Ok so is this the most I've ever spent on a manicure? Yes. Does it take longer than most manicures? Yes. Do I continue to go? Also, yes. I've been getting my nails done for over a decade. But I've always been a no fake tips and one color kind of girl. This studio makes your nails flawless, so much that people will think they're not your natural nails. The Russian manicure is a dry manicure that is somewhat controversial (I don't think it's legalized in every state) because they cut your cuticles down which is thought to put your nail bed at risk of infection. But this allows for a close to skin, no nail bed showing manicure that lasts for weeks. I'm talking 5+ weeks. And no it's never hurt me, they use a fresh enclosed tool pack for every client, and I've been several times without having any pain or getting an infection. They also use a rubber base that hardens and protects your nail from bending. I've had my nails done by Nazira, Esme, and Liza. All great but I love how meticulous Nazira is and Esme did an amazing job French manicure paint job for my wedding. A few other things to note- they don't take walk-ins, you need a credit card on file to make an appt and they will charge if you don't cancel 24 hrs before your appt (they send emails and texts to remind you). Unfortunately, they recently increased their prices (basic Russian gel manicure price is now $90) so I'm not sure how much longer I will go but if you've ever been curious to try a Russian manicure, I highly recommend it! read more

It's actually worse than originally thought. This business are liars. They are using non licensed techs to do nails. They lie about appts being canceled and they truly have zero clue what customer service is. Not ONE original tech, front desk "administrator" nor manager has lasted for over a couple of months. My nails are awful and are just healing from the cuts and looking at a white manicure that is now pink bc of stained blood. Never, never, never again - a very strange group of people. Not only were they able to book me with an advanced tech Karina the day before, the entire booking process was straightforward and organized. They also offer you drinks and chocolates. Mira is the technician that I have been coming to see and she is the best! She is super precise and friendly. The Russian manicures are pretty pricey but I think it's worth it. My nails have never looked better and the manicure lasts about a month with no lifting or chips! I've been here twice now and it is hands down THE BEST manicure I've ever gotten. I've gotten a Russian Manicure both times I visited. The service takes time (plan for 90min - 2 hours) and it is worth every second. The attention to detail is second to none. My first manicure still looked perfect over a month after my initial service. I only came back so soon because my nails started growing really fast and I wanted them to look tidy for my job. The salon is gorgeous and definitely has a luxurious, high-end vibe. I was greeted warmly when I arrived and although my nail tech was running a bit behind, I didn't mind because the ambiance was really nice. I know that Russian manicures generally take long, so I only book them on days where I have ample amounts of free time. I was in no rush, plus I was offered a cup of tea and chocolates by reception while I waited, which I thought was really sweet. The technician who serviced me didn't speak much English, and we had a bit of a hard time communicating during the appointment, but she was incredibly kind and I enjoyed being serviced by her nonetheless. I'm pretty boring when it comes to manicures and don't really like getting designs anyways, so there wasn't much to speak about. The nails came out gorgeous, and I tipped generously and left the salon really happy after my first appointment. Delighted by my positive experience at my first appointment, I booked my next one for the following month. After about two weeks however, I noticed that my nails were chipping severely. My natural nails grow really quickly, but are very fragile, so I get them wrapped in hard gel. As the gel began to chip, so did my natural nails underneath. I initially wasn't going to say anything, but the chips were getting progressively worse and I was worried about the health of my natural nails. Plus, the manicure was over $100. I reached out to the salon, they asked for photos (which I provided) and then never replied back. After a few hours I messaged them again to follow up and they told me that they only offer complimentary fixes within 5 days. They also said that since so much time has passed, it's likely that the chips were due to something I did and not related to the quality of the service provided. While I completely understand why it's necessary for businesses to have policies like this in place, exceptions should be made in instances where services are not completed properly. I tried explaining that the worst chips were on my non-dominant hand. It doesn't make sense for my nails to chip so severely on the hand that I use the least. The gel on each and every one of my nails is chipping/peeling at the tip, meaning that the free edges of my nails were not encapsulated with the gel. I always follow proper aftercare and take extra precautions to protect my natural nails since I know they're prone to breakage. I've been getting Russian manicures for a few months now, and my nails have never chipped this bad, especially not after two weeks. I expressed that I already had an appointment coming up in two weeks, but that I didn't think my nails were going to hold up until then. They said all they could do was offer me a $10 discount at my next appointment. I took a look at some of their more critical reviews and other people have had similar experiences. I don't have a problem with paying more for high quality experiences, but if I'm going to be paying so much for a manicure, I expect my nails to last 4-6 weeks as advertised. Especially since I upgraded to hard gel, which comes with a surcharge. I canceled my upcoming appointment and am going to look for a new salon which is upsetting because I will definitely be charged extra for foreign removal and correction. A simple fix of the severely chipped nail and an extra layer of gel on the tips of the other nails would have been enough to hold me over until my next appointment. If they would've been more understanding and actually offered a solution, I would have kept my future appointment. Customer service, nail health, and the quality of the service provided is much more important to me than aesthetics. I can't afford to have my natural nails exposed like this because they will definitely break off. The whole point of getting a Russian manicure in the first place is to protect the health of my natural nails. I really wanted to like this salon, but unfortunately I will not be returning. read more

MY MANICURE LOOKS FAT, THICK AND UNEVEN, AND THE NAIL TECH WAS IN CONSTANT RUSH. I booked an appointment for gel removal + 1 nail extension + hard gel set (one color). The website suggested two hours. Either the manicure time needs to be extended or my nail tech wasn't properly trained? The nail tech acted impatient and in constant rush. She didn't care if I am happy with the shape, length or color. First, I asked her to file my nail sides more to get thinner-looking. ( I go to nail salon monthly or do my own nails, so I know my nails could be much narrower, see photo attached). Also, the nail tech next to me filed sides for her client too. However, she only filed couple seconds and moved on. She was impatient and kept on looking at her watch. When it came to nails length, she did ask me if I want to cut shorter, I said no in the first place because I wanted to see how it looks when all my extensions are removed. Then I realized they were too noticeable uneven, so I asked her to make the long ones shorter. Of course, she watched her watch again and filed a little bit and left them uneven. I liked the other customer's nail color and asked the same. She said there's not much left. So I asked for a French color based instead, which should be pinkish beige, nude, sheer pink or clear, but she only gave me two based options they used in French tips that I found them too pink and too saturated for French tips. I understood she was under time pressure so I compromised to quickly pick one instead of looking other colors. Seems like this salon gives their staffs a lot of time pressure by stacking up their appointments with no breaks. My nail tech's goal was definitely not about customer satisfaction. I would say this salon is quantity over quality. *Btw, they applied super thick hard gel in once, so all my fingers had burning sensation during polymerize/ UV curing which I rarely gets in other Russian hard gel salons. read more

I got a gel manicure with simple nail art and a gel pedicure one week ago. The salon is clean and employees nice which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1, but the quality of the services is questionable. For the pedicure, they used a buffing machine that heated up and kept burning my skin. My heel has been sensitive ever since, and one of my toe nail beds has been swollen since the appointment. For the manicure, they look good although they went a little shorter than I wanted, but my thumb nail chipped yesterday after only 6 days. A little backstory, I came into the salon with very thin, frail, and broken nails after five rounds of nail extensions from another salon that improperly removed my last set. Two of my nails were super painful because one nail bed was destroyed and the other nail had cracked deep into the skin so it was bleeding for days before. When I came to MStudio, they took me right when I got in, the girl was brand new but I had never in my life had such a gentle manicure. My nails are very sensitive and she was so gentle, that it was actually pleasant. She was mindful of the fact that my nails were thin, so they'd burn when getting my nails done and she went above and beyond. She was even able to reconstruct one of the split nails and it looks like nothing happened. I was the last client that night and didn't feel rushed, despite them waiting for me and my nail tech to finish so they close. I'm not going back to my old nail places, this is my new go-to.
