I'll preface by stating that I generally do all of the maintenance on my own vehicles, unless I don't have the proper tooling, (such is the case for mounting/un-mounting tires, especially with my vehicle's low profile rims!). I gave M&M a call, and they had immediate availability, (this was on a Thursday around 1:00pm) so I drove over during lunch, (I work remotely, about 3 miles from their shop). Explained the situation, due to hitting several potholes that'd unexpectedly sprung up along the local roadways this winter, I'd clearly threw several of my alloy rims "out of round", (ie, they were pretty jacked-up/bent) which caused vehicle vibration, while driving, particularly noticeable at highway speeds. I plan on straightening them at home, using the proper tooling, but needed to get those rims un-mounted first and discard the old tires, which were past their prime, along with the installation of 5 new rims, (with TPMS) *and* tires, (which included the full size spare, all of which I'd brought with me), and all would require mounting and balancing. (In conversation, I learned that this is a father/son, family owned shop, (M and M == Miguel and Miguel)) Miguel (sr) provided an initial quote of $160, with a potential wait time of an hour and a half, so I chilled in their waiting area while they got to work; he also double checked to confirm that my TPMS modules on the new rims were also new, (from personal experience, these things are finicky, with questionable service life, so I appreciated that), and in under 35 minutes, (I sat down at ~1:26pm and my car was ready at 1:58pm) they had me squared away with time to spare! Final price was exactly as quoted, communication was excellent, staff was professional and friendly, and they were very respectful of my time and vehicle, (they'd even wrapped the old rims in the plastic bags that came with my new set, to avoid damaging my car interior, as I lacked trunk space for all of them) *and* are open on Sundays! All that said, this will be my official, go-to, auto-shop whenever I need to leverage shop services and I will absolutely be recommending them to family and friends in the LB area. Compared to my previous experience with automotive shops/dealership services included, this was absolutely 5/5 stars! read more

My husband and I went to Tijuana over the weekend and on the way back we had a screw go into our tire. We made it all the way home without a flat and the next morning we got up and took the vehicle to a tire place. I have brand new tires on my car so I did not want to give up my tire. My husband told the guy changing our tire that I wanted to keep my tire. The technician suggested that we purchased a new tire at $60 because if he plugs our tire it may blow out soon after. I was like no, I don't believe that this brand new tire is damaged to that extent. So I had him pull the screw out and the screw was superficially stuck into one of the threads,no damage done to the tire. We did not spend $60. We did give the technician $20 because he helped us pull the screw out. All in all, we received good service. read more

I Took My 2017 Grand Cherokee TrailHawk for Alignment 2 times to M and M Tires and they just couldn't get it right. Yes they do test drive it after they do the Alignment but they just drive it on small streets around the block. Sunday morning, flat tire. We went to a chain location, very busy and unable to accommodate us until Monday. We went to M and M Tires and were able to get help immediately. Miguel Sr. and Arnulfo were friendly, efficient, and competent. They were able to offer affordable options and we were on our way within 30 minutes. Meanwhile, we enjoyed watching football on their nice TV. We saw them interact with other customers and their consistent professionalism was refreshing. So glad the other place was booked. These guys are excellent. I've used a couple of the shiny franchise tire shops in past and was not happy with their habit of trying to upsell service, extra cost for "warranty certificates", saying they had to charge me for a new TPMS sensor (we can't let you drive off the lot without replacing it).... all the BS games that the big shops play. I remember going into one highly rated, shop in Long Beach for road noise.... nothing was wrong with the car, it just sounded a little off like one of the tires might be a little out of round... They charged me $100 inspection fee to tell me they recommended $3500 in repairs to my car, none of which had anything to do with the road noise I came in for. Just an ocean of service work. M&M was no nonsense. Fair price for good work. I got my tires on Tire Rack and these guys took care of it. Balanced, mounted and disposed of the old tires for a really good price. I lucked out and got there when both bays were empty and they knocked my tires out in.... 20 mins? But I also saw a swarm of cars come in after me. These guys are great... They had a waiting room to kick back in, nice comfortable couch, coffee, Netflix. No bull$#it, no upselling, just good work at a fair price. I hope these guys blow up. read more
