When I came back, the owner said "oh, those cars aren't for test drives. Are you ready buy it today?" When I said yes if I like he, he smirked and said l'd have to make an appointment. They were not willing to assist, look at it, or deal with the issue and did not return any phone calls. Understand the car was purchased "as is"; with the mirror on when I viewed it, but for a mirror to fall off, especially in that amount of time is shady, at the least a poor business stan-dard. Not sure now what else might be wrong. The staff was initially nice and worked out a decent price to settle on, but take caution of hidden problems with this place. The type of alignment damage would indicate someone did a decent bump to to the back (which was also more expensive to do and cost me $105) but it interestingly wasn't in the CarFAX or mentioned when I asked questions of damage. - After another 2-3 weeks my brakes went out on the highway which was a pretty scary experience but luckily nobody was around and the e-brake still worked and was very strong since the pads/rotors were brand new (hey, they didn't lie about everything!). Something happened in the rear lines which are labor intensive to fix. I got it fixed and was billed for $350 I sent multiple emails and made phone calls about the situation and was promised that they would "make it right". However after a while they stopped returning my emails (presumably to keep things off the record as instead of addressing the problems I was told to call the dealership) and things kept breaking so I figured it's not worth the hassle to keep mailing about it. I can understand that there is no warranty buying a used car from these lots, but If a car is listed as "Mechanically sound" I should be able to trust that a car has no issues, or that so many problems would show up right after leaving the lot. The buying experience was alright, but if you want a trustworthy and reliable car dealership, try elsewhere or be prepared to save up a another $800-$2000 to fix whatever is wrong with the car as you leave the lot. read more
