My decision was based mostly on previous reviews and the labor-and-materials warranty. We got quoted for the entire home, about 19 windows in all. We did the front side now, and the backside will be done early next year. Frank worked with us... and our budget. Made things easier for all of us. We gave Frank 10% of the total cost to start the ball rolling. Laz came shortly after, finalized some details, did the final measure, received 40% of project cost, and ordered the windows. Windows were ready when promised, and the installers brought them on Monday, and by Tuesday afternoon, the project was completed. Leo and his team were total professionals. They made everything go together seamlessly, and the windows look like they came with the house. Leo and crew got the final 50% of project cost. Our house is 80 years old, and was the original ranch home when the area was nothing but citrus trees. Our old double hung and casement windows were beyond needing help and my wife and I weren't sure how everything would look when finished. Saving money turned into a bigger headache. Unfortunately he does not have much integrity in his work and the job was messy and the glass is unsecure. You can tell he used his finger to "smooth" out the silicone caulk. Didn't even try to do a good job. There are holes in the silicone, smeared silicone, and some areas feel shallow like the silicone is barely hanging onto the door. It feels like a small amount of pressure will cause the glass to cave in. Don't make my mistake. Although I "saved" money using him, it was still costly and now I need to repair his work. Another thing was, when initially called him to schedule, he didn't follow up when he said he would and I needed to seek him out for follow-ups and installment. Embarrassing on his behalf.
