My neighbor recommended Royal Tree, and we saw their excellent work. We have had them out twice now and have no complaints. The first time was to clean up a huge Maple tree stuck between a fence, deck, and shed. They were patient and took their time to ensure nothing surrounding the tree was damaged. The second visit was over five years later to take the same Maple tree down. Again, they brought down the tree safely without damaging the surrounding structures. Brock from Royal Tree came out and made the process super easy. He was professional, knowledgeable and the quote was far more reasonable than the other company (services included removing a small dead aspen and pruning two large and four small trees). Royal Tree showed up the day of the appointment on time, performed the services promptly, and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. I would absolutely use these guys again. EDIT: As further validation Royal Tree was the right choice, the other company showed up at my house this morning to 'start services' even though I did not commit to, schedule, or confirm any sort of appointment with them. They were flexible to my schedule and came by after I got home from work so I wouldn't have to make a special trip during the day. They were fair and honest and gave me the lowest of three estimates. We scheduled the work for the following Friday. They showed up as scheduled and got right to work. They skillfully cut down two trees that had dies on my side yard. After they were done cleaning up they walked around my property and we looked at my trees. They made some suggestions on some work I needed to have done and gave me some ballpark estimates that were much lower than I expected. I'm sold on these guys. After a thorough search we decided to have Royal Tree Care take care of trimming a large tree hanging over our roof and removing a small choke cherry tree. As part of our search we were looking for a company that demonstrated an understanding of how to properly care for trees. We got estimates from multiple companies including handy men. Nick demonstrated the knowledge I was looking for of how to properly care for our trees. The quote for the work was reasonable. Nick took the time to explain multiple options to us with no high pressure or scare tactics employeed to convince us to spend more money. In fact Royal Tree's quote was about the same as the handyman that doesn't posses the knowledge of arborists. Plus the handyman estimated the job would take him three times as much time which also spoke to the fact that hiring licensed arborist was the best choice for us. Nick and Brock arrived exactly on time, completed the job flawlessly and left our yard in better shape than when they arrived.
