress windows in my basement as scheduled. Well, after trying to track M&H down for the past week to finalize a date, "Glen" finally called me today and said they cannot do the work until mid-June. They would not even come by to remove the two smaller trees in the side yard. Absolutely horrible customer service. read more

I am impressed!! H&M's presence was very reassuring when trimming and cutting down the bushes and trees in my yard. Mark briefly explained what he could do for my yard. He knew what he was talking about, didn't take action until he got a A-OK. The team did everything that I asked and more!
