So accommodating and so relaxing! I made a mistake in remembering my appointment times so we ended up missing our originally scheduled time -- but they were so nice to squeeze me in at the end of the day (because I had a flight planned the next day). When you go in, you get a scalp check and they take multiple photos of your scalp to evaluate the health of it. Then they lead you to a room where you can change into a robe, and they provide you with a box to place your belongings. Then you sit in a massage chair with a comfy blanket and they wash and treat your scalp/hair. After that they use a variety of fancy machines to revitalize your scalp and they blow dry your hair for your before they scan your head again for an after comparison! Overall a very relaxing experience, my hair feels so soft and voluminous. Plus it feels extra clean! read more

If you want your scalp to be scraped for 45 minutes, then this is the place for you. Not relaxing or soothing. They told me not to use hot water to wash my hair and then proceeded to use hot water most of the time when scraping my scalp. Then the technician did not fully dry my hair at the end so I left with partially wet hair. Be aware that at the end they treat your scalp with something that may itch or burn. But they don't tell you that in advance. So if it happens to you, just wait it out if you can. I had to scratch my head for some relief until someone who spoke English explained the situation to me. read more

I drove all the way in from LA (1.5 hour drive-TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT!) to see what this place was all about on a Wednesday in the heat of traffic. I was 15 min late and called to let them know. Nanani or MH (she doesn't want to provide her name-shady!) is rude and has a horrible attitude, not accommodating at all. There is no sign on the door, so you pull into this big shopping center and have to try and find the place. She said they were still going to charge me for the 90 minute service even though they could only do 60 minutes, okay. The woman who did my treatment was good but she didn't understand English so didn't understand anything I was saying. Then I go to change my clothes in the one room they have and while I'm still topless they're banging on the door. I hurried and put my shirt on quickly because of the way they were banging on the door and ripped one of my earrings out. I heard something drop but they kept banging so I had to hurry and open the door. I told them I dropped something and wanted to look but since they don't speak English and the other client needed to change they just kept rushing me along. The front desk girl also the owner, said she'd look and call me, never did. I realized it was my earring and called, they don't answer their phone but she did respond to email. The owner, MH called back and got an attitude with me and said she didn't find my earring, she couldn't look Wednesday or Thursday and call me back because "she had a lot on her plate". They are way overpriced for the lack of service, language barrier and the way they rush everyone around. Good concept but the service is horrible!!! I will be going to Pure Skin and Scalp Wellness Studio or the Tomoko Spa. Not worth the drive or the price! ***** YOU SHOULD BE SORRY AND you should train your staff better not to bang on the one room you offer for your clients to change their clothes in. And yes, I was 15 minutes late because I drove an hour and a half in traffic, then you have no sign on your storefront and yes, I had to use the restroom. That did not take 15 minutes. No one is trying to hold a conversation. Nor was anyone smiling from ear to ear. Your blow dry or whatever that is - IS WACK! I WAS happy to see my friend, that was about it. I also did not insist on the shoulder and neck massage, you offered it. When your staff can't understand when a client says the way you're adjusting the seat is hurting my back and I don't want heat on my eyes-that's concerning. But most of all, when I am changing my clothes and I say that through the door they keep banging on-that's even more concerning. That IS a language barrier. When I say I lost something and I'm looking for it, and they barge in with another customer to the changing room-that's also very concerning. They should be able to understand basic communication. And you offer 20% off IF you pay cash so you can avoid taxes and the IRS... that's also shady! The way you handled the situation is totally unprofessional and if you have too much on your plate maybe you need to reconsider running a business based on "SERVICE" - and that is why I'm writing this review. Textured hair girl here! As the company has stated, this is NOT a hair salon it IS a head spa. After your service, they do dry your hair but it's only to get it dry...no product...no style. Yes I have curly hair and yes I came out looking wild but I knew it wasn't a salon!! With that being said... The service was fantastic and relaxing. My scalp felt so clean and my hair felt very soft. The staff was nice and checked us in on time. I had a scalp assessment before and after. I definitely felt and could see a difference between the before and after. Not a reliable place. Very unprofessional. Set an appointment for a specific date and time. I found it a little odd when my appointment was made at 8:15 and they don't open till 11, but I thought it would be OK since they were the ones who made the appointment. Arrived exactly at 8:15, I had two appointments for my daughter and myself. Kept trying to call and trying to access the door. They have a doorbell which we kept pushing as well, just in case someone was in there. No text, no answer to the calls and no response at the door. Me and my boyfriend went in to get the oxygenating scalp treatment and OMG. My scalp had been itching unbearably from dry scalp, and after my treatment my hair has never felt cleaner and my scalp hasn't felt this level of relief in many moons. The woman who performed my treatment was very kind, as was the host who greeted me and the woman who walked me through my results post-treatment. 10/10 points for hospitality! I walked in self conscious with a very inflamed dry scalp & oily unwashed hair and never once felt judged. The service itself was a little rough on my head (NOT for the extremely tender-headed) but my scalp needed it. The shoulder massage felt heavenly. I could have fallen asleep if it lasted any longer. The water was the perfect temperature and very relaxing. All of the products smelled wonderful and not too strong. I don't think I could have had a more pleasant experience with such great results. My husband and I came in for a 1 hr scalp treatment, everyone was welcoming and the environment was relaxing. Once the scalp treatment started I immediately regretted my decision because I felt as my expectations were different. I expected a relaxing scalp massage, it was very rough! My scalp felt raw... I thought to myself this is to get all the impurities out and she will massage me after. That never happened, it was just a rough scrubbing (I've had better scalp massages at my hair salon). She blow dried my hair and brushed it and then they showed me the after photos. She then asked me how my experience was, I was honest (as any new business should appreciate) I let her know it was a little rough for me and another girl rushed over and told me this is to get the scalp clean. I then went to the back to change and my husband informed me she was talking about my feedback saying I was a complainer, "people like me will never be satisfied", and that I was sensitive. This is so beyond unprofessional, why not wait until the customers leave. As a business owner if you cannot take feedback in a professional manner, why ask for it? Ridiculous. My friend and I went to the M spa for my birthday in January. It was our first time at a Hedspa and it was a really cool experience. Initially they have you take a scalp and analysis. Mine was a bit skewed since I had washed my hair prior to going, however, being a hairstylist, I understood the difference of the scalp condition and my hair follicles. The place was super cute, well lit, and was very sanitary. First you change into a rope and takeoff your top. You switch your shoes out for slippers and you go into your chair. The chair is amazing and has a massage mechanism in it that hugged your body and offered petrissage, effleurage, tapotement, friction, and vibration. The machine also squeeze your calves, your hands, and feet. He head massage was of course, bliss. They rubbed essential oils and clarified your hair, and also put in additional scalp and hair treatments. The water hose gave you chills and Ayala fell asleep. afterwards they blow dry your hair dry. I honestly thought it would be cool if they did a real blowout service for an additional cost. I would've opted into that. After words you got another scalp analysis to compare your before and after. There definitely was a difference, especially with the clogged follicles and scalp condition. I recommend trying it out. I wouldn't go monthly, unless I was losing HAIR. I think I would possibly get the service once or twice a year. read more

I went here for the first time with my sister and two cousins on April 7, 2024. My sister treated me to the 60 minute Oxygenating Scalp Wash; and it was an amazing experience for all of us! I loved how they showed you the health of your scalp before the treatment and after the treatment. They were very knowledgeable and professional by explaining everything to you. The place is very clean and everyone was so nice. The lady who gave me my treatment was wonderful! My treatment was so relaxing it made me almost fall asleep. I also enjoyed the massage chair they put you in while you get your scalp treatment. The thing I loved the most was that my hair felt so soft and straight after she did the blow dry and high frequency comb. It left my hair feeling nice for days. I did not understand the importance of keeping the scalp massaged and cleaned and after the visit I have a new appreciation for this often neglected part of our body! We had the 90 minute oxygenating scalp treatments and they were relaxing, interesting and my scalp has never felt so clean. The spa is clean, the owners are delightful and the run a tight ship. My only feedback, which I did speak to the owner about, is it would be helpful to get print outs of the before and afters; recommendations (including products) and a better understanding of each of the processes that was done on me. I will definitely go back to try the 120 minute hot oil treatment.
