I've always wanna try head & scalp spa and this is my first time here and first time in my life ever and here is what I thought. Vibe : Nice and clean,Relaxing and quiet. Staffs : Friendly,Polite and have an angel hands,Seriously! I almost fall asleep. Service : I did the $168/90 min.Why not?! Right,Just go all in.The massage chair was great! And the treatment was just right and my hair felt so clean and soft after it's done. Parking : They are located in the plaza which was plenty of parking for everybody. Would I go back? Definitely.

The hype is real. My 90 minute session was nothing short of incredible. It was so relaxing that I ended up falling asleep and woke up in a daze. The price point is high, but definitely worth a visit. I advise you make an appointment in advance and don't be late.

Make sure you have an appointment because even after having one they were 15 min late getting me started. The person who did my wash / treatment was really nice and took her time explaining my scalp ....didn't get her name :( The place is clean and neat . I would advise to tip you person before paying at the register. I didn't like that they didn't give me my change to physically allow me to give her my tip ( they said they give to them after) I think it's their system but I would've loved to give it myself. The parking lot had a lot of movement due to a male who was being very loud and honestly it was scary . Be cautious of your surroundings ladies .

Pure relaxation and an incredibly clean scalp! I got the PureLuxury Scalp Spa service for $168 (90 minutes) The full body massager is incredible while you're getting your hair washed and the treatments done. It's sooo soothing and calming. Once that's all done and you go to the main chair for the 2nd half, this service includes a heated shoulder/neck massage. It was just the best service for resetting your nervous system AND your hair/scalp. It's pretty cool how they show you what your scalp and follicles look like before and after the service and offer products to maintain your scalp/hair health. I will say at checkout that them pushing the rewards membership is a bit hard, but overall their services are worth it. Parking is free in their lot, and there's more spots in the back. They're located on the 2nd floor in 238-A.

Pricing is good and they always seem to have a deal going on! I often see a 15% off deal when booking on weekdays which is perfect for after work or days off! Making a reservation is easy. I either call in or make a reservation online. When making an online reservation, there is a $20 deposit that is later applied to your session. The associate at the front desk is always kind and helpful when checking me in. Next, someone will run a camera like object through my scalp and show me the current condition of my scalp whether it's dry, oily or congested. I usually take this time to share my concerns with the associate while she recommends helpful tips to maintain and improve my scalp. I choose the Luxury Scalp Spa which is a 90 min treatment that costs $138. This treatment includes, washing, massage, treatments and drying. The chair that I sit in for the hair washing is this amazing transformer-like that massages you. I have a hard time sitting for too long so 90 min is a long enough session for me! The chair really doesn't cause any strain or back pain which is a big plus! The salon has a very nice serene quiet vibe with peaceful music playing in the background. I really do think this is one of the best self-care, relaxing things to do whenever you want to treat yourself. Although it can be pricey, look for deals they have going on! I purchased a package deal that came with additional sessions which is a way I can enjoy the scalp spa without breaking the bank too much.

Had another great service by Lena today. Amazing, as usual. Did you know that Yangsiguan now sells products? Shampoo and scalp treatment serum. They come in household size as well as travel size. They think of everything!!! Products can only be purchased at their shops. Why not bring a taste of Yangsiguan home with you!! Ok, bye.

I followed the hype and was dying to try this place. We booked our appointment around three months in advance for a weekday opening time slot. I'm gross and only wash my hair 1-2 times a week and rely on dry shampoo for survival. I went all out and lined my appointment up on day five of not washing my hair to get the full experience. Overall the experience was very relaxing. I opted in the luxury scalp spa which included a few extra items than the boutique option. The hair wash was great, and I learned I actually have a sensitive scalp. They scrub for a while so I head did feel little raw after but overall it was a very cool experience. While I did follow the hype, with the amount of new scalp spas popping up all over if I was to do this again I would probably try another spa instead. $138 + tip is a lot to spend (to me at least) for a hair wash, which I why I give it three stars. It was a bummer that the massage wasn't a real massage, instead a tool was used for the massage.

My friend and I finally made our way here after booking a reservation 3 months prior. We both decided to splurge and got the 90 mins Pure Luxury scalp spa for $168. In comparison to the other 2 options, the extras in this one includes: scalp makeup remover oil, microcurrent ion follicle cleanser, phototherapy regeneration, and heat therapy for shoulder and neck relief. It was pretty gnarly to see the buildup and oil during the scalp analysis on the screen. The tech did advise me that it's pretty normal and my hair is considered "clean". Whew! My tech was very friendly, soft handed, and gentle. Have to admit it was quite relaxing when she washed my hair and during the heat therapy massage at the end. The only part I didn't like actually was the crazy massage chair. TBH I felt like I was in an Iron Man gone wrong suit lol It was grabbing both my arms as if it wanted to be sucked and twisted in a weird way. Same goes for my calves, not the best feeling. It was already at the lowest settings and eventually I just had to take both of my arms out for the rest of the session because it was so uncomfortable. The back massage portion on the chair was only alrighty. I don't know, maybe I just prefer hands massage more. Overall, I enjoyed the scalp washing, the LED light to help with hair loss and the heat therapy massage at the end. I wish they would sell a-la-carte services to specific needs, especially the LED lights. I'm not sure if I can come back on a regular basis due to pricing, this is definitely something for a special occasion splurge. I would like to try the other pricing package just to see/feel the difference though.

My scalp treatment was nothing short of an interesting experience. Make your appointments ahead of time because I had to book a whole 3 months ahead until there was an availability. The whole 90-minute experience is comprised of about: 10 minutes changing, aromatherapy, set up 45 minutes hair washing (double shampoo) and the last 30 minutes is like blow dry, oxygenation treatment, anti-bacterial comb, LED therapy, shoulder/neck massage The deposit is $20 that you pay when you book the appointment. The actual scalp treatment is $139 and after tip, it comes out to about $165 per person. Pros: - Workers are extremely friendly and attentive - Amenities feel nice, clean, and relatively new - Parking was free and easy - They will give you water if you want - They use a lot of interesting tools like anti-bacterial combs, oxygenation sprays, and LED therapy combs. - Great location, right next to lots of restaurants, cafes, and stores Cons: - I'm not sure how I felt about the massage chair. It was a little distracting and not a particularly great massage - I'm still trying to process how this place differs from other scalp treatments and if the value is actually there (or if it's better to just do a scalp treatment at home) - The price point is significantly higher than other scalp treatments in the area - but does it offer more value to justify the price? I'm not sure. Tl;dr - for a 3-month wait and $165 out the door, I'm not sure if Yangsiguan is worth its cost in time and money. It's nice to try if you haven't yet or do it on occasion as a pick-me-up, but I'm not completely sold on its value.

Heard so many wonderful things about this place and it's always so busy that you have to book your appointment months in advance. Finally was able to book a spot back in November for an end of January appointment late in the evening for my daughter and I. We originally chose the Scalp Spa, ended up with the new the PureLuxary Scalp Spa. There was a spot left and my friend booked that last spot. When you enter you're greeted by the host who checked us in and asked us to sit and wait while to made sure the room is ready. They escort you in and ask you to change into a warm buttoned towel wrap. Next you would lay down into this massage chair and they turn it on getting a heated massage from your shoulders to legs. This is when they start you with the essential oils head massage, wash, scrub and massage. It was so relaxing that I pretty much KTFO. I do remember when they steamed my hair and used a half circular water massager on my scalp which gave me goosebumps. After all that they would use other tools to massage and stimulate hair growth, soothe the scalp and blow dry until my hair was smooth, silky, shiny, and super hydrated. Even over the next week my hair was silky soft. Wish I can gate keep this place, but I can't! LOVED the whole experience so I booked my next appointment, sadly the next opening is April. Looking forward to go again.

Been wanting to try a scalp spa ever since I saw it on social media. I booked it months in advance because everyone else got sucked in by TikTok lol. It's in the same plaza as A Ri Rang Tofu House (the address they have listed took me to the middle of the road via google maps; Apple Maps might be more accurate). Parking might be tricky during peak hours for that plaza, but I had no issues Friday afternoon. It's on the second floor sort of above said tofu house. Anyways, 4 stars because my scalp definitely feels clean, the gadgets used were fun, and the massage I got at the end was amazing. I wasn't really looking for anything from the analysis where they just tell you if your hair is dry or not so don't expect much from it. But I love how they really took their time and I ended up getting a treatment that was closer to 95 minutes hahaha. I appreciate it when quality and time are taken into account! Main downsides is they're definitely not prepared for hair with texture. Mine came out fine and I actually like the look, but people with curlier hair definitely will struggle. I don't know how well this place will be for people with c type/kinky hair. Like I was surprised that my hair wasn't exactly conditioned in the process and they didn't use a diffuser for me (I did see they had diffusers) so I'd be wary to recommend this spot if your hair has more texture. If you hair straight hair or mild waves, you'll love it. They managed with hair type and i overall found it fine, but if my hair was thicker and curlier, we'd have a different story. So it's definitely worth checking out if your hair type fits what they normally do!

Ask the Community - Purelux Scalp Spa

    Do they offer gift certificates?

What are the acids used in the products?

I'm getting my roots colored and toner for my hair the day before my scheduled appointment and want to know if it's okay to have the treatment the following day?

Yes. I believe you will be ok. The treatment is mainly to rid your scalp of buildup on the hair roots, massage your scalp and condition your hair. Best of luck.

How many times do i need to do the treatment every year?

I am not sure but if not mistaken every 3 months

Trying to reschedule my appt from today because my son has the stomach bug but the wireless number is not available .would love to reschedule my 10/20 12:30 appt . Thank you?

Are you accepting new clients right now?

They are always accepting new clients. Book an appointment online. Very easy. Good luck.

    Iis haircuts offered?

No, this is a salon for scalp treatment.

    Iis haircuts offered?

No, only scalp treatments, but well worth it. Good luck.

How should I have my hair for the appointment? Can I have it up/ braided, or should it be loose?

Loose for sure. Depending on the service, you'll have a hair/scalp test. Then take you to your area. That's where all the magic happens! Best scalp massage and treatment. They will blow dry your hair at the end. Enjoy!!

Whats the age requirement. I have a 13 y/o daughter?

Your daughter's age isn't a problem as long as she is okay to be in a treatment area by herself. Partitions are floor to ceiling curtains like in a hospital. You can still hear everything that is going on in the shop.…

Your website only offers bookings in august? I need an appointment for July 4th, is that not enough time in advance?

I've seen people book appointments about 1-3 months out... they are definitely in demand.

By appointment only but how do i reach you?

Try them via Instagram or leave a voicemail and someone will call back.

I've been trying to reach the salon to modify my already existing appt. Anyone know how to reach the owners? I already have an appt booked for June.

They respond to messages on Instagram

Hi i try to text and call so many times this week but no one answered? Are you still in business?

They've been getting a lot of calls. My friend called to make an appointment and she didn't get one until June.

I would like to make an appointment?

Message them on Instagram or go through the website.

I called couple time, no answer... are they still in business?

I got through earlier today, but they said they're all booked out in May.

How do I book an appointment? I've been calling, no one answers and I'm unable to leave a message.

They are just now answering phone calls, but since they blew up on TikTok they've been booked out and are booked out all of May. Next available appointment will be in June.

Is there an alternate way to schedule an appointment? The number goes straight to voicemail, where you cannot leave a message, and I tried messaging through Instagram.

FYI I had the same issue. I was calling the number on yelp but my fiance called the number on their website and thats the one they answer for appointments. They are booked. I was able to get an appointment by a miracle due to someone's cancelation.

I would like to schedule an appointment but no one answers the phone and the online booking does not work?

Try them via Instagram or leave a voicemail for a call back.

I would like to come tomorrow at 1 pm for two people? I have been calling for the past three days?

Not enough notice. Try them via Instagram or leave a voicemail for a call back.

They have different monthly discounts for their weekday & weekend pricing. If I were to compare to the Korean scalp treatment we got earlier this year, it really is a big difference compared to Bero's scalp treatment and Bero's cannot really compare... However, we both enjoyed the experience as it does include before & after AI camera shots of your scalp, scalp cleaning, deep scalp massage w/ some neck & shoulders as well, a full body massage chair, very light refreshments (tea + cookies), some other oils at the very end, and a simple blow dry. They don't style your hair, just a simple blow dry. I brought a friend with me because I've come a few times and always enjoyed it and felt relaxed but this time was sooo not relaxing and I was sad my friend didn't have a good experience. We got there in the evening for a 90 min and it began as it always did . I'm not sure why but this time the "massage" chair was horrible!!! I couldn't relax and was literally waiting for it to be done. I tried to wiggle my ankles out of the chair and kept moving around the girl never stopped the chair I don't think she even understood that I said I was uncomfortable. This experience felt sooo rough and rushed and I'm not sure if it was because I came at a 6pm time. Either way I should've gotten a great experience with my friend. The chair is uncomfortable the lady was rough it wasn't relaxing and felt like they wanted us to hurry up so they can close and go home. Do not come here unless you want to be tortured…read more I bought a Groupon for a couples 60-minute scalp massage/wash. When we arrived, my friend and I filled out waiver forms that asked for our goals and preferred pressure. I wrote that my goals were a relaxing time and a clean scalp, and I selected medium pressure. After that, I was led to the washing station. I laid down and suddenly a mechanical body massager turned on, which I was not expecting at all. It was incredibly uncomfortable and actually painful. It applied extreme pressure to my legs and feet and dragged them side to side every 30 seconds. After about five minutes of this repetitive "massage," I asked the woman doing my service to stop it. She clearly didn't speak English and didn't fully understand me, so I pointed at my legs and said "no massage." I heard her click a button, so I assumed she stopped it. A minute later, it continued. I was annoyed that she ignored my request, but I decided to just deal with it because I didn't want to come off rude by asking again. Meanwhile, while my body was being tortured, my scalp was being scratched raw. Clearly, we have different definitions of "medium pressure" because I couldn't figure out which was worse, the body massage machine or the scalp wash. I have no idea if she was using her nails or some kind of tool, but all I could do was brace myself. I considered asking her to stop attacking my scalp and just wash my hair normally since I literally wrote that one of my goals was a "relaxing time," but given the language barrier, I knew it would probably be pointless. When it finally ended, I was taken to the blow-dry station. That was the only remotely relaxing part, but my scalp was so sore that I couldn't even enjoy it. Now, you might be thinking, "That's it, right?" Nope. When it was time to show the Groupon, I clarified that it covered both me and my friend since it's listed for two people/couples. Then we asked if we could tip with card. (I honestly didn't want to tip at all, but I figured, whatever, since I'll never be back.) They told us tips had to be through Venmo/Zelle. So we both tipped and turned to leave. But when we tried to walk out, the door was locked. I turned around and asked the lady at the front desk for help with the door. Instead of helping, she said something like, "Only one?" I assumed she meant the Groupon again, so I re-explained that it was for two people. She then clarified, "Tip... only one?" I was shocked. How unprofessional. What business double-checks if both people tipped? Tipping is optional. What if one of us didn't want to? Is that something we'd be forced to justify to her? I told her we both tipped. She said she received mine but not my friend's, so my friend had to pull out her phone, open her bank app, and show that $20 had been sent via Zelle. Again, how incredibly unprofessional. Maybe management should consider paying and training their employees better so they're not so desperate for tips. For context, the service isn't cheap. The Groupon was $140.

My mom appreciated all the refreshing little details and said, "Don't worry, it's not like they're putting ice on your head!" The cooling sensation was refreshing and relaxing at the same time. It all ends with a blow-dry and snacks!! IG: socalhkfoodies

The dermatologist took the time to genuinely listen to what I was concerned about--without rushing--and explained things in a way that actually made sense. What meant the most to me was how comfortable they made the whole visit feel. It can be a little vulnerable talking about skin issues, but their calm, kind, and down-to-earth demeanor immediately put me at ease. You can tell they truly care, not just about the outcome, but about you as a person. On top of that, their skill is obvious. The treatment was smooth, precise, and the results have been better than I expected. I left feeling not only taken care of, but also more confident. It's rare to find a doctor who combines this level of expertise with such a personal, compassionate approach. I'm really grateful I found Dr Sung and his team and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

The front desk insisted on having a consultation for $150, totaling $250 for the visit. Did i move forward with the appointment? Absolutely NOT! Quite shady of a practice.

Upon walking inside, I see the head spa was very clean and nicely set up. I was greeted by Lia and she led me to sit down at a station to do a scalp analysis. I was then led into one of the rooms to change out of my top and the head spa began. Lia was very gentle when washing my hair and was firm enough when giving me the massage. I've been to at least 4 other head spas before and at Bell's Head Spa, I experienced my first non-stanky hair cover. I'm not sure what it's called but at every location, they would put a cover over the head and it becomes a humidifier. Every other place I've been too had a musty smell, but not at Bell's. After the head spa, I got changed and was led back to the station where Lia did an updated scalp analysis. What I appreciated most was she actually took her time with the high frequency wand. Other places would do a couple clumsy brushes but Lia went through my whole head. She even gave me some great advice on what I should do with my scalp and hair. Honestly, Bell's is hands down the best head spa I've been to. There's a couple other services I want to try next time that I couldn't this time due to limited time.

At the previous place, we were given robes and house slippers to change into before relaxing together in a cozy, dimly lit lounge with soft couches, complimentary snacks, and drinks. When it was time for the treatment, we were placed next to each other so we could chat throughout the experience. We had gone there before my cousin's chemotherapy treatment, so being able to spend that relaxing bonding time together meant a lot. This location had a welcoming atmosphere and was somewhat relaxing. The chairs were comfortable, but there wasn't a lounge area, snacks, or drinks beforehand. Since it was our first visit here, we weren't sure what to expect. One thing I really liked was the scalp analysis. They examined our scalps before and after the treatment and displayed the images on a monitor, which was interesting and informative. For the treatment itself, each of us was placed in a separate room, so we couldn't enjoy the experience together. No robes were provided, and my kids were simply asked to remove their tops. After the treatment, I was served unsweetened iced herbal tea and one madeleine. My kids each received iced water and one madeleine. I also paid an extra $20 for the heated shoulder pad, but it was essentially just a heated shoulder pillow. In my opinion, it wasn't worth the additional cost. Overall, I would come back by myself if I wanted to pamper my scalp because the treatment itself was nice. However, I probably wouldn't choose this place for a group spa day or a shared relaxation experience since everyone is separated into different rooms.
