They did not hesitate to call and look further into helping me in my time of need ! They called John to assist them with getting the lock lug nut off. John arrived no more than 10 minutes later to save my day ! He was able to get the lock lug nut off and get my spare tire put on in no time ! When I tried to give this man money for his troubles he wouldn't take it ! Good people still ! I can't thank this man enough for his kindness ! I will certainly be giving this shop my business for my future car needs !

He was kind enough to run some tests and examine things under the hood and make some adjustments. Mike shared patience and made sure I was comfortable understanding the conditions of my vehicle while giving me advice and recommendations on how to go forward. I live in NYC but am frequently traveling to the north shore of Massachusetts. I came in to State Automotive because my rear suspension was making some squeaks and I wanted to repair it if possible. During the inspection, which was incredibly thorough and documented VERY well, they found a control arm issue which was critical for safety. The squeak issue is actually not a safety issue and I would need to find the part from a third party as it isn't made anymore and getting it pulled at a scrap yard is not a good idea. Andrew couldn't find the part anywhere and I learned this is a common issue on these older Audi cars. The repair to the control arm was done quickly and at a very good price - especially considering the extra consideration Andrew gave to the issue. He gave me a lot of helpful information on how to address additional issues (or not) and was honest about the Car's prognosis. Lastly- worth mentioning that Andrew and his team provide fantastic documentation: a breakdown of all the car issues, photos of the key problems, and a print out for the missing parts needed to repair. If I keep the car and it need more service while I'm in MA, Andrew and his team will be my first stop. Highly recommended.

I left to do a few errands only to have the power steering go on my return trip home. I thought if I phoned AAA they would definitely come and end up towing the car - leaving me stranded and of all times it was the holiday .. So I thought, just try to get home. Tuesday morning I phoned the closest repair shop to me - which is Main St Auto..it's very close but with my health being what it is now too far for me to walk. Rami asked if I could get the car there but not to worry - he would help me get back home. How kind is that! With all the muscle I've got I managed to get the into his parking area. He explained he would go over it and call me. He was truthful in that the actual work probably wouldn't be completed the same day... I saw how busy they are and definitely understood. I was just grateful I could get the car there & the opportunity to have what was wrong repaired. And just as he said, he gave me a ride back to where I live..... He phoned later in the day with the diagnosis along with an estimate of the cost. I felt the price quoted was definitely fair. So yesterday late morning he called and said it was all set. Then asked if I needed a ride to pick it up - I did. He was here within 10 minutes with my car. We drove back, settled the bill and I drove back home - steering perfectly. This was an awesome experience! I was a new & desperate customer and Rami was so kind. He definitely went out of his way to help me and the work done so well. From now on I will be bringing my car there for service !!!
