After a test ride and a mechanical check I agreed to purchase the vehicle. After signing the papers the salesman took my new car over to the gas station and topped the tank off. A couple weeks later the car started making some funny noises with one of the belts. Even though I had signed an "AS IS NO WARRANTY" with Summit Auto I called them up and told them of the situation. The salesman I talked to was genuinely shocked I was having problems and he immediately called their mechanic and set up an appointment for my car. A few days later my car was in the shop and fixed at no expense to me whatsoever. I think they went way above and beyond in my situation and put in the extra effort when they were not even required to do so. I was very impressed and would purchase another vehicle from them again.

I've been eyeballing this sweet little Dodge Ram number from The Source window the past few months…read more Last week, I finally just said "I want it, I'm going to get it." Pulled into the lot and got out to look at it, and the mileage on the truck is HIGHER than the website by about 3k miles. No big deal, I'll ask about it. Salesman comes out and asks if we've got any questions, to which the conversation goes something like this: Me: "How long has this truck been on the lot?" He stares at me blankly for about 10 seconds then acts like i'm an idiot, Him: "Why! How would I know that, I've got 140 cars on my lot, we have no way of knowing. I don't know how long it's been here." I was kind of surprised at his rude attitude I'm from Hawaii, salesmen have always been way OVERLY friendly and helpful to find information and sell you something as soon as they could. I said "oh....ok" and he said "if you have any more questions just ask" and walks off!!! I like salesmen in general, I want an item and someones' got to sell it to me! BUT if they get defensive and can't answer a simple question about an item I had cash in hand for??? I wonder what they've got to hide on that lot. I don't trust this dealership. I actually stumbled across All American by chance, saw a perfect Dodge sitting on their lot and took a look. That's when I met Ken, who was absolutely the most relaxed, down-to-Earth guy I could have run across. Went out of his way to make it clear that he was about "zero pressure" and was there to help me if I wanted or needed it. Test drove the truck, grabbed his card, and the following day he worked with me to significantly bring the price down to what I intended to spend; also making arrangements to add a topper and rack (which I required). I immediately took the 1999 truck to a mechanic for an inspection and discovered it to be in the same perfect condition Ken had assured me it was. I've never purchased a used vehicle from a car lot in the past, but after this experience, I wouldn't hesitate in checking with Ken before buying anything in the future. For the price I paid, it is really everything I was looking for and significantly less than anything equal being sold by private parties.

I walked in at -EXACTLY- my appointment time to find nobody at the counter and a lady hunkered down to the left of the service counter in a call center. I looked over in the office just to the right of the counter to see a gentleman sitting with his back against the window talking with someone else sitting inside. I waited . . . for a few minutes. Made eye contact with the woman in the call center. Nothing. I waited a bit longer, awkwardly and impatiently, and finally she says "He'll be with you shortly." He wasn't. She -FINALLY- got up and walked over to knock on the door and tell him that a customer was waiting, at which time he wrapped up his conversation and moseyed out to ask . . . "What can I help you with today?" This, in and of itself, was an absolute customer service failure. But then when I got the video and associated pricing for the fixes, my jaw dropped. $80 For a cabin air filter? This is a part that costs under $20 and can be replaced in less than one minute with ease. $80 For wiper blades? Further, the all-in pricing was over $2,000 and included a fix for a timing cover leak AND a valve cover leak - which I declined to get the opinion of another mechanic. My hunch was correct, and he confirmed that it was NOT in fact two different leaks, but rather one that was visible in two areas. The repair was completed for under $300. This is not my first horrible experience here, but it will be my last.

I'd give zero stars if I could. They charged me $165 to diagnose a couple issues with my truck…read more Long story short. I put the truck on own lift and busted them in several lies. They were going to charge me $3305 for repairs, most of which I absolutely did not need. I went back in with photos and invited anybody who wanted to see for themselves to come to my shop where the truck was still on the lift. They all declined my invitation. Dave Heckeroth, the shop manager couldn't refund my $165 quick enough. He got me out of there as fast as he could and wouldn't even discuss it with me. No apology, no explanation, just walked me to the front desk, instructed the young lady to refund my money and quickly scurried back to the shop. How many people have they ripped off? I wish everybody had their own shop with a lift. Most folks are totally at their dealership's mercy. It's criminal and pathetic! I should call the police.
