We went to M&P's tonight for the first time in few years, and it was a very good experience. Food is good, people who work there are friendly, and the prices were decent. We were both given enough food that we had enough left over for lunch the following day. There's nothing "spectacular" about the place, hence only four stars. But it is a good, solid local joint. Everyone I know locally speaks well of it. A pretty good percentage of their business is take out, so don't be put off if the eating area of the restaurant is somewhat empty. Note that it is not a full service restaurant. You need to order at the counter, and you need to go get it at the counter when it's ready. That part of the experience seems weird since it looks like a full service restaurant inside, but that's the way it is. read more

The food here was AMAZING some of the best pizza I've had in a while. I will dream about their pizza crust for the rest of my days. So crisp, with the perfect amount of soft, the Lasagna was phenomenal as well, I would have gotten down on one knee to propose to the sauce if I wasn't so tired from a long drive. Glad to see it's up and running. There's not a lot in the area, but the pepperoni pizza works. It's made from dough on site, and decent enough. The sauce is a bit spicer than I'd prefer, but I think it'll work for basic purposes. They still have delicious Hersheys ice cream, and beyond big submarine sandwiches. The service is excellent. Thank you to the very nice employees. It was fun visiting a spot from the past, and the renovations are excellent. A very attractive restaurant, with extremely comfortable seating. This family-owned restaurant has been on Route 17 for decades. After taking extended family there on a Saturday night, we could not have been happier with our dining choice. There's not much between Bealeton and I-95 other than fast food, so this seemed like an excellent choice to check out. Prices were just right and this is a great place to have a casual family dinner. You order food at the counter and wait for your number to be called. The menu has a large variety of food options ranging from subs to paninis to pasta. There's certainly something for everyone. I could not make up my mind, so I had an Italian sub and shared a pizza. The sub's bread was SO good--soft and light, perfect for an Italian. Definitely my new go to after The Flying Circus. I was in the mood for a hot ham & cheese sub and the pics looked good but the reviews complained it was lacking meat. I was pleasantly surprised, to say the least. Fresh toasted bread, multiple slices of deli ham, perfect amount of melted cheese and fresh toppings piled high had me in hog heaven. The lasagna was smothered in sauce and cheese and also had a few pieces of pepperoni hidden on top which was a delicious surprise. The cheese sticks were decent seasoning wise but could've used a few more minutes to really melt the cheese and give them that golden brown crunch. The staff was super friendly and promptly instructed us on how their ordering works (they give you menus, you pick a table, come back up to the counter to order and pay, they call your number when your food is ready.) The places was very clean, but kind of small. Overall, if you are looking for the yummy Mom and Pop pizza joint around the corner that every town has, that will remind you of home, this is the place to go. read more

Great service, super friendly staff but also.... That Greek pizza + side salad is what my pregnancy craving dreams are made of! I also recommend the M&P special. This place could be much better. Firstly, why would you have the main entrance traffic flow moving right into the area that is crowded with all the people that are trying to place their order? I had the Spaceburger...huh? It was aight...somewhat bland in taste. They don't have swiss cheese. This seems to be a family owned greek, home cooking, italian pizza, kinda place. At 1230p on a Wednesday, it was really busy. I guess it was the Mom who took my order. She forgot to give me a number. It was my first time and I didn't know I was supposed to have one. Wife and I have been driving past this restaurant for several years and never had the time to stop in for food. We did and we were very pleased with all aspects of this place. The inside was extremely clean, well organized, and comfortable. The menu is very diverse and well put together. My wife had the BBQ and fries while I had the pizza. The BBQ was delicious and had the right mixture of sauce and meat. The fries were just like McDonalds fries and just as hard to stop eating. The menu says the pizza dough and sauce are made in-house daily. I had pepperoni and pineapple and I was not disappointed. I've been here several times. It's never a great experience, but this time was the worst. The place was busy. The kids and I waited for over an hour for our food, and watched 4 people (who were also dining in) come in, order, and get their food before us. We never got our drinks or our appetizer. I asked for a refund and the older lady refused, stating our food was in the oven. I had to leave before the kids started eating each other. $63, just gone. So unfortunate because there just isn't much else close to our home. Thank goodness for Dollar General and their frozen pizza. Disaster averted. read more

They have great pizza and subs. The small pizzas are bigger than you'd expect and the Cheeseburger sub is my favorite. The fries are good and portions are fair for the money spent. They serve beer/wine on and off premises. There's a small outdoor area to eat, and plenty of space to eat inside. They stay open until 11pm on weekends, which is great in this area because most things are closed by 10. You won't be disappointed! read more

This family owned and run restaurant has been quality over the 25+ years my family has been going there. Absolutely EVERYTHING is good. It's quite isolated location-wise, but usually people aren't in a hurry to travel through. I'm not sure what the hype is about this place. The sub roll was the best part of my $10 meal. They use steak'um on the cheese steak. One slice and hardly any cheese. So I combined my sub onto one half to barley equal a sub. No flavor very bland. Hot Italian sub was hardly any lunch meat. Worst subs ever except bread. Chili hot dogs were ok. Fries were under cooked and still frozen inside. Very disappointed because everyone rated this place so high. Wouldn't go again. read more
