Had a commercial door put in by another company that absolutely did an awful job. Part of my trim kept popping out so I called M&M to fix the other companies work. Not only were they able to get out the next day but they fixed the door for a reasonable price and pretty much immediately. On April 27, 2022 M&M glass installed two shower doors and two mirrors for me. On May 10, 2022 one of the glass shower door above the bathtub exploded on its own. The shards were so sharp that they cut the metal frame. We were lucky that no one was in the bathroom when this happened and no one was injured. I reached out to them asked them to replace it but they claimed that this happens (glass breaks on its own) and they would be "out of business" if they were to replace the glass every time something like this happens. Buyers beware, I personally did not know that glass can explode but apparently it's a common enough phenomena that can happen due to defects in manufacturing or installation (including others). https://www.conservation-wiki.com/wiki/Spontaneous_glass_breakage. Oh my!!! What an Amazing Company. We tried to do business with a company in El Monte. Three days after I requested, they contact our Tenant to measure for the New Vinyl Window, they had not even made an attempt to contact the Tenant. M & M contacted our Tenant the same day I made the request. Their person showed up for the measurement at the scheduled time. The new window arrived a week later, and was installed as scheduled. I almost didn't call M&M due to a couple of bad reviews, but after trying three other glass and window places (who never even answered their phone at 9:30AM when they were all supposed to be open) I thought I'd give it a shot. So glad I did. Ben answered and gave me a quote for a broken bedroom window, about $185 and said if we put in order by 2pm (it was Thursday), should have by the next day (Friday). I hung up, looks for at least one more quote. After trying for hours, I did finally reach two of the other businesses in Whittier/La Mirada area. Both gave similar quotes or at least a range that was in the ball park, but none of them could get my window repaired before Monday. I really didn't want to deal with a broken window in the bitter cold for a weekend, so called Ben back. His crew was busy by the time I called back, but after I explained my situation, he made sure to find someone who could come and measure before the deadline and had my window in the next day as promised. Ben really went out of his way for pretty small job. In fact, he had to get out of the office himself to help with the install today!!!! What a guy. Both Ben and Frank were great during the install. Respectful of the house, kept wiping their shoes at the front door, etc. I hate it when a couple of low ratings effects the total score of a local business. If your not happy, say so, but be fair. I have learned a lesson. You have to give a 3.5 star business a chance, especially if they have a history of happy customers but may have had a bump or two along the way that may have impacted their avg. May was perfection, when she answered the phone right away it was obvious she was special, she was very gracious, extremely helpful, caring and I felt so lucky to have such a lovely person to help me. Because of the virus I was thinking I shouldn't expect a business to understand my husband and my hope to be able to have a mirror made, delivered to our house with respecting the distancing for the virus. May was very reassuring and said of course, we do that and are happy to do this for our customers. The gentlemen who delivered our gorgeous mirror was great, our mirror looks gorgeous. A few weeks ago, my son called this place to see if they could cut a piece of oven glass for my exterior oven door. A lady named May told him they could. She said they had connections out of state that they could order it from. She called those connections, gave my son a quote of $160, and told my son to bring the door in so they could measure it. I live out of state and am trying to sell my house so I had to inconvenience a friend to go to my house, remove the oven door, and bring it to M & M to be measured, only to be told, by May the same person that gave us the quote, that they don't do that! Seriously?!?!?!? If I could give this place a negative rating I would! HORRIBLE customer service if you can even call it that!!!!! read more

This company was great! From beginning to end, they were very professional and courteous. I needed to repair a cracked textured window on my front door. I sent a yelp request for an estimate and Mayola reached out to me in a timely manner. The company was able to find a comparable textured window for my old door that another company couldn't. Also, Mayola advised me before the job that there might be damage to the wood upon removing the cracked window and that they don't have any carpenters to repair any damaged wood. However, when the tech came out for the job, he inadvertently broke the wood frame (the door is really old so I didn't think it would hold up anyways). Instead of telling me: "too bad so sad", he went above and beyond to repair the wood. He ended up having to go to several Home Depots to find the correct size frame. All in all, this company provided great communication, the best price, and awesome work. I highly recommend them for any of your window repair needs! read more
