Thank you for a beautiful Jeep!

We were so lucky to get this beautiful Jeep! Couldn't have a better experience. Thank you!

Auto Nation service print out of fix from Flanagan's damage.
    Kilo W.

Unfortunately, I would never recommend Flanagan's to anyone. They damaged my car several times and in the end, the owner, Shannon Flanagan told me to pound sand because he didn't believe I could prove it. This is what happens when they are one of two Mazda dealers in the area; the other being in Billings. Mazda Corporate investigated and determined that Flanagan's behavior and response was completely uncalled for an unprofessional. Mazda had the damage Flanagan's caused repaired at another dealer outside of Montana. My first interaction with Flanagan's was in January of 2017 for a fuel pump recall. Shane, the technician did not correctly hook up the fuel pump so the car would run out of fuel at half a tank. There was no way to know this. This left me stranded in a snow storm in negative weather for 3 hours at night on the 93. When I called the next day some person, who still in an unknown, yelled at me and told me I can't prove anything. I told him he's being ridiculous and my car needs to be fixed. He then started yelling at me claiming that brand new Mazda's have failing fuel gauges all the time and that this is common. I told him he is a terrible ambassador for the dealer and for Mazda. It took over a week of communication to get my car back down to Missoula from Kalispell to have Flanagan's fix their mistake. I had an upstream 02 sensor replaced by Flanagan's. This was also a mistake. The first one was installed incorrectly and tugged on which ruined the wiring. Making a brand new OEM part non functional. This was another wasted trip from Kalispell to Missoula and back - and it cost me a part. Eventually, after a couple more weeks of communication I got my car back down to Flanagan's to have them once again fix their mistake, with another OEM O2 sensor that I provided. I also requested to get the now non functioning sensor back. At this time there was also a safety recall regarding the front lower control arms. Flanagan's incorrectly performed this recall not only damaging the front suspension of the car but they broke the rear control arms. They actually told me that sometimes the control arms on Mazda's will break when you put the car on a automotive rack to lift it for servicing - they think people believe this garbage. When they performed the front lower control arm recall, they installed the camber parts incorrectly and did not torque anything in the front end. This caused everything to move and loosen as the car drives. This not only reflects the quality of their work and ability but this is dangerous and a lawsuit waiting to happen. In addition to the above, my car was making a rattling noise (yet another new noise from Flanagan's) that was, once again, not there before Flanagan's touched it. I stopped in the parking lot of a Post Office, put my phone to record, got out, opened the hood, and I found a hook that Shane, the technician, had left in the car. Shannon Flanagan told me that I couldn't prove it. So I sent him the video of the hook in the engine bay. Shannon told me he confirmed that Shane was missing his hook and that I could keep the hook - this is when Shannon told me to pound sand. So, I contacted corporate and presented everything to them. Corporate had my car inspected at another Mazda dealer outside of Montana, and that dealer repaired my car. In short, you have two service advisors, Rob and Kris, who are nice...at first. They are nice until you point out that they broke your car. Then they start raising their voice at you over the phone and tell you that you broke your car. Which is completely absurd. You have a technician who is, apparently, certified but doesn't perform like it...he may just not care, which is also likely since they are the only dealer around. And you have an owner that thinks he can get away with ruining peoples cars because he is the only dealer around, who also thinks that the customer isn't smart enough to document anything. All a dealer has at the end of the day is customer loyalty and all Flanagan's does is insult their customers and ruin their cars. This is what happens when they are the only dealer within 8 hrs in the state. As Mazda said, don't be surprised if there are other local dealer popping up in Montana. I have all communications and service records for anyone that is interested - happy to help people out so they are not going in circles dealing with a dealer that tells you the suspension on cars randomly snaps when they are put up on vehicle hoists, or fighting with a dealer because the dealer doesn't care enough to perform quality work.

If you're looking for a new car then Flanagan's Mazda is perfect. No run around like the awful Toyota dealership.

Lithia Ford of Missoula diagnosed it was the rear wire harness and they would have to special order it. After two weeks I called to inquire about the status and was told it wasn't in yet. Three weeks, no parts. So I called another Ford dealer and asked them for price and availabilty. 12 were available in the warehouse and it would be $409, at my door in 5 days. I was hesitant to rely on Lithia Ford of Missoula's proper diagnosis of the faulty part and didn't want to shell out $400 on a non-returnable part. Four weeks after the "special order" and I call Lithia Ford of Missoula again. "Oh, it just came in today." I made an appointment for 8/21/2025. Harness was installed in about 45 minutes. My vehicle sat in the parking lot for over an hour while I waited for the technician to finish the billing. When he hands me the repair order it's $1135 - $995 in parts and $180 in labor. I was understandably shocked. The technician then asks me to give him a glowing review of his fine work. I told him I don't work for free either. I purchased the lifetime oil change at the time I took delivery of my vehicle when purchased new. I refuse to step foot in this dealership ever again so I buy my Rotella oil at WalMart and do it myself.

(Edmunds has a price history so you can see if it has gone up or down.) Joseph asked his manager and called me back with a yes. He also asked if I was intrested in financing through them but we had our bank working on it already. They sent all the paperwork to our bank with out a delay. We signed with our bank and the purchase agreement with Lithia. I had to book a flight to fly in from Salt Lake City and asked if they would pick me up from the airport. Joseph said he would be happy to when I land. My flight had issues and was delayed by six hours. I called Joseph and let him know and he said that he would be happy to pick me up from the hotel the next morning. Next morning comes around and he picks me up. We finish up paperwork, the truck is washed and filled up with diesel fuel. Most dealerships don't fill up the fuel on used vehicles but it sure is nice when they do. Small gestures go along way especially when you are spending a lot on a vehicle these days. I will definitely be buying from this dealership again if I am ever looking for another vehicle. Joseph, thanks again. Dan

The guy that checked me in was extremely busy and was apparently unable to find any information of the appointment I made over the phone 4 days prior. Was not busy by any metric that I was able to observe. Sales floor was completely dead, 6 other people came and left the waiting room before I did. If it wasn't for the free oil changes I get, I would stay away from Lithia CJDR in Missoula. To top it all off: somehow they f***ed my rear main seal and now it has a leak. It didn't leak before wasn't leaking when I dropped off the key but now it's leaking. Great job Lithia, you literally did an oil change the worst anyone ever has done it.

WARNING !! DO NOT GO HERE !! EXTREMELY INCOMPETENT !!…read more My van was fine before it entered the shop. Now, its been months of stress, thousands of dollars, and countless lies over the phone and I'm left with a vehicle that STILL needs repaired. They replaced the engine belt and 4 weeks later it flies off on the highway. I was told it would get fixed the next day, and then it was the next day, and then the next. All lies. It took them 3 weeks to replace it a second time. And they charged me $1,600, claiming the alternator was unbalanced and needed replacement. This has never been an issue in the past. They installed it wrong, and instead of fixing it promptly, they wasted 3 weeks and gaslighted me into paying them more money. When I finally get the vehicle back I discover the AC doesn't work. I immediately called them and they ignored my phone call. I submitted a formal complaint to corporate a month ago and still nothing. What is wrong with these people? How is this a real business? My experience has been nothing but lies, deceit, incompetence and frustration. Do not take your vehicle here!

A True Master Class in Customer Service!…read more My vehicle broke down after 5 PM on a Wednesday while I was traveling home (2.5 hours away). Megan from the Service Department happened to still be at work and told me to get my vehicle as close as possible to them. She said they would take care of the rest, and they truly did. Thankfully, I was able to safely limp my truck in, right around 6 PM, even though the Service Department had officially closed at 5 PM. We already knew from the code that it would be a long, expensive repair. Megan and her team assured me they would get my vehicle in first thing the next morning. At 9 AM the next day, I got a call: My truck was ready! And not only that the repair cost was WAY under what it should have been. Their priority wasn't just fixing my truck; it was getting me safely home as quickly as possible. They sent me off in a clean, repaired vehicle that runs exceptionally well, and with a level of care and honesty that guarantees I'll be purchasing my next vehicle from them without hesitation. Thank you, Megan and the entire team -- you have no idea how truly grateful I am to have found my way to you!
