When we arrived, my friend and I filled out waiver forms that asked for our goals and preferred pressure. I wrote that my goals were a relaxing time and a clean scalp, and I selected medium pressure. After that, I was led to the washing station. I laid down and suddenly a mechanical body massager turned on, which I was not expecting at all. It was incredibly uncomfortable and actually painful. It applied extreme pressure to my legs and feet and dragged them side to side every 30 seconds. After about five minutes of this repetitive "massage," I asked the woman doing my service to stop it. She clearly didn't speak English and didn't fully understand me, so I pointed at my legs and said "no massage." I heard her click a button, so I assumed she stopped it. A minute later, it continued. I was annoyed that she ignored my request, but I decided to just deal with it because I didn't want to come off rude by asking again. Meanwhile, while my body was being tortured, my scalp was being scratched raw. Clearly, we have different definitions of "medium pressure" because I couldn't figure out which was worse, the body massage machine or the scalp wash. I have no idea if she was using her nails or some kind of tool, but all I could do was brace myself. I considered asking her to stop attacking my scalp and just wash my hair normally since I literally wrote that one of my goals was a "relaxing time," but given the language barrier, I knew it would probably be pointless. When it finally ended, I was taken to the blow-dry station. That was the only remotely relaxing part, but my scalp was so sore that I couldn't even enjoy it. Now, you might be thinking, "That's it, right?" Nope. When it was time to show the Groupon, I clarified that it covered both me and my friend since it's listed for two people/couples. Then we asked if we could tip with card. (I honestly didn't want to tip at all, but I figured, whatever, since I'll never be back.) They told us tips had to be through Venmo/Zelle. So we both tipped and turned to leave. But when we tried to walk out, the door was locked. I turned around and asked the lady at the front desk for help with the door. Instead of helping, she said something like, "Only one?" I assumed she meant the Groupon again, so I re-explained that it was for two people. She then clarified, "Tip... only one?" I was shocked. How unprofessional. What business double-checks if both people tipped? Tipping is optional. What if one of us didn't want to? Is that something we'd be forced to justify to her? I told her we both tipped. She said she received mine but not my friend's, so my friend had to pull out her phone, open her bank app, and show that $20 had been sent via Zelle. Again, how incredibly unprofessional. Maybe management should consider paying and training their employees better so they're not so desperate for tips. For context, the service isn't cheap. The Groupon was $140.

Though I could feel the pain a bit, it wasn't that much to warrant me to ask her to go a bit softer. She probably knew how tight my back was. Mixed with the arms, head, legs and back, she really worked on the tight areas and I was pretty happy with the experience. Definitely came out a bit sore but my knots were gone. I wanted to provide an update on what happened after I called the police. While the police were interviewing the workers at the business, they requested access to the security camera footage. During this time, the masseuse was acting very strange and repeatedly kept touching her pocket, which immediately raised concerns. The police gave her one final opportunity to conduct another search. The officer also asked me if I wanted to search the premises myself, and I told him that I wanted the entire place searched, including the masseuse, her pockets, and everywhere else thoroughly. Shortly after, the owner arrived and began speaking with the police. Then, unbelievably, the masseuse walked back into the same room (room 008) we had previously been in, came back out, and suddenly claimed she had found the missing item. She told the police it was supposedly under the pillow. What makes this highly suspicious is that she had already searched under the pillow and through the NEW sheets while I was present and stated that nothing was there. Now we're expected to believe that it was somehow hidden in the crack of the massage table (according to the owner stated on my friend's review) the entire time. That explanation sounds very sketchy and raises serious concerns about the credibility of what actually happened. STILL never coming back. The masseuse got caught.

The Himalayan salt room is the only shared area. The interior is well maintained, although it feels a bit outdated. the cleaning staff was attentive and kept the spa clean. I arrived 45 minutes before my massage so I could use the Himalayan salt room and sauna, and take a shower before my 60-minute massage. Overall, my experience was good. They charge $50 for a day pass. I would love to go back and use the spa again sometime in the future.

I do not typically get massages, but I wanted to go and treat myself since I have been stressed lately and was on vacation. It's very serene inside and quiet and everybody is so nice and helpful. My massage was amazing and I felt so relaxed. After afterwards I came back to my room and napped for two hours. This is something that I never really gonna do so it was so worth it. Once my massage was over too they take you into this relaxation lounge and they gave me Me a cup of hibiscus tea and a macaron and there were snacks and more waters and all around. It's just a really great place to go and sit and relax and unwind.
