After her photos I started following the Sweet Poppy Studios blog where you can see spectacular photos from different photo shoots. I was so impressed by her photography that I decided I wanted her to take photos of me for my blog. I have had professional photos taken before for Christmas cards and what not but had never had a photo shoot by myself. I was really nervous that the photos wouldn't capture me looking natural but they turned out wonderfully. I met up with Carleigh the day of the shoot and told her about the blog, my audience, and the look I was going for. She managed to capture exactly what I had described. She arranged my decorations/props in a way that looked natural and real. She made me feel comfortable and genuinely happy. I was so excited to see the final images and was overjoyed with the final product. Carleigh really has an eye for capturing light and personality. I was thrilled! He was great to work and communicate with, made booking and paying easy, and was very reasonably priced. On the day of our wedding, Eisen and his buddy showed up on time and worked hard all day to capture every moment. When we got our video, we were absolutely speechless. It was edited so well - from the music to the speeches with seamless transitions - it perfectly summarized our wedding day in under 8 minutes. I love it so much and every time I watch it I'm so touched and floored by how amazing our video turned out. My husband and I already took professional wedding photos in Taiwan (known for their wedding/engagement photos in the world) and we were pretty picky and skeptical on a lot of the photographers work here in the U.S....But boy, was I amaze at how talented Jason and Hy after seeing our engagement photos... So they did not disappoint. The wedding day -- ... We had our Viet/Chinese traditional wedding where we had to wake up bright and early (5AM). 102 team (We had Hy, Jason and Huu) arrived on time or even earlier and started taking pictures as I was getting ready... The day was long - approx 16 hours and they were there throughout it all... I didn't have to worry about them, they followed us around like we were Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt making us feel like celebrities...The end result -- the photos came out beautiful and my parents were very please.... NOTES TO THE BRIDES - You want a photographer who you can trust and not worry at all. The best investment you can make is to book this talented team. They were truly one of the vendors I had no worries and exceeded all my expectations. They are professional, well prepared with lots of experience...As a wedding coordinator, myself - I've worked with many photographers and they are definitely the one I will be referring all my clients...
