Hubs & I came to Bero Scalp Spa after looking around the area for scalp treatments. We recently went to Korea and got an 18-step scalp treatment there and wanted to compare the experience here locally at home. We selected the "60 min. Scalp Purifying Spa" treatment here at Bero, and I had called to make an appointment booking first thing in the morning for a weekday. They have different monthly discounts for their weekday & weekend pricing. If I were to compare to the Korean scalp treatment we got earlier this year, it really is a big difference compared to Bero's scalp treatment and Bero's cannot really compare... However, we both enjoyed the experience as it does include before & after AI camera shots of your scalp, scalp cleaning, deep scalp massage w/ some neck & shoulders as well, a full body massage chair, very light refreshments (tea + cookies), some other oils at the very end, and a simple blow dry. They don't style your hair, just a simple blow dry. We were both surprised to see that our scalps were still looking very clean so we might stretch out our next scalp treatment a bit longer to see how it goes. Bero Scalp Spa is located in the plaza next to the SG Hilton, on the second floor. Parking lot is available. Elevators are a bit slow. Tina and Alice were both good, as hubs & I both needed the massages we got. Their interior is clean and each of the massaging/scalp areas has privacy curtains. My friends and I live 70 miles apart and so Bero Hair Spa was a perfect midpoint in San Gabriel to meet for a Girls' Day. We are all peri/menopausal and concerned of our hair thinning so we thought this would be a fun outing. Wow! Did we underestimate what a great experience it would be?! From the moment we got there, the esthetically were so attentive and professional. They did a scan of our scalps to show us how each was doing and then we had the most luxurious hair washing ever, all while on massage beds. After the hair treatment, we once again got a scan and could see the dramatic improvement. For example, my hair is pretty healthy (no dyeing, blow-dry g or regular products) but my Scalp had irritation and dryness from daily washing. Karen did an amazing job with my head and scalp spa. I started off by having my scalp examined by another worker who took photos of the front, sides, and back of my scalp to analyze it. He determined that I had some oil build-up and dandruff so they tailored the treatment to cater to my needs. I even got to save the results to my phone so I could access it at another time. I can't remember everything that she did, but I know she started with some sort of oil treatment, washed my hair with various products, and gave me a neck and shoulder massage in between. I found it very cool, and different from other locations, that Bero Scalp Spa uses massage chairs as the seats instead of a usual bed. She blow-dried my hair, applied some minty treatment, and finished it off with hair oil. I didn't feel like any part of it was rushed at all and that she was very attentive. At the end, I was offered tea and asked to rate their service. I love this place and am already recommending it to my family and friends. We started with aromatherapy, then gotten into a scalp cleansing process and finished off with a lot a nice long massage on my forehead, scalp, and ended with a shoulder massage.
