We have used Janaina's Cleaning Services twice. Once at a 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment we were moving…read moreinto (where the new landlord handed it over super dirty) and second at a tiny studio I was moving out of. At the new apartment, they did an ok job and missed a couple locations (the half bathroom, medicine cabinets, and laundry area) but we were satisfied enough because we just wanted to unbox our things and move in already. We still had to clean the microwave and stove further the next day though. So we tried their services a second time for my studio I was moving out of since my landlord was extremely nit picky about everything she wanted cleaned so I can get my substantially big deposit back. The landlord gave me a list that I wrote out for the cleaning staff and I really emphasized that my landlord was super picky and would be checking this list. Mind you it was not a long list; it was less than 10 items. I trusted their expertise but when I came back to inspect the work the following second day, there was so many items from the list done at half effort and some missed entirely. This studio was a small unit of 400 sq ft or less that was rarely lived in. I had already started cleaning so they could do the detailed work my landlord requested. For such a small space that was empty, I expected a more thorough and thoughtful approach to their clean. Unfortunately they failed to meet expectations. There was still dirt and small debris beside the stove and dishwasher on the floor. See my photo of the corner of the stove. The toilet lid and seat and sides of the bowl were not cleaned at all! See my photo of one of the several crusty yellow stains on the bottom of the toilet seat. The written list I left for the staff asked for the baseboards and under the bathroom vanity to be cleaned and some baseboards were cleaned and others were not. See my photo of the baseboard with splatter. Under the vanity was on the list not cleaned at all. See the photo with my yellow microfiber cloth where I even got sand and small debris from under the vanity. There was multiple shoe stains on the floors among other stains on the floors. On top of all this they were roughly 45 minutes late to clean. At the 15 minute mark past the scheduled time, we tried rescheduling because we were busy with moving. I paid $180 for a low quality clean of a tiny studio that I had to go back and clean again in order to get my deposit back. The value and quality were not there to justify this price. We were offered a discount on the next cleaning but after trying their service twice and being disappointed twice, that doesn't sound adequate. TBH I wasn't planning to write a review but then business owner asked us to take down my photos and that didn't seem honest or transparent. Their excuse was also that since it was a last minute accommodation to clean that's why they sent subpar cleaning staff. We tried rescheduling because they were late so they could have offered better cleaning staff at a later time?? And why hire and keep cleaning staff that provides subpar work?? And what about responsible scheduling: if you know you can't provide a proper service then don't accept the customer. This is a staple in tailoring or custom artwork or any service based businesses... and it should be here too. TLDR; The two stars bonus is for their ability to accommodate cleaning on short notice which is great! So if you need a quick basic clean that misses a couple of spots they got you covered, but if you need something more detailed they'll flop. EDIT: No where did I ask for a refund in any communication with this business. I'm changing this to 1 star due to the business's response saying that we didn't try contacting when we did and for trying to attack my person.

We communicated by text and told me that she would send her best team to clean. I was not disappointed. Every area that we discussed were cleaned. Appliances were cleaned inside and out (refrigerator, stove, oven and microwave). The apartment has wall moldings and built-in cabinets and drawers and they were dusted and cleaned. I texted her about additional areas of cleaning, paying attention to corners and baseboards, windows and sills and her team covered those areas, especially the interiors and exteriors of all the windows, and the carpet on the stairs and hallway. She sent pictures of their work when her team finished. I paid $550 for six hours of a very good job. I would use her service again.

I received her estimate with individual break downs for the cost of cleaning (very reasonable) the cost of cleaning the carpets and the cost to clean all the windows inside and out. Each cost was broken down individually. This allowed us to pick and choose what we wanted done. We made an appointment to have the work done within one week of receiving her estimate, very much appreciated since we wanted this to get done before the new year. Hector and Julia showed up at the appointed time ( actually a little early) and spent four hours doing a top notch job on the cleaning of the apartment. We will do the carpet and windows at a later date. The ovens, cook top and cabinets were sparkling. I can't say enough about there ability. Use Good Job Brothers you won't be sorry. The most unprofessional company I have ever seen. Not only did they try to steal some very…read moreexpensive tools, but they also assaulted one of my neighbors by kicking a box of pots and pans off the truck at her. Let me explain: I live in housing, and recently one of my neighbors was evicted from the program. The service provider then had her trespassed from the property. She was told that if she came back to the property, she would be arrested. When it was getting close to the day management had scheduled the cleanout of my neighbor's room, management claims they tried to contact my neighbor several times. However, I know that she was never contacted, not one time. When the employees showed up, they went into my neighbor's room and were in there for some time before exiting. They then took all the expensive stuff out and put it on their truck first. Then one of the employees, while digging through my neighbor's personal belongings, found some lingerie photos that she had taken for her boyfriend, and this guy proceeded to walk out with it and stick it up on the back of his truck like some trophy for everyone to see, which, of course, is deplorable. By this time, the neighbors had come out and started to complain about this cleaning company because they were told, by Management, that they were going to be able to get their things out of my neighbor's apartment where they were being stored briefly. When my neighbor informed this "cleaning company" that they had taken some items that had belonged to their and put them on their truck after she had already pulled them aside and separated them from the stuff that was being taken and obvious attempt to make sure that they knew these things were not a part of what was going to be disposed of it happen to be tools a lot of very expensive tools, some of the tools in which the people working for this cleaning company had already gone in and separated for themselves prior to us showing up and starting our complaints. The very second that one of my neighbors turned her back on her separated items. The employee grabbed the tools and hurriedly put them in their truck like we wouldn't notice, then refused to give them back to us when we demanded that they give them back if they were not meant to be taken, that they were specifically separated to show that they are not meant to be taken. The employees refused. That is when one of my other neighbors reached into the truck and retrieved the tools, even though the employee was standing there trying to block us because he wanted to take the tools for himself. Then, when I retrieved the tool bag, the employee kicked an entire tote of pots and pans off. Into my neighbor, essentially assaulting her; a police report was made. These people are the most unprofessional, rudest, thieving, awful people I've ever seen in my whole life. Do not hire them. Do not put anything into their pockets because they're just going to steal whatever it is they want, so they can then turn around and make a profit on it. It's disgusting! Downeight criright! Go with anybody else. Go with your grandmother for fuck sake, anybody else but this company. I'm sure that you will thank me for it later.

Isabel is a fantastic cleaner, extremely courteous, and very thorough. She went above and beyond to clean the apartment, spending the required amount of effort and time to ensure everything was tidy as best as possible. I compensated her for the extra time spent, even though she not ask for compensation. I'm hoping that Kelly is doing well, as mentioned earlier in her commentary to a negative review, she was injured from a random stray shooting that left her unable to work for some time. I'd say I have a pretty good judgement of character, and based off of my interaction with Isabel, she loves her sister and extended family that she was continuing to keep the family business operational, as this was one, if not, her primary source of income for her family. Unfortunately, at the time when Isabelle told me this story, they were still struggling. I'm hoping they are still in business, as I would like to continue using their services. I'm hoping the previous 1-star review will be overloooked. I did my research on the shooting after Isabelle had let me know and made an extra effort to put in a donation along with the cleaning services paid. They are hard-working Americans just trying to get by, hit by very unfortunate circumstances. Let's bring them more business!

However, after having the deep cleaning completed by the Shiny Cleaning Crew, we signed up for monthly services because we noticed their attention to detail was top tier. The service needed was two bathrooms and 1 vacant bedroom deep cleaned, plus the exterior of second windows which could be reached from the inside. They completed all of this work in roughly 3 hours, and they made the most of this time, vacuuming and wiping down every surface. At one point I watched as a team member cleaned in the gap between where the hardwood floor and the baseboard should connect, but since it's and older house these had become warped and dirt had gotten between there. In the end all the cleaned areas shined like new. As an added note, we live with two pets, cat and dog and the team was comfortable to work around both animals, who were curious what was going on in the house. I would absolutely hire them again. No headaches with scheduling and well worth the money for the job they did.
