Went for Father's Day lunch and it was a good choice. We were seated immediately and our waitperson came by for appetizer and drink orders. We had the Queso with chips. The queso was great with just enough kick but the chips were cold and seemed stale. Which isn't a surprise with the crazy humidity lately but it's something that ought to be checked and addressed when needed. The Taproom burger was tasty and made with very fresh ingredients. The pretzel roll and all the toppings made the burger a challenge to get a bite, messy in a good way. The bistro burger was great and I had half of my partner's for lunch the next day. It was great as a leftover. I ordered my fries crispy, but the kitchen didn't get the memo, again. The booth was very comfortable and the room was delightfully cool but not cold. It was quiet enough for conversation but not so quiet that you're afraid to break the silence. Tips: Check their app - "hops for pops" scored a free draft pint on fathers day. This has become my husband and I's favorite place to come and just hang out while we sit and work. The staff has always been great whether it's being greeted at the door, the bartender, or the waitstaff. On two separate occasions we were there to celebrate some important milestones and both times got treated to amazing service. Other times we've been there on a normal occasion and also got great service. My favorite has become their brunch. Make sure to try the brunchwrap as you will not be disappointed! First time trying M.L.Rose and won't be the last! First impressions was not very good. The hostess was not present at the stand, we had to wait a bit for her to come greet us and when she finally did she seemed really scattered brained. Seating at the booth looking around, the restaurant was nice, modern, not over decorated. The waitress was helpful as we looked through the menu. I didn't note her name but she was nice and knew the menu well. The food was really good, my husband said best chicken strips he had in a long time! As an appetizer, we ordered chips and queso. It was so good. The chips seemed house made. I had to stop eating them cuz I knew my burger was coming soon. My burger was seasoned deliciously! The waffle fries were a great side. You go for the burgers, and no disappointments there. My Cajun turkey burger was perhaps the best turkey burger I have had in a long, long time. The blue cheese burger is another thumbs up. We came on a Friday evening, and got seated right away. Everyone here was super friendly from the hostess to our server. The tech time was also pretty good considering that it was a Friday evening and pretty packed. Food wise, I liked their food. Everything I tried had a nice flavor to it and was cooked perfectly. I tried the good neighbor combo and it came with a beer, cheeseburger, and fries for $12.99. I thought it was a really good deal. I also tried their dip em wings (not sauced) and fried chicken sandwich. The waffle fries here had a nice flavor. This is a major step up from a burger bar. They have great options for a burger and other great options besides a burger. As an app we had the fried pickles and peppers. The batter was light and delicious. I had the Belgian burger which was juicy and filled with flavor. Their onion rings are exceptional. ML Rose has been my go-to spot for a long time, and tonight reminded me why. Thursdays are one of their busiest nights because of the specials, and Daron absolutely crushed it. She was paired with a brand-new bartender who was still learning the ropes, which easily could have slowed everything down. Instead, Daron somehow managed to take care of the entire bar, help train her new teammate, and still made every customer feel taken care of. I've been coming here long enough to know this isn't unusual--Daron is consistently one of the best bartenders around. She's friendly, attentive, incredibly efficient, and somehow keeps a positive attitude no matter how busy it gets. Great food and a great atmosphere keep me coming back, but employees like Daron are what make ML Rose stand out. She deserves the recognition. read more

I had the privilege of doing an early tasting for the brand new location here in Murfreesboro. This crew is ready to serve the boro on a brand new level. The bar area is fantastic with tons of other seating for group or maybe even a date night situation. Abby was our server she killed it, but you have to be in your own world to not great service at this bar area. We started with brussels sprouts and these are a very well thought out dish. The pecans, the bacon, the sauce = perfection. I tried the Cajun turkey burger It was so delicious. It's giving taco vibes. The sweet potato fries were not my favorite, but they were fine. Then the crown jewel a KlondikeBar over top a brownie with caramel sauce. Whoever thought of this clearly needs a raise. It was phenomenal. They have all types of beer, cocktails you name it they have it and they are ready to serve it! She ordered the ANM.L. - STYLE burger but wanted to go without the carmalized onion and switch to regular onion instead. The weekend brunch at M.L.Rose is an absolute inflation buster. The 2-4-1 mimosas, Bloody Marys, and Von Elrod's Pilsner are served Saturday and Sunday until about 2 PM. The way they structure it is essentially 50/50 pricing, so you don't actually have to order two to take advantage of the deal. Very civilized. I had the Sgt. Pepper Burger with a turkey patty substitution, and it may have been one of the best turkey burgers I've ever had. It came with the turkey patty, habanero jack cheese, serrano pepper-bleu cheese, and onion on a locally baked bun that seemed like a potato roll. It was missing the grilled jalapeños, tomato, and chipotle ranch, but honestly, I didn't miss them at all -- it was excellent as-is. We also ordered the Loaded Skillet Queso, which comes with house-made tortilla chips, black beans, pico de gallo, and grilled jalapeños -- rich, shareable, and very cheesy. I substituted the waffle fries for a side salad (there was an upcharge that showed up on the bill), and the creamy green Greek dressing was good -- very yogurt-like and fresh. The restaurant itself was impressively clean, with the wait staff continuously tidying the dining area. Our server, Ashley, was excellent: knowledgeable about the menu, kept our water glasses full, and had a genuinely great attitude throughout the meal. We'll definitely be asking for her section when we return. Overall, a great brunch experience and strong value for the money. p.s. What made the visit very special for us is that they have our favorite gluten reduced beer from Spain the Daura Lager. So rare to find gluten free beers and they had our favorite. read more

I fell in the ladies restroom over 3 weeks ago. No, did not go to the Er. I was just brusied up and very sore. John, the manger was very nice and had me do a incident report. Well, it's been 3 weeks and still have not heard from anyone. The manager even re -submitted the report and stated I should hear from someone. The blue-cheese overwhelmed the profile of any other ingredients, which is unfortunate because I was looking forward to having a spicy burger. What a ripoff! We met some friends there. I ordered a salad, and my wife ordered a plain impossible burger with waffle fries. We both drank water. My salad was $15 and very small. My wife's burger and fries were $17. It seems that the burgers at this location are smaller than the ones at the original 8th avenue location. When we were done the waitress handed me the handheld computer, and the total was $41.50! I thought something must be wrong, but the computer doesn't show an itemized list of charges, so there's no way to see what you're being charged for. I added a tip, and then the waitress came back and handed me a receipt. Turns out they already added a 20% gratuity to the bill without telling anyone. I told this to the guy next to me, and he was just as mad because he'd also added a 20% tip on top of it. So, a small salad, burger and fries was almost $50! There's too many other great options right in that area. Don't waste your money going to ML Rose like I did. read more

As far as the presentation... the chicken seemed overcooked but after a bite it was surprisingly very tender and delicious; however the fries were average and a little cold. I can say that I enjoyed their West Nashville location so I was really looking forward to trying this location and we decided to order take out. We got the buffalo chicken tenders for an appetizer and the price was $10 and I'm not real sure how this is even considered an appetizer to share with the table because there were literally only three tiny tenders so that was a complete rip off for $10. Toot's has way better tenders and you get a lot more for that price. We tried the Belgian burger and the ANML Style Burger and they were both really dry and didn't even have everything that it's supposed to come with. This is the second time that I have been to the ML Rose in Murfreesboro and the second time that I have been disappointed. I go to the one on 8th Ave in Nashville and have never been disappointed. I ordered a cheeseburger and ask for it to be a little pink. Took two bites out of it and looked at it and it was raw. Looked like it was seared on top and bottom. It was awful. The waitress was very apologetic and said that hey would remake it. She came back after they remade the burger and said that they were going to comp both of our meals. I have eaten at ML Rose in Mt.Juliet several times but visited the Murfreesboro location and it is a dumpster fire. Been twice and there won't be a third!
