I would not recommend this company to anyone.! We called to have a sliding door glass replaced with tempered glass and new channels new rollers. After the job was completed the resident sliding door wasn't able to lock from the outside. Advantage glass replied by saying they were not able to send a tech out, because they were on a bigger job. I feel like our "small" 1000$ job should be important enough to them to have a tech come out and finish the job properly. We paid them full amount of money they quoted us at. They created another problem for the resident after they installed the new channels and new roller. They left the resident unable to lock their door on a 3 day weekend. You be the judge of this was bad or good customer service.! read more

I have hired Advantage Glass to install my two frameless bathrooms and mirrors based on recommendation from a company I purchased tile from. I worked with Bill... so this is specific to how he handled the project. I was told that from the day they start it will take couple days to install everything. They did not start on the day they promised, even if was in the written agreement and when setting the day I added just in case another day Now that the work is done I am 98% happy with the finished product. The showers were done well (only one minor complaint). One mirror was installed well, the receptacles were not installed very well and holes were oversized and required larger cover plates. Installing the second mirror on the other hand kept going wrong. It took two returned mirrors, multiple visits and financial pressure to get the work finished right. Took close to six weeks to finish the project. At some point the trust was lost and I started questioning everything. Not a good experience with someone working in your house. THE BOTTOM LINE: I would not hire them again and would not recommend them to my friends. Always feel sad when you start with full trust and it gets eroded by unprofessional behavior. HERE ARE SOME OF THE SPECIFICS: They do not show up as promised and had to be asked multiple times to at least send a text informing that they are running late or not coming. They did not come and worked to finish the project from beginning to the end. Kept coming in the afternoon, usually after 3:00. It felt as if this was either part time job or this project was an afterthought. They do not like taking responsibility for their mistakes.(Poor installation was being promoted as good quality work and at one point it appeared they tried to cover up a problem, hoping it will not be noticed.) I had to hold back the final payment and get quotes from other companies to correct mistakes with mirror installation, before they agreed to fix it themselves. (The third time was a charm). I had to use my contractor to clean up number of things after them (spent additional $350, which they were not willing to cover. read more

Being quarantined, my son and I spent a lot of time playing catch with our football in the backyard. My son over threw to ball and Crash! Right into our bedroom window which shattered everywhere. The owner (Bill I believe) is SUPER rude. My brother stumbled across this shop when we decided to refurbish our doors and replace the glass. He placed an order for some glass with Bill Jr. We were told that it would be in by the following week on a Wednesday at the very latest. That seemed great since our doors would be ready on Thursday. Guess what, the glass wasn't there. Friday through the following Wednesday passes. No news. Bill gave us every excuse under the sun as to why the glass was so late. What's worse is that I would call him to get a status update and he would never respond to me. He'd call my brother KNOWING he wouldn't answer the phone because his job is so demanding. When I told him the last time that he needed to call me back not my brother he said "well you need to answer your phone because I hate leaving messages." Pardon for requesting a call! Maybe you shouldn't call someone knowing they wouldn't answer your phone call and you'd conveniently leave them a message instead of dealing with me in a straight up manner. Here's a week past our deadline and we got our glass today. It's cracked! Did he return my calls? Nope! Plus, I totally believed we got ripped off. I was referred to Bill by another glass company that could not get to my job for 3 weeks so he said call this guy what a mistake it was. I have a business and Bill came out told me it would take 2 weeks and the job took almost 3 months. I made the mistake and gave him a $2,000.00 check. for a deposit which I now know is against contractors board. From that point he would not call me back or his father would say he tried to call you. He did not call. After 8 weeks waiting for my glass he said it was a custom cut . I called the glass company Liberty glass and found out the had just placed the order that day. He cost my business during the holiday alot of money. I was board up 8 weeks. My customers thought I was closed. He is a liar and a cheat be careful of doing business with him. Let this be a warning.
