I'm a huge fan of this place now and the hype is 100% real. If you want a place for a very relaxing experience while getting a deep scalp clean, this is it. I honestly needed a place like this after having a lot of product in my hair post-event, and this place did its job plus more. They have a very easy reservation system online through their website, although deposit is required. There seems to be enough staff for walk-ins too though. I opted for the royal deluxe without a facial to get more time for massage. This place is so well worth it. The lady was very kind working on me and actually surprisingly was able to find a lot of my knots across my neck and shoulder. I came in just for a quick scalp refresh but they easily won me over with the solid massage. They also do give out Molly Tea (milk tea, 70% sugar) to customers as an option. Came here for my birthday and I really enjoyed it! They're definitely very pricey - especially compared to many of the other hair spas in the SGV but I think I'll definitely come back. I love that they give you Molly Tea at the end of your service. The shampoos that they use are pretty (Garnier Fructis) cheap but I think the value really comes in the massage and the attention to detail. They kind of have this indie vibe but it's cozy. Never have I been to a head spa so luxurious. I especially loved the Molly Tea refresher while they blew dried my hair! I've been to a few head spa places in the SGV but this one was by far my favorite. You walk up to this unsuspecting 2nd level place in a typical SGV plaza, but what you receive was way more than it looked to be. They had private rooms and shared areas where there was just a curtain separating the different customers. I happen to get just a 1hr service. I had a private room, but could still hear commotion and voices since the door wasn't closed. It's not giving super peaceful immediately, but I certainly know people can relax there because someone was sleeping in the next room probably from their very relaxing head spa service. I didn't mind the noise at all because the service was amazing. At this location they offer the flat beds, which is different from other places where you sit in an awkward massage chair. I liked how they made me feel more comfortable with pillows under my legs. It felt more relaxing to be on a flat bed and they used real massage tools and techniques that I really enjoyed. I felt super relaxed. I got to dip my feet into a foot bath which was nice and refreshing. My head spa service itself was very thorough. I had Summer and thought she did a wonderful job. She was so nice and explained my hair condition so clearly. I had some rather good scores but it's nice they show you before and after the service how my hair cleanliness changed. They even offer to style your hair at the end. I opted for the straight look but some girls next to me got their hair curled. I thought the service would be my favorite part until they took me into the hair drying room. A beautiful tea setup was waiting for me with hot tea and snacks, and they even gave me a Molly Tea drink which I was most surprised at. It was a standard jasmine milk tea but I thought that was a nice touch to offer that in addition to our service. I think that made this location stand out the most. I will be back alone for that experience. Parking was super easy. there's a lot in the plaza or underground parking. All free of course in the SGV. It's no surprise they've been around for five years. Apparently a lot of celebrities have visited too. Today I tried their head spa and ear cleaning service, and the whole experience was excellent. The staff carefully checked my condition first and used products that suited me personally. What I appreciated most was that there was no upselling at all, which made the experience feel very relaxing and genuine. After the treatment, they even served tea and snacks, and to my surprise they prepared Jasmine Milk Tea for me -- no waiting in line needed! They also helped style my hair into beautiful soft waves before I left. The ear cleaning technician was very professional, and honestly, I didn't expect to find this level of service here. Highly recommend giving it a try if you've never experienced it before. I feel like ear cleaning is one of those things you try once and then keep coming back for! I have been feeling stressed lately. I was temped to try this place because of the good reviews. I tried their scalp hair treatment and ear cleaning. They offered drinks and pastries while I was waiting. The waiting room was pretty calm. They gave me a scalp analysis before my treatment, and I told them my concern about my dry scalp. I was escorted to the hair treatment room, and was provided with a rope to change into. This room does not allow me to soak my feet, but the chair I was sitting on is a massage chair. I was able to enjoy a good body massage throughout my hair treatment. My therapist has great technique. I almost fall asleep. I was provided with Chinese tea, Molly tea, and snacks after my treatment. I was then escorted to a different room for ear cleaning. My therapist told me that my ear is clean, so he gave me more massage on my ear instead. This was a wonderful experience, and I felt more relieved walking out of this place. I visited CXG Spa after receiving a gift card and decided to upgrade to the full facial and neck massage along with the scalp treatment--and I am so glad I did. It's a hidden gem, a mom and pop shop. I walked in carrying a lot of stress from some recent news, but the atmosphere and care here allowed me to completely let go. The experience was so soothing that I actually fell asleep during the head fountain and red light therapy! They used a tea tree treatment that felt amazing, and they even showed me 'before and after' photos of my scalp to show the improvement. The facial, neck massage, and red light therapy on my face were the perfect additions. To top it off, they provided lovely tea before and after the session and even blow-dried my hair. My mom, sister and I had an amazing experience! We did the 90 minute Royal treatment without the facial, and more massage time. 1st part of the treatment was a scalp analysis where they showed us how dry and flaky our scalps were. Next, they took us into a curtained off area that had our beds for the our treatment and asked us to change into a button wrap around towel. During our foot soak, they covered us in warm blankets and put on a warm eye mask and began using different brushes to gently scrape our scalps. Then the best part - shampooing and conditioning our hair with the most invigorating scalp massage. One of the best I've ever had! They also massaged our necks, and ended our treatment with a nice blow dry. They were very accommodating as well. I requested via text in the morning asking if the 3 of us could sit next to each other, and they made it happen, so if you want to sit next to someone you're going with, know you can ask. I recommend getting there 15 minutes ahead of your appointment to allow time for parking, walk up to the 2nd floor, use the restroom, and change into your towel wrap! They also have underground parking too if you can't find anything in the parking lot. Will definitely be back! read more

WOW I got the ear combo for 90 mins and it was amazing first they did the body massage which wasn't the best but still exeptable then came the scalp massage it was amazing it relaxed me all the way. The best part was the ear asmr at first it kind of feels weird but if you stay still and don't move it's one of the most uniquely calming things you will experience. I got a scalp massage and the asmr ear treatment ( no idea what it is but was so curious). So me and 3 girlfriends decided to venture out to the SGV to do this for a GNO. We had the best time. It's in a strip mall on the second floor. The Chinese nans us shown not the abbreviated one so look out for the sign I will post the pic. We were greeted by the lovely ladies there at the door. They had us change into a mumu ( I definitely recommend wearing a strapless bra. ) we were lead to a little room to do the ear asmr which was surprisingly so relaxing. My tech was ivy. She was so gentle and thorough. Feather dusting my ear then looking in with a light and pulling out my ear wax. Then swiffering it. It was oddly satisfying! Then when that was finished we moved to the hair spa section and she had me lie down on a bed and had me soak my feet in water then proceeded to wash my hair multiple times and massaged my scalp. It was very pleasant. My hair was never been so clean. I would go back for a full body massage next. My friend got that and said it was so good!! read more
