Unfortunately, this is not the case with this pharmacy. Before I even went there, someone had told me about a bad experience they had there, but again, I usually assume it's just because they had a unique experience for some reason. The very first time I walked in there, with 4 prescriptions that I take daily, and have been on for a long time. The girl at the counter who scans them in was very nice, and has been in all the subsequent visits I made-she has nothing to do with why I don't care for this place at all. After the girl scanned in my scripts, they were handed over to the pharmacist. When she looked them over, she came to the counter to inform me that one of them she would not fill, that she had spoken to the doctor about what she felt the proper dosage is for this medication. The next one she said they didn't carry but didn't offer to order it. The third one, she said they also didn't carry but she'd see if she could order it or not for me. I asked her if she knew whether it would be available the next day or if it took a couple days, and she informed me she was going to see if it was able to be ordered, and then decide if she WANTED to order it. All of this since word one, was said in a very rude tone, and I hadn't said anything to make anyone upset-and couldn't understand why she was that way. I ended up taking 2 out of the 4 scripts elsewhere which of course was not what I had wanted to do. I went back there another time, because they are unfortunately the closest to me, and there was a different phatmacist on. This one also was very rude when she brought my script back to the counter, and told me the wording on the script had to be changed in order to fill it the way it was meant to be, tho no other pharmacy had ever had a problem with the way it was worded. My scripts are always the same, and printed off the computer. So I'm not sure why the wording was OK for 2 other pharmacys I'd been to with these same meds. I ended up going in a 3rd time to fill the one script I knew they had before without any issues, and met a third pharmacist who had the same attitude as the first two. I've decided that as much as this place is the closest pharmacy, because I don't drive, Id much rather wait and have a friend bring me to another one, and save the hassle.

My first.............and last experience with the owner of Hopkinton Drug by the name of Dennis…read more(owner of the store) began with a script that my prescription benefit company does not provide. My doctor sent the script to this Hopkinton Drug as they provide this medication. My dealings with this store were anything but simple. First off I had to listen to this Dennis, a so called "professional" for at least 20 minutes telling me why he does not deal with my prescription benefit company. I received the medication and then forwarded the information he supplied to my script company for reimbursement. Some information to process my reimbursement was missing that required Dennis' help. I spent almost a week going back and forth with this man, who absolutely refused to give me the information as he insisted "they have all the information they are going to get from me." Each and every phone call with him I had to listen to him sputter off as to why he does not like the drug company and also his concocted theory as to why they are doing this. I told him if he did not give the company the information they needed then I could not be reimbursed; he could have cared less. So a week later and here I sit without my reimbursement. I have never had to deal with a more arrogant, rude, and unprofessional person in my life such as this one.

But I haven't heard anything from all care a week. Then week and half later some one called me and said they r all set and within 2 -4 business days I will receive Formula for my baby. Then again one week gone then I had to call and someone on the phone just said it ALREADY SENT FRIDAY VIA UPS AND U WILL RECEIVE IT BY MONDAY. And Monday end of the day around 3 pm I didn't receive it then when I called I got very very frustrating attitude from her. 1st thing she said "ITS OUT OF STOCK " Then I was trying to make her understand how upset I am coz last few weeks I have been spending money out of my pocket even insurance already approved at least 2 weeks ago. Then she said not gonna be available until next Monday (after 7 days) then I got mad and trying to ask why it's happening. Then she was keep saying it's not my fault we r out of stock. -then she transferred to someone and Michele helped me and found another vendor who can ship it to next day.. But guess what??? It didn't come yet.. next day gone.. called again today and got the tracking number and status says tomorrow at the end of the day.... WHAT A CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!! I would not recommend anyone to go there. They need to hire some one who can have the personality and ability to say sorry if it is inconvenience to customer.. but they don't do that... i felt little bit better when talk to another rep name MICHELE WAS trying to help me in nice way.
