I was very pleased by the friendly, prompt, and responsible service I received from this taxi service in Oneonta. The person who answered my initial call was professional and took my reservation--which was then fulfilled exactly as planned. I needed to be picked up at the bus station in the evening, and sure enough, the cab was right there when promised. The driver was courteous and good natured. The vehicle was clean and pleasant. I didn't have to hunt for a seatbelt, like you do in some cabs. Glad to know that a quality 24-hour can service is available when you need a ride from the Oneonta bus station to the middle of nowhere...or somewhere. I was also pleased to learn that this taxi company provides rides to the airports (Albany, JFK, etc.), New York City, or pretty much anywhere you might need to go. And, after many bad experiences with NYC cab drivers (and other drivers) who chat on cell phones and send text messages while driving, it was a relief that this driver kept his phone contact with the base quick and minimal. I've seen enough vehicular near-misses with folks on cell phones and other distractions to be very uncomfortable with this behavior. Glad all the rest of you had positive experiences, however.... Was not a customer but the vehicle in front of one of the 2 drivers, think it was male (vehicle had the number 13 on the back) but only saw the middle finger I got through the sunroof after the person passed me on a double yellow line in front of Lowe's on route 23 in Oneonta. I had slowed down when the person was tailgating me, which he continued to do from Walmart to Lowe's before passing. Very reckless and ill mannered driver. Can we say ROAD RAGE? I never had the pleasure of using this taxi service BUT I did have the pleasure of meeting one of the owners.I was waiting outside a deli with my pup when the one owner, Michel, asked if the store I was standing in front of was the deli. I said yes and the client went in to order some food. Michel started walking towards my pup and I, and as soon as he got close, she went crazy for him. She absolutely adore this man. We started talking about our dogs, his company and just life. My boyfriend came outside, and when they met they started to chat. The client then came out and we stood for a little and just all talked. It was great, how we all just shared a moment. Michel was fabulous, such an easy to talk to person. He's passionate about his business and you can tell he's a genuine person. It was also apparent that he really cared for his client. It seemed like they were friends for years. I would 10/10 recommend this business to anyone just because of how awesome he was with us. read more

Unprofessional and rude. Terrible experience having a cab driver screaming at me because I wanted to write a check, tried to charge me quadruple the rate. Spoke to the owner who basically defended the driver, neighbors actually had to come out and ask that he calm down since he was so loud, the kids were woken up. Never again. read more
