i used to come here all the time when i wanted simple nails for a cheaper price instead of going to my usual nail tech for my extra/full design sets that are usually around $90-$100. In fact, the cover photo on this page is actually my nails, and that set was only $80 & a lot more design..I've also gotten french tips here before with extra details like gems/crosses and paid around $70 This time, I got the most basic set possible: simple french tip with chrome (which chrome honestly isn't even visible & i told them i didn't like how they came out ether), and was charged $112. I was really shocked because these were the simplest nails I've ever gotten here, yet somehow the most expensive. I reached out afterward because I genuinely wasn't happy with how they turned out and asked if I could either: * have them removed and refunded except for removal costs, or * repaint them black and partially adjust the price Both requests were denied. What confused me most was the price breakdown they gave me didn't seem to match the pricing shown on either their social media or website. If these prices had always been this high for simple sets, I honestly never would've come here as my "save money" nail spot in the first place if pricing would be the same for my extra design nails by my usual girl for same price/less then these.. It just made me really disappointed because I used to leave happy every time, and this experience felt completely different. I'm not one to write many reviews but I just had to give credit to Bella for the incredible work she does. I found this place more than a year ago and it's beyond my favorite, Bella has done my manicure better than I imagined it would come out every time! And even have gotten my pedicure here which has been great too. It's a very cute salon with wonderful kind people. I couldn't completely decide on my Christmas nails and I showed Bella pictures combining different styles and it came out insanely beautiful. I also drive from South San Jose and it is so worth it. I came yesterday to get a fill. I asked for pink french manicure with chrome on top. I did not receive thay. the girl cut me real bad too. all my fingers were different shapes and not coffin at all. This is the worst manicure I've ever had in my life. They told me that my nails were too short for a gel manicure (never heard that before but ok) so they told me to do an overlay. I listened because I thought maybe it would look better if that's what they're recommending. I was greatly mistaken. Every single nail was a different shape, uneven in length, and thick. I left feeling incredibly upset because I have a major event and wanted to feel pretty by treating myself to a manicure, but instead I left with ugly hands and feeling like I just wasted money. My first time at this fairly new nail salon in town. New owners I believe. I usually go to San Jose for my nails however since I live here in town was dreading the drive so wanted to get something simple and quick, so decided to stay in town and give it a try. I called to make a appt same day and they were available which was awesome! I just wanted a simple acrylic nail removal and overlay on my natural short nails. BELLA was who helped me and she was super sweet and polite. I let her know how I like them natural not thick and she did awesome! I loved my nails short and simple! I will have to give it a try again and maybe add some designs and coffin shape once my natural nails grow out again. Came to this salon for the first time and boy I was disappointed. I got an "organic" pedicure and a gel manicure. The only organic thing about it was the massage with the oranges, everything else was standard. I suppose the pedi was ok, but the manicure was subpar to say the least. I had regular gel that needed to be removed which it was but had to complain once the lady started applying the new one because there was still remnants of the old one. I let her continue with the process and when I checked the results, I had nail polish on my skin and she didn't even bother to clean. I also had dead skin on the sides on the nails. I was in dire need of a pedicure and full set, the staff at this salon did not disappoint. I had no prior appointment, but was graciously greeted by the staff and was seated immediately as I walked in. I had the pleasure of having Kim do my full set and pedicure. She was super helpful when it came to helping me choose colors and telling me what would look best on my skintone. Also, I have to give her props for dealing with my indecisiveness and nit-pickiness. Usually I have anxiety in voicing my opinion when getting my nails done at salons, but Kim showed a lot of willingness and kindness to cater to my every qualms. She made me feel like my opinion mattered and that it was not a bother to fix the nails to my liking, which was really helpful to calming my anxieties. Also, during the pedicure they had used a foot soak packet and lotion that smelled just like jasmine milk tea. Bonus points for that! Overall, I had a super great experience here and would definitely be coming back in the near future. However, I do wish they had a wider variety of nail charms and accessories to choose from (since I love having super extra nails). This review is based on the chemical smell in the place alone. Had an appt to get my nails done with my daughter and couldn't do it, the smell of mail chemical product is so bad I couldn't stay in, had to cancel. Air quality is so poor and there answer is to prop the door open. Which let the terrible smell outdoors. I stayed outside while my daughter got her nails done. With all the environmental controls / issues these days I'm surprised that there not some kind of health stand and for ail salons. If I could zero stars I would. People are very nice however none of their services are quality. My review is mostly in hopes that someone can avoid the trauma of losing their eyelashes like I did. I made the mistake of having my ladies done there. After 7 days they started falling out so I went back paid another $90 with tip thinking they were getting fixed. The lady was BEYOND aggressive during the application process. Not only did she glue my top corner of my eye to my bottom, she CUT several of my lashes with scissors during the process During the application process she pulled my eye open and got so much glue in my eyes that I could not open my eyes to even walk out. I should have went with my gut and told her to stop when she was yanking on my lashes and I could hear what I thought were scissors being used. Well 2 days later not only did the extensions fall out I am now left with almost none of my own eyelashes whatsoever. I am beyond traumatized. I hope this someone reads this review before using their services, especially eyelash extensions. Everyone should be aware ! The lady doing lash extensions should NOT be providing that service.
