As I did my research , I started to see that these companies labeled as moving services did not even have trucks and that there is a separate fee to rent the truck which I find absolutely ridiculous. Just completed a 1-week move (ugh! moving is the WORST) and used this company for both moving AND the hauling. Best thing ever to offer both services! Joe and his helpers worked hard to help me move from Stockton to Plumas Lake. They took the time and care to wrap my furniture, and did a great job unloading at my new storage unit. These guys are AWESOME! They were super accommodating and able to squeeze us in last minute for a move. They sent two gentlemen who arrived on time and were absolutely amazing. I'd never seen my new place and we arrived to a nightmarish around of steps. I myself would have turned around and quit, but they tackled the job with positive attitudes while still being aware of time. We had booked a move and a clean with them. Our move happened during the bad storms in Northern California. We booked to move on a Saturday morning and a move out clean on the Sunday morning. Friday they called and confirmed the time for the Saturday move and said there is a 100% chance of rain but they will still be there but will have to move a little slower due to it being wet. I was perfectly fine with that and understood. Saturday morning before their scheduled arrival time they called and asked if we could move the next morning because of the rain. I said that we could do later in the day but the next day wouldn't work for us since all of things were packed and ready to move. They say it's okay and they would be there at the scheduled time. They showed up, looked at our apartment and said okay we are going to go down to truck and get everything set up and we will be back. After waiting 20 minutes we go out and check to see if everything is okay. They are gone. We try and call their cell and the office. We both were blocked and sent straight to voicemail. They left and gave us no explanation or apology. And left us high and dry. I understand not wanting to do move in the rain for safety but I do not understand why you would ghost a customer. I would have at least appreciated a conversation. I can respect a business decision but I was left in a bad situation because they couldn't communicate with us. read more

I hired Joe to move a heavy leather couch my friend gave to me. Joe and his partner, Nestor, were on time and ready to make it happen. It turned out the previous movers hoisted the couch over the second floor balcony to move the couch into my friend's house. Joe and Nestor worked smart and took the couch apart in three sections, loaded it, and reassembled the couch at my place. Joe and Nestor had the can do attitudes needed to get this job done. I paid them a little extra because I think they undercharged me given the amount and quality of work they did, but they didn't ask for more - I paid them extra so I can sleep well at night. The furniture was dirty and he recommended that I clean it outside while he waited. Then they brought it in and patiently worked with me while I placed it just right.
