These guys were awesome right from the get go! Professional, affordable, friendly and went the extra mile. The owner JR was responsive and made me feel comfortable with choosing them to help us on our move out of state. They moved us into a u pack truck from 2 different locations (storage unit and our house) made sure our belongings were packed safely and securely in the u pack trailer and busted their butts to get it done. I have never used professional movers before and was worried about how long it would take to complete loading the truck (since you pay by the hour) but these guys hustled and got it done in a decent amount of time! There are not enough words that can be expressed on how amazing these guys are. I used them twice within 6 weeks to move myself (5 bedroom, 2 story, tons of stuff, needed 2 trucks and 7 guys) and my parents ( 2 story, and they had to walk the distance from the truck to the apt each time because of the location). My mother first used their service to move the contents of her house back in May 2020. They treated her so well and carefully packed up the furniture she took with her and carefully unwrapped it when she got into her new house. I used them to move a very heavy and expensive piece of equipment. They were so careful but were so time efficient. I couldn't recommend a better company!!! The first company backed out so I contacted M & M who stepped up on short notice and moved the smaller project and came back the next day for the larger load. Last December I decided to move from San José to Stockton and needed a company that would do it around the holidays since it was the only time I could take time off work to do it. I searched a few places and this one seemed to have great reviews. I got a quote the same day and since my dates were so limited they made the dates work for me. On the day of the move the owner personally came out to help his team get the work done which was done in less than an hour. It was really fast. I have moved many times before myself and even with help it has always taken me at least 6hrs to pack the truck. This time I was moved out of my last place and my new one in Stockton before noon the same day. The team was professional, fast and none of my belongings were damaged plus they even assembled all our beds for us which would have taken us hours to do ourselves. Over all this was a great experience. Low cost (compared to others I got quotes from), great service, fast, and painless. I would NEVER do another move by myself. It's not worth it. This morning JR and his crew showed up ready to WORK. I had a lot of problems prepping as much as I'd hoped in the days prior to my appointment with M & M Movers but they took a walkthrough with me prior to starting and they didn't even flinch (at least not that I saw, haha)! I literally had a small apartment crammed with four generations of stuff I haven't been able to go through because of lack of space to do so and lack of time (children are kind of that way) PLUS Covid has had all donation centers closed so no where to take the things! They moved everything out of a three story and into a two story and asked along the way if they happened to have questions. And then when setting things up in the new place JR even did some magical feng shui and he and his team set it up so everything is usable without being in the way. I would recommend M & M to any friend, any time. I hope I don't have to move for many years but I'll be looking them up first to see if the family keeps the business going! M&M helped my aging parents with a HUGE move from Tracy to Elk Grove and did a wonderful job. This included trucks for disposal, a truck for donations, and several moving trucks for belongings over several days. They were clear about which types of things they would not move in their truck (medication, plants, animals, jewelry), which helped us plan ahead. Because we had such a large project, they moved our grandfather clock and piano for free, for which they usually charge extra. The primary moving day was a marathon 12+ hour day, but the team did not charge us over the maximum estimated time range.
