Second time here but it's a favorite of my mom's. I love the selection of baby house plants for only $7. When on a budget, I'd rather get smaller plants and grow them instead of dishing out $$$ for huge plants and a lot of places only sell mature plants. Got angel wings and 3 other plants for only $7 each. read more

Pulled up Five minutes before closing to grab a bag of soil and the employee came out in a hurry using hand gestures to say we are closed wow guess they don't need the $$ we will go elsewhere super uncool. read more

Great place to bring kids! This nursery is like a museum with all the different Fairy Gardens! A great place to wander around and enjoy some time together. The misters & lovely hanging plants (impatience, dragon wing rhododendron among others) make the transformation to magical fairy land complete! I brought my niece & we kept saying "oh! Look at this one!" as we walked from one display to the next. Other visitors were just as charmed & delighted by all the vignettes. The indoor (almost a gift shop!) are is chalk full of Fairies, Fairy houses & furniture, tables, chairs, rocks, shells, every little thing you need (& don't need but WANT!) to create your own personal Fairy garden. The sky (or your wallet) is the limit! Nice array of "Cottage Garden" flowers for full sun areas- including zinnias (in amazing colors!), cosmos, rudabeckia, milkweed (to attract monarchs), & more. Also had a group of plants to attract hummingbirds. Beautiful garden statues and fountains for any mood garden- zen, modern, country wild flower theme- you will find just the right thing to complete your refuge! As other reviewers have mentioned, great selection of small and mini bonzai trees. So impressive. It really is an art form, and I don't have the skill or patience to maintain those. But I surely appreciate them! Nice selection of shade plants & small succulents too. I didn't notice any big trees or larger plants, but in my defense I was enamored with the "Baby tears" & all things small. What a lovely escape. This is not the place for big trees read more

I've been coming here for a while now. I'm not a fairy gardener, but M&M has a good selection of Elfin Thyme, which I use as ground cover between cobblestones in my garden. Staff is friendly, but will step back and let you look, so don't be shy about approaching them for help. It really is a specialty nursery, and doesn't have a huge selection of items, but it is a stone's throw from other nurseries on N. Tustin Street, so I usually just hit them all on the same day for convenience. read more

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They also have a great variety of plants and accessories for fairy gardens. My daughter made her garden about two years ago and we still go there to pick up additional decor. Fairy gardens have very specific needs and m & m always has what she is looking for. I also buy my veggie plants here. They have done pretty well. Herb, too!! read more

My friends from work insisted on going one afternoon and I'm so happy I went! One of them is super into pixie gardens...if that's something you're interested in, this is THE PLACE for you! Interested in some indoor plants or succulents? drive over right away! The owner lets you do your thing but is super friendly and helpful if you look like you need help or if you ask a question. For many years M&M held my sole devotions as a homesteader and creator of magical gardens. If an inspiration came to me, I'd go to M&M. My sons loved it there. Everything I purchased there satisfied, nothing disappointed. The staff were always so pleasant and helpful. Were, past tense. Several years ago I'd bought a string of miniature solar powered lights with three functions- constant, blinking, and fading. They were so enchanting and so reliable that I bought a second string as soon as I made a place for them in my yard, which made my yard so lovely to sit in at night with all those little lights coming from two sides- one on my fence and one on my trellis. In fact, I am remembering that after I bought the first set, I watched their stock stay about the same the few times I'd gone in for other things. It was when they were down to their last set that I'd just made room for that set and had to buy it. I know how small business sales go. If a product doesn't sell well, it probably won't come back. It was perfect for me and I was content to get the last. A while later, I moved from where I kept my yard so pretty, but under sad circumstances (rising rents) and could not bring my string lights with me. At my new home, I wanted those or something similar for my balcony so I went to M&M to buy new plants and decor and asked if they could order more of the string lights. The person I spoke with said they'd never carried any such thing. I was shocked at the insistence there that they had never carried or sold me what I had 2 receipts for going back a few years. The problem with that is that their receipts do not show the business name or the products purchased- they're just little print-outs from an old calculator. My son who'd been with me for both purchases was equally shocked and grossed out that I was being gaslighted. I even called later to ask if they could look back through their orders according to the timeframes I'd bought both sets. Again, I was told I could never have bought those string lights from them. The magnitude of the lie I was served from two people I'd always been glad to interact with was enough to discourage me from ever going to them again for future projects, which has remained a huge disappointment because there is no better nursery in Orange County. This is old news now, but I'm at a point where I am done letting things slide. I was lied to, and customers and prospects should know it can happen to them. Before the lie I was fed twice, they were 5 star. Lies are ugly, and maybe this should be 1 star. read more

I thought I had reviewed M and M Nursery before but don't see it so just in case - here I go again! Always a delight, family owned biz, the brother and sister run it now that their mum passed away a few years back. They have a nice mix of plants, from succulents and natives (my favs) to shade plants, roses, herbs and a huge variety of wee items to make "fairy gardens". They even do classes on making your own fairy garden or in a pot or container. Always friendly and helpful, the gardens are always beautiful and well kept. A must nursery if you are in Orange or the surrounding area. They have cool statuary as well and you can buy the big bags of soil. They are the perfect neighborhood nursery. read more

This is not your cookie cutter nursery! Great place, great selection and adorable, tee-wee fairy gardens that bring out the 5 year old tea party loving girl or boy in you. I can see myself with hundreds of these gardens when I'm in my twilight years and nothing better to do then tend to my garden. I was obsessed with building a terrarium and the staff was very helpful in assisting me find plants that would thrive in an enclosed jar. I was a bit sad I only had four plants to choose from but it's okay. I could really only fit two plants in the jar i had anyway. What I loved most about this place was the selection of whimsical miniature figures and furniture you can choose from for your mini garden. Their selection included the obvious, from little gnomes, mushroom houses, chairs, swings, animals to of course, FAIRIES! But they also had cool things like golf clubs, coke bottles, crates and BBQ sets. You can really get wild with your garden. read more

Small local nursery off of Tustin Avenue. It's small, but they have tons of stuff for miniature or fairy gardens. They don't offer planting service, but there's a good selection of glazed pots and plants for you to assemble at home. All of the plants are sorted by shade, sun, indoor, so you can easily pick what will work for you. read more

A complete delight. Besides the usual nursery specimens, the Fairy Gardens are a treat unto themselves. Talk about being inspired - I'm dying to create my own now! They only offer some of their amazing creations for sale, too; tempting customers with the ones that are display only! Great business and nice people. Was there for the first time today! They have a lot o beautiful plants and flowers. The fairy gardens are VERY nice and so creative!! A little pricey, but very nice. The only thing I didn't care too much for was that no one really offered any help. We asked about a price of a fairy garden and the gentleman told us the price. When we went to purchase it we were told by the lady that someone placed the tag there. It was kind of a bummer. Oh well, other than that it's nice! :) read more

Has small and medium succulents and cacti starting at $2.49 larger selection of succulents than cacti. Very friendly staff and helpful. Good place for purchasing fairy garden items, has a relatively large selection to choose from. Nice place, worth checking out when in the area. Drove all the way here from Yucaipa and they have a sign on the gate that lists about a weeks worth of days they are closed with today, January 4, as one of them. There is no mention of these dates on their website. Very unprofessional and disappointing. I don't think I'll be back since I drove all that way just to go to this nursery. read more

This is the best nursery I've been to in Orange County. The prices are good, and they have a wide variety of plants that are in good health. My favorite part of the nursery is how well organized they are. You can find what you're looking for by section, such as terrarium plants, outdoor plants, shady plants, etc. they also provide very helpful information on care for each plant read more

The first time I went here they had everyyything and was so affordable! I had so much fun walking around looking at the fairy gardens. But the second time it wasn't the same? It seemed like a lot of things were dying and they didn't have a nice selection maybe cause everyone is in a plant phase now and they sold out. I will still go a third time! read more

Really want to love this place but it has no restrooms for customers. I was told the closest one was down the road. After trying to shop I finally had to leave empty handed. For younger bladders it's a wonderful place for master minding your fairy gardens, seamed to carry more unique harder to find miniature plants but be prepared to pay premium price for them. read more

Sadly I would have loved to purchase anything from here, too bad I couldn't get anyone to answer any questions I had. It was a ghost town, no customer service whatsoever. The only two people working (I think) were too busy with a vendor who was selling solar globes from the trunk of her car. Of course, couldn't get their attention either. I love this nursery. When I don't have the time to get down to Rogers Gardens, I go here! They are a small nursery but the quality and selection of plants is outstanding. I have always been able to find what I am looking for and the staff is very helpful. They also have several fairy gardens on display and they sell all of the miniature plants and accessories for making them. If you enjoy plants, other than the boring home depot varieties, you will enjoy going to M & M nursery. read more
