I saw that they had a printable menu so you could sit down and look, but I didn't see it until after I panic ordered! I settled for a combo, half salad and a half sandwich. I guess I didn't read the small print where you had to be selective about the salad, so I ended up getting a Caesar salad and then I tried the chipotle avocado chicken sandwich. I also got a side of potatoes which were crispy and very delicious. The side costs extra, which was as bummer cause some places give you a side for free. The sandwich was good and had a huge chunk of chicken on it. The salad was fresh and crispy. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday night, but there was plenty of seating. All of the staff that I encountered were very friendly, they were very quick to clean our table as we finished with dishes, and I also bought a piece of bread pudding to take home, which was amazing as well.

Unfortunately, my first visit didn't exactly leave me eager for a second. I pulled into one of the designated takeout parking spaces directly in front, went inside, placed my order, and took advantage of their buy one pizza, get one free deal. I also ordered two chicken Phillys. I was told it would be about 20 minutes, so rather than stand around inside, I went back to my car to wait. While I was sitting there, a woman driving a green vehicle pulled into the space next to me with dog tags hanging from the rearview mirror. The person inside kept staring at me and giving me what could only be described as dirty looks. I initially wondered if they thought I was improperly using the takeout parking without actually ordering. Then they went through the employee-only entrance. When I went back inside to pick up my food, that same person was working behind the counter, and the uncomfortable looks continued. I still have absolutely no idea what that was about. I had ordered food, was parked exactly where a takeout customer should be parked, and was simply waiting for my order. Whatever the reason, it felt unnecessarily rude and made for a pretty awkward first impression. I could have easily overlooked that if the food knocked it out of the park, but unfortunately it didn't. The chicken Philly was disappointing. The chicken was chopped rather than the shaved-style meat I was expecting, there wasn't nearly enough cheese, and the entire sandwich desperately needed seasoning. It was incredibly bland. The pizza didn't redeem the experience either. The large felt much closer to what I'd consider a medium elsewhere. The cheese tasted inexpensive, the crust was just okay, and overall there wasn't anything memorable about it. I hate to say it, but I've had frozen pizza I enjoyed more. Supporting local businesses is something I genuinely enjoy doing, but the experience has to make you want to come back. Between feeling strangely unwelcome before I even picked up my food and then being underwhelmed by what I ordered, this just wasn't a great introduction. Treat new customers like you want them to become regulars. First impressions matter, and unfortunately this one missed the mark.

We started with the stuffed mushroom appetizer and spinach spanakopita. It was excellent. I really liked the tzatziki with the spanakopita. For the main course we had NY steak, pork chops, and Greek Salad. Food taste and quality were great. We had some left-overs that we took with us. It was time to get back on the road and continue the trek northward on a congested I-95. If I didn't have several hours of driving ahead of me I would have indulged in their delicious looking deserts.
