We obtained a quote for removing a few trees and shrubs, and trimming one smaller tree in our new home back in March of 2023, along with a handful of other quotes from other companies. We were on a strict budget as we were trying to fix up the home. We ended up choosing the lowest bid from a small company, deciding to not have the tree trimmed, only the two large removals. I removed the shrubs myself, and we decided to wait and use a more experienced arborist to trim that tree later. Fast forward to 2025, we are now shopping for a professional and experienced person to assist with our tree. I called on a Wednesday and spoke to Chelsea who told me she would speak to Dillon and follow up with an updated quote. No follow up received as of Friday, so I called and left a message. Dillon calls me back all huffy and puffy, and told me they aren't going to waste their time coming out for one tree (we are 11 miles from their office) , and suggested that I call whoever did the job two years ago. I've contracted Neighborhood Arbor care for 4 different jobs over three visits: 1) Apple tree fell on my house back in April and they came out because it was an emergency and took care of it at no additional charge. In fact when Dylan came out to do the quote in early April he identified that our apple tree was ready to fall on our house. Amazingly, Dillon had recommended the apple tree be removed less than one week before it fell in my house!!! Great people to do business with from start to finish. I had them remove a large old seedless Cottonwood that was dying in my backyard in the winter. Then I just had them back to grind the stump and plant a new tree for me today. They showed up when they said they would they did the work very efficiently and at a great price. These guys did an amazing job taking down two extremely large old blue spruce trees and trimming another huge tree in my front yard. They showed up on time completed the job cleaned up everything. They did all of this for me at a better price than I was quoted a year ago from a different company. We did get five bids using the Yelp functionality to initiate those bids, that was a handy feature of Yelp I didn't know about. Dillon did come out and had the most competitive bid so we accepted it. Given the wind storm we had in the north metro area Dillon was super busy so he came out ~ 8 weeks after we accepted the bid. I wasn't able to be at the house the day he arrived but my wife sent me photos and said that he was very accurate in how he took down our ash tree in the back yard. There were multiple possible points of damage if the tree wasn't taken down carefully including our shed, two fences, the house, sprinkler system and the lawn. I'm super impressed with how cleanly he took the tree down, it was a 24 year old ash tree with Dutch Elm disease so it was ~ two stories tall and pretty full. I see no signs anywhere that the tree was even there as he did do the stump grind for us, more importantly the cleanup they did was great. I can't recommend Dillon enough here, he did a great job for us. read more

We had a quote for two trees in spring 2020 but due to covid and losing my job I was only able to afford one tree. We had them trim one tree last spring and we're very happy with the results so we had them do our second tree this year . I expected a huge increase in price when they agreed to come back out to do our second tree but they did not change the quote from 2020 which would have been for just a light trim. We had them do a complete prune. We will continue to use them again as needed . They also took excess branches/brush we had lying around from limbs that fell and an old Christmas tree which I did not expect them to do . Very happy ! read more

This is one of the most professional businesses I have ever dealt with for lawn care. The entire team was extremely polite. Their prices are very reasonable, whereas the other quotes I got were on the side of outrageous. Not only did they remove a dead tree and prune another, they were very respectful not to leave a big cleanup in the yard and deck area. Like the earlier review stated a similiar experience, I called for an estimate on several large tree trimmings and never received a call back. I would have been fine if they let me know they were too busy or simply not intetested. I was given their name from co worker who stated they had done a decent job with reasonable cost but i will never know. I had a great experience with Neighborhood Arbor Care. There was a great challenge with some elm trees in our backyard. Neighborhood Arbor Care worked with us to eliminate the problem and coordinated around our fence company, as well.
