Mike did a great job installing a new Liftmaster system for one of my garage doors. Mike took the time to lay out 3 different options for me and went through the pros/cons of each of them as well as let me know that he could just repair the old one if I wanted that. Mike pointed out some of the issues with the current one (which was 20 years old) and that I would probably be better off in the long run replacing it, as I would likely have another problem a year from now. Mike is a straight-shooter which is unusual in his business. Mike also explained how I could troubleshoot any problems with the door in case of power outages, etc. which was helpful. DO NOT TRUST! Undelivered promises, shoddy workmanship. Mike came and gave an estimate for my three-car garage. He verbally confirmed that everything would be brand-new except for the torsion springs and the door itself. When they did the work, they DID NOT INCLUDE NEW GARAGE DOOR TRACKS except on one bent area. In addition, on the one bent area he replaced, it was installed incorrectly, so that when the garage door came down it would rub against the garage door frame and take off paint and wood! When I called to complain, he said that new tracks were not in the written estimate. I guess I should not have just trusted his word. read more

I found M&M Services through Yelp at around 3pm, after I had hit my car on the garage door when I was leaving in a rush, derailing the door from the track. I could no longer close the garage door, and to make matters worse, the weather forecast projected 6-10 inches of snow overnight. Mike was very accommodating to this information, and promised to come over at around 6:40 pm to fix things. He came at exactly that time and finished changing the wheels on the garage door very quickly (20 mins). Our garage door collapse owing to a wrong doing by the previous owner. We called Mike and he showed up on time. It is not a normal job since the door is almost ruined in a very dangerous angle. However, after some careful planning, Mike is able to fix a couple of the key components and skillfully fix the whole door. It saves us the money of replacing the whole door. Contacted M&M based on the yelp reviews. Called on a Sunday because my garage door stopped functioning. Immediately Mike answered and offered to come to see the problem. I actually was calling for a future appointment date which he agreed to. He came on said date on time. Tried to fix the problem and recommended that I call the manufacturer and see if they would be willing to send me a replacement part. He took about 20 minutes trying to correct the problem. I asked him how much did I owe him and he said "nothing". Well, I called the manufacturer per his instructions and they actually mailed me a replacement part, which was the motor, and I called Mike to install it.
