I brought my truck in on Monday morning at 8 am as agreed. No parts as of Wednesday. He had torn the motor apart and told me his supplier refused his credit card and did not send him the parts. He then made excuses for his lack of follow-up for not having the parts. When I questioned him on Wednesday why the delay, he told me I was "pressuring him". I told him to put the motor back together and not to do any more work on it after seeing how he did business. He got angry and claimed he would never work on another 2020. He told me they "had made changes" on the 6.2 motor. I would assume a guy who owns an auto repair business would be aware of any changes on vehicles three years old, but not Kenny. At no time was he apologetic about the delay and his lack of follow up to get the parts. He had assured me on Friday the parts would be there on Monday and that the job would be finished within three days. I picked up my Sierra Denali on Thursday afternoon just before he closed his shop. I was charged for tearing my engine apart and putting it back together again with no new parts for improvement like we had originally agreed upon. I would have been much better off taking my truck to the dealership in Oxford. Live and learn.

Before that I used to bring my vehicles for the past few decades to my uncle who lived nearby in Reading. He was one of the most knowledgeable mechanics you could ever meet. Not to mention being reliable, fair, and honest. He was known far and wide for his reputation. After he retired I started bringing my truck to Kenny's for repairs. I have to say, I never met anyone else besides these two guys that could compare to my now late uncle as far as their workmanship. They tell you what your vehicle's diagnosis is, and what you need done. Period. No pushy add-ons that you don't need, no inflated repair bills because of this or that. After the work is all done they call you up and tell you over the phone exactly how much it's going to cost right down to the penny. If there's another issue concerning your vehicle they might find, they'll let you know and what your options are, there's no pressuring you like some other chain repair establishments I won't get into. I couldn't believe how fast they got around to fixing my vehicle, and how decent a price for parts and labor they charged me. These guys will treat you right, they don't talk down to you, and they won't give you the runaround. When you find a great mechanic as they say, stick with them.

His team looked the car up and down -- and found one thing that was going to fail. They never find "extra" problems that fatten their wallets. They know that they're going to do well if they're honest. They fixed that one thing, which would have gone. And I'm back home, in fine fettle. No place is going to be completely perfect -- but we have taken three different cars to them, never had a follow-up problem, never had a bill that seemed unreasonable, and even had him tell us on a number of occasions that he could fix something (and he could!) without an expensive overhaul. Autobahn is fantastic and the service is excellent! More expensive because they don't use after…read moremarket products, but definitely worth it. They offer rides if you're local if your car is going to be a while. Victor helped me both times I needed work done on my car and it's always been a very pleasant experience. Very communicative and friendly. Kelly is also super friendly too. They even have resident birds and turtles - very unique for a mechanic shop. Hopefully, my car is done having tantrums but if it has another one, I'll 100% return here.
