One of the most unprofessional experiences I've had with a company in a long time. First of all, be warned, this company uses a mix or AI (robots), international customer service, and local people, to handle their inbound calls. So you never know if you're speaking to someone local, someone over seas, or a robot. I called and scheduled an appointment to have my kitchen sink snaked, using their $93 or free promotion. The tech was supposed to arrive between 1-5 pm. (I later figured out that I was talking to AI, to schedule this). So the following morning, I get a call, from a human in their office, saying no, I need to be home at 11 AM, because the plumber will arrive earlier. So I had to leave my job at 10:45 AM to meet this plumber. By 12:30 he had not arrived, so I called the office. The office informs me, we never said at 11, we said AFTER 11 (this is absolutely NOT what they had said to me). They proceed to inform me that the plumber only has one stop before me, and should arrive early afternoon. By 3:30 pm he STILL had not arrived, and I had missed almost an entire day of work. I called the office again, and got an over-seas customer service person who had no idea what was gong on. This so-called plumber shows up at 5:15 pm! He brings in a hand snake, that looks like a child's preschool toy, and performs one of the most half-assed, half-hearted attempts to clear a drain that I've ever seen. He says he can't clear it without a power auger. (Anyone with half a brain would have brought a power auger with them initially). He says he can do it tomorrow, with a power auger, for $500!! At this point I told him to leave. There was no charge for service since he was unable to clear the drain. BUT, this is a BAIT AND SWITCH sales tactic. Advertise one price and service, and then BAM, hit you with a higher price. This waste of time cost me nearly an entire day of work. I was able to get a different company to come out and clear the drain that same evening. The other company arrived on time, and cleared the drain for only $200, less that half the price that M & S wanted to charge me. read more

I just had yet another terrific experience with this company! Their representative, Armani came out to perform my first yearly inspection of my mini-split. He was very personable and professional, and took the time to clearly answer all my questions (which I'm sure was a challenge, as I am not very good at understanding things like this). M&S has such wonderful customer service and great service technicians. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is considering installing a mini-split. read more

In January I was approached by M&S HVAC and plumbing and offer me a service contract. Which sounded like a good deal at $10 per month and included two inspections and cleaning per year. Yesterday they came and after a while I was informed my AC capacitor was "out of range" and need to be replaced or it would fail soon. The estimate was $1100. Which was reduced to $750 (which sounded like a good deal). That's until later in the day I check pricing on the internet. Capacitor $60, leak sealant $60, and 4 lbs of freon $100. Labor took less than 30 minutes. So apparently there labor rate is about $1000 per hour. The 1st person I spoke to offered me a $350 credit towards my "membership" (which I declined). His boss call back later and offered nothing and tried to defend the ridiculous charges. I did check with three other quality contractors to compare pricing and the highest was $531. The others were less. Unfortunately the work was done and the bill was paid. read more

Called M&S to come look at my mini-split which was no longer generating any cold air. They gave me an appointment in 2-3 days. We waited for our repairman to arrive from noon until 7:00 pm. After looking at the unit they confirmed that it was low on freon (which I already knew) but couldn't fix the unit because he was out of 410 freon on his truck. After waiting for 7 hours I decided that I didn't want them coming back but the manager insisted that I pay them $89 for showing up and doing nothing to solve my a/c issue. After arguing on the phone with the manager I agreed to pay his "trip charge" money despite doing nothing. I will never use this company again nor recommend anyone using them. If they want to charge $89 for doing nothing then I certainly don't need them! read more

Joe seemed very knowledgeable and professional. He performed the yearly inspection of the unit, and completed the task with little delay. My concern is with M&S in general. Upon arrival, the discussion immediately went to signing upyearly service plan, and potential cost impact if something was wrong. I felt like they had their hand out and it would require several hundred dollars a year for M&S service. Unit was dripping water Thursday. Nothing worse than paying upfront for a service contract, making a service call date for simple refresh services, waiting all F__ day and NOT having the M&S AC tech not only not show up (scheduled for noon to 4pm), but didn't even bother to call me to say thy weren't coming!!!! These crazy people must think some of are all just RETIREES and have no where else to go and do not work. I took off a full day from work to be here. THEY SHOULD PAY ME. M&S has absolutely no respect for their customers and there is absolutely no excuse for this behavior as a BUSINESS. This will most likely be my last service use with M&S. I have had them install TWO mini-splits for me $12,000 total and service my three homes. NO MORE. Don't waste your time with a firm that does not respect the time of their customers or their customers at all. They are scheduled to come this comding TUES at 8am sharp. WE WILL SEE. I had our dryer vent cleaned today and Rivero did a great!! M&S is a very good company they are on time and do a very good job. They give you pictures of the work they did and I feel like they really care about the service they provide. Plus before your service man even gets there they send you his picture and a short bio about him. I would highly recommend M&S for your HVAC work and dryer cleaning. read more

Top notch professional company. We bought a new central air unit. They installed it quickly and without a mess. The concrete slab was even done well. I recently called for service and had someone here the same day. Always super nice in person and on the phone. The Mitsubishi air unit is amazing. I had a repair done by another company on my 5yo air conditioner 3 months ago. It took them 4 visits to fix the problem (which I later found out was not properly fixed). I called M&S Air conditioning, they came out that day and solved the problem. They were very courteous and professional. We brought a 4 million dollar home less than a year ago and M & S Air Conditioning which is a Diamond Installer for Mitsubishi Installed the system. We lived with no AC in our master bedroom for the 1st two months! 4 Warranty calls later they rigged it up to where it just stayed on and you could not control it at all which run up our power bill from $350.00 per Month to just over $700.00 per Month, just when you think it couldn't get worse it did... we had the AC system upstairs break which damaged the surrounding walls and ruined our new hard wood floors, after three more visits they said they fixed the issue and 1 week later the AC System downstairs broke and flooded the ceiling and damaged more walls and the ceiling, after another 2 visits they said they had fixed it however that was not the case because we still could not control the temperature in the house. We finally got sick of the issues and called the Manufacturer which was Mitsubishi and they sent a Mr. Bob Sparks out to our home. It didn't take him long to tell me that this was one of the worse installs he had seen in a long time; we had a Freon leak in a couple of the units, the ductwork was not installed per code, the wire used was the wrong wiring and the quality was absolutely not the standard of a Mitsubishi Diamond dealer and he was going to make sure they never installed another one of their systems again. We are currently getting ready to remove the entire system and reinstall a complete new system, we are getting ready to file a Lawsuit against this Contractor. read more

Called M & S because our air conditioner's compressor was making a loud noise. They fit us in the same day that we called. I received an email with a picture of the technician who would be coming to my home. Chad was punctual, professional and friendly and got right to work diagnosing our problem. He told us that the motor needed to be replaced and completed the work in under an hour. We were charged a fair price (according to my research) and now have ice cold air conditioning again. AWESOME SERVICE!! After two other air conditioning companies had failed to return a quote, or even show up, a neighbor gave me a card for M&S air conditioning, what good fortune. We needed a split air conditioning unit. Jim came within a day to estimate. He had all the information including electrician cost and was able to explain and price at our meeting. We were scheduled for 3 weeks later. A week later a opening came and Jim called and asked if we wanted our unit early. !!! Yeah. The techs and electricians arrived 2 days later. Professional, polite, equipped and cleaned up after themselves. We Had 3 plants in the way and they moved and replanted them. The electrician contractor that M&S set up were also wonderful. We LOVE the Mitsubishi unit. After install we were given complete instructions from the tech on how to work the remote and care for the unit! Most places hand a book over and go. My highest recommendation since our move to our new home goes to M&S air conditioning. We look forward to our yearly service with M&S. UPDATE. 7/2017. I love this company. My air older main house air conditioner went out. Called the office. They said today 2-4 pm someone would arrive. 2:30 pm chad arrives. One part needed replacing. Part of service was under warranty even. He fixed, cleaned, changed a filter for me a WOW. All fixed. They consistently are quick and wonderful guys. read more
